“Are you sure Marlene? They are going to think you are married to black”
“I'm sure Babe. I'm happy to give them a kid and I'm going to be Auntie Mar”
“Are you sure this is safe Sirius? Me being a dad? What about the full moons?”
“Yes it's safe. We agreed I would be the bio dad, despite the inbred family history, so our child would be safe. We have multiple people who can watch the child on the moon. Everything will be safe”
“There you go Mrs Black, Mr Black, you are pregnant”
“Why did we have to pretend I'm married to black again?”
“Because unmarried people and gay people can't use IBF”
“Oh yeah”
“I'm hungry. Babe get me ice cream and pickles for the baby?”
“Of course Mar”
“I wanted that mission”
“We are pregnant Marlene. We can't go on missions”
“I know Alice. I'm fed up of being pregnant with black's kid”
“You only have two months left, Mar. Me and lily have 3 more months”
“Hey at least it isn't twins like me!”
“I don't know how you cope Lills”
“AAHHH!!! CAN I GO BACK ON THE OFFER NOW? AHH I DON'T WANT TO BE A SURROGATE ANYMORE?”
“Hello Beca Marlene Black”
“Add another e in her name so it's slightly different to mine”

On the 18th june 1980, a wonderful thing happened. A little girl was born via surrogacy. The girl was called Beca Marleene Black and she was the apple of her parents eye. As soon as the boys saw the kid, they were in love with the child. They were finally parents. The girl was beautiful and her Parents Remus Lupin and Sirius Black knew this. The moment the girl was born, their world changed for the better. But the way she was born and created caused one itsy bitsy problem.

A NEW BLACK!
Yesterday we heard amazing news from the grand hospital. The disowned previous Heir of the noble and most ancient house of Black, Sirius Black, (turn to page 10 to find out about the disownment) has had a child with the youngest McKinnon Daughter, Marlene.
It is believed that the couple were secretly married as the healer was calling them Mr and Mrs Black. Which is amazing news as everyone believed Sirius was a bachelor that would never marry.
The couple had a girl called Beca Marleene Black. The girl was born with no hair at 2:30pm on the 18th june 1980. Despite having no hair, the child looks so much like her papa. Let's see if it stays this way.
Now let's bring up the controversial topic. Is it ok for the father and for friends to be in the birth room?
Mrs Black had Sirius, Remus Lupin and Dorcas Meadows in her Delivery room”
At first the little family was perfect but then things started going bad in 1981.
The war got so much worse in 1981. So many people are gone.
Edgar Bones, his wife and their children - (except his daughter, Susen) dead.
Fabian Prewett - Dead
Gideon Prewett - dead
Adalbert Waffling - dead
Benjy Fenwick - dead
Mary McDonald - Missing
Marlene McKinnon - Dead
Dorcas Meadowes - dead.
Marlene and the whole McKinnon family was found dead in their home in july 1981. Then a month later, Dorcas was killed for unknown reasons by Voldemort himself.
The deaths paused for a while then October happened.
Remus lupin disappeared on a mission for Dumbledore (leaving Beca in Sirius's care)
Sirius forced the potter's to change secret keeper because he thought Remus was the spy.
Peter Pettigrew told Voldemort where the potter's were hiding.
Then Halloween 1981 happened.
Lily and James Potter were killed.
Sirius Black walked up to a house that was crumbling apart. Worry filled his face as he rushed inside. In the hallway, he noticed a lifeless body on the ground and he collapsed to the floor in tears of anger and sadness "no James no! Peter that rat!!!". It was then that he heard crying from upstairs.
Despite still silently crying for his dead best friend and despite being full of anger, the man rushed upstairs to find the body of Lily and two babies in coats. One crying baby boy and one giggling baby girl. The boy had raven coloured hair and green eyes. The girl had red hair and Grey eyes. Seeing Lily dead made the man even more angry but he kept his cool because he needed to sooth his godson. He quickly picked the one year old up and started rocking him "Shh it's okay, Harry. Uncle Padfoot has you".
After a bit, Harry finally calmed down and the girl stopped laughing but now there were more footsteps downstairs. Sirius picks the girl up, grabs his wand and storms down stairs to see a giant man, crying over the body on the floor. The man had wild, long tangles of bushy black hair and his beard hid most of his face, he had hands the size of dustbin lids and his feet, in their leather boots, were like baby dolphins.
"S-sirius what happened?" The man said to Sirius "He killed them all. James and lily. Both of them are dead, Hagrid." That just made Hagrid cry more. "W-what about poor harry and Jazmine?" He asked. Sirius pushed the babies into Hagrid's arms. "Voldemort is nowhere to be seen but he left his wand and Harry now has a scar. Now take Harry and Jazmine to Mcgonagall. She's looking after Beca until Remus gets back. I'll be back.You can use my bike" Sirius says as he was about to walk out of the door. "W-where are you going?"
