Work Text:

The Broadcasting club. A club that really consisted of 2 people, Nanamine Sakura and Hyuuga Natsuhiko, and 2 apparitions, school mystery number. 3 Mitsuba Sousuke (or rather, the poor boys reincarnate.) and Yugi Tsukasa, twin brother of school mystery number. 7, Hanako-san of the bathroom. The four of them together were an.. interesting group. Each one having a vastly different personality to any of the others in the room.

Today was a day no different for the group, waiting for rumors to spread, waiting for the mayhem to start, everything you'd expect. (You really wouldn't, but that's what matters, they don't want anyone on their trail now do they?) But, this caused a feeling of boredom through the lot of them. This resulted in an fight between Mitsuba and Natsuhiko over something stupid (that something being the youngest of the Minamoto boys), while fueled by Tsukasa, which always resulted in Sakura sitting in the corner, observing.

"I'm not gay?!" Mitsuba shrieked as he threw a throw pillow in the brunettes face. I guess it really was a throw pillow.
"Calling a boy cute is gay!" Natsuhiko yelled, trying to block the pillows and various objects being chucked at him from across the room.
"It was an observation you pervert!" There goes a plastic tea cup. (They had to buy the plastic ones for Tsukasa so he'd stop destroying Sakura's nice sets.)
"It's still gay!" Another tea cup.
"Yeah it's gay Mitsuba-Chan!" Tsukasa chimed in from his place behind Sakura.
"Sakura back me up here! Please?" He desperately called for backup, but to no avail. She took a glance at what was happening, sighed, and went back to reading.
The fight slowly started dying, as the sun went down and it was time for those who weren't ghosts to leave. Though you couldn't tell the sun was setting, as it was raining that day.
Natsuhiko held out his hand, signaling for Sakura to take it, so they could walk together. The two weren't together, not yet at least. But it was blaringly obvious to anyone who saw them that they had some kind of chemistry. Hesitantly, she took his hand in her own, this was something new. Usually she would reject the offer, but as time went on she slowly warmed up to this kind of affection. Together the two walked out of the school building, hand in hand into the rain.

They walked together, even though Natsuhiko lived closer to the school than Sakura, he still walked her all the way to her house. 'I can't let you get kidnapped' as he put it. But she didn't mind, the extra time could be nice when he wasn't being annoying.

As they approached her house, he brought down the umbrella, handing it to her. The rain wasn't as bad anymore, just a sprinkle even. Though it was enough for his hair to stick to his forehead slightly.
"Here you are, home sweet home." He smiled at her, a bright smile, it was genuine.
"Thank you for walking me home, I appreciate it."
"Of course, anytime. Just let me know."
The comment made her smile, it wasn't a big one, but it was genuine, just like his. Before she knew it, he unlaced her hand from his, the warmth slowly leaving. However it returned, just in a different way. As he raised her hand in his, giving it a small peck.
Eyes wide, she wasn't sure how to react. This was new, very new and very different.
As he left her hand fall, he turned to leave, waving before walking back towards his house.
It left her hand shaking a bit, but not in a bad way. She ran her fingers over the spot, as she watched him leave from her doorway.
Maybe he wasn't so bad, but he sure was fearless.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed, because I really enjoyed writing this one. It's my first time writing genuine fluff, so sorry if it's bad!! Xoxo sstarlvr
