Chapter Text
Wilbur lives on the very edge of Castorville, a small town in rural Oregon, warm summers and firefly jars, a treehouse in the backyard, firepits and morning walks to the bakery. In all of his 16 years it's all he's ever known. He didn't think he ever wanted anything more, even if his family was complicated and even if they were the only people he would consider his friends, he didn't see any issue. He found that keeping those you loved most closest and not extending it any further than that was fine, he didn't see the urgency of gaining as many friends as possible that his peers did. At least..that's what he thought. But there's a new piece of his life's puzzle, a new person, a person who tests his beloved boundaries....
Entry #93
Dearest journal, I met someone new this week. They aren't particularly striking in any way, well they're kind of garrish actually, but I still feel like I need to learn more about them. I don't like how my brain is telling me to investigate further, I don't even know his name! I feel stupid even writing this down. But I think I might have to swallow my pride this time dear journal. Anyways, here's what I know:They (or he I guess) have longish black hair, and by black I do mean very dark, nicely done too, shiny and kind of shaggy, Brown eyes, beauty marks all over, (not ALL OVER all over but I can only assume). Fair skin, darker than mine, and they're short. Not terribly so, but surely much shorter than me, not in a bad way at all though, it suits him I think.