"To kill a rat"
And with that Sirius disappeared leaving Hagrid with the babies and a motorbike.
It took a day but Sirius finally found him. He finally found Peter Pettigrew. He found him in a beautiful muggle town out in the middle of nowhere. But in the middle of the town, there stood a quivering round man who was anything but beautiful. He had dirty blonde hair that was all scruffy and notty. He was wearing black robes that were covered in dirt and all ripped up. His whole body was covered in dirt and mud. His face showed a look of fear and sadness. This man was Peter Pettigrew.
Sirius soon appeared in front of him. His eyes only showed anger. "Peter Pettigrew!" Sirius growled out as Peter jumped backwards in fear. Sirius pulls his wand out of his hair letting his hair fall down to his shoulders before he slowly starts walking towards Peter in anger. "Sirius….. my friend…. You don't want to do this?" Sirius laughs a creepy murderous laugh "friends? Oh we aren't friends, Pettigrew. Friends don't kill their other friend and his family"
"Eek!"
Sirius zapped Peter with a dark hex as he backed Peter into a wall. "Siriu-"
"Shut up pettigrew!. You don't get to talk anymore!" Sirius shouted. Now the streets were filled with muggles. Muggles watching a wizarding fight go on. Muggles calling 999. Muggles who are whitenessness. Muggles who are in the way. Muggles who could help Peter escape.
"Sirius, my friend, please. I'm sorry"
"You don't get to be sorry you got them killed!"
Sirius laughs murderously again and goes to cast the killing curse when Peter secretly waves his wand causing one of his fingers to fall off and
BOOM!!!!
A massive explosion goes off right where Peter was. Sirius falls backwards with the force of the explosion. He was fine. But the muggles weren't. 13 muggles had been caught in the explosion and had been killed. The only reminder of Peter was his severed finger.
Suddenly the whole Auror department turned up. They stunned Sirius and tied him up before apparating away to Azkaban with him. A lot of the Aurors stayed in the area to do damage control. They needed to:
- collect evidence.
- Pack away Peter's finger
- Get the witness statements
- Erase the muggles mains
- Make every muggle just believe it was a gas leak explosion.
Underground, in the sewers, a fat black rat with one missing claw was running as fast as he could away from the crime scene.
The next day, Remus finally returned home from his mission. He returned home to find the apartment trashed and Beca/Sirius nowhere to be seen.
"Sirius, are you here? Beca, Moomy's home!
Why did I let Sirius name me that” Remus called out, slowly climbing through the tip. "Sirius I know I was gone a whole month but …. Please Sirius. " No answer. "Sirius please, I'm sorry. I know we left on a bad note but I'm sorry" no answer. "Happy 22nd birthday, Padfoot". Still no answer. "Sirius!"
Suddenly a note appeared in Remus's hand. A note from Mcgonagall.
“ Remus, Sirius has betrayed us all. He told the dark lord where Voldemort was and Voldemort is now dead. I have my goddaughter. I will look after her for a few days while you grieve. I'm here for you”
So in the end, Remus ended up raising the daughter he didn't think it was safe to have. It was just Remus and Beca in an apartment together. Him and Beca with hardly any money as Remus found it hard to keep a job. For the full moon, Beca would be forced to leave Remus's side. Mcgonagall and Dumbledore looked after Beca when it was the full moon to keep her safe. But being pulled away from her moomy couple days a month, every mouth, was having a horrible effect on Beca. Which is why Dumbledore did something. Something that made Remus incredibly angry.
“YOU TAUGHT MY DAUGHTER TO BE AN ILLEGAL ANIMAGUS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?! SHE IS 8, DUMBLEDORE. 8! SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS.”
“It was to help you and Beca, my boy. now she can spend each month with you”
“YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED ME FIRST. SHE COULD HAVE BEEN INJURED OR WORSE KILLED. Come on Beca we are going”
“Am i in trouble, Moomy?”
“No you aren't sweaty. Dumbledore is. Now let's go. Say bye to aunt Minnie”
“Bye Aunt Minnie”
After that Beca started spending the moon with Remus. Beca's form was a dog animagus, she looked just like Sirius.
As Beca got older, She started questioning things. She started questioning her gender. She/her didn't feel right but neither did He/him. Beca wasn't right either. So with the help of Remus, the child researched things and by the child's 11th birthday, the child realised what they were. But that meant..
“Moomy, what if Hogwarts use the wrong name and pronoun? They use Beca on my letter”
“I'll send a letter to Aunt Minnie to inform her and Hogwarts it's Bree and they/them”
