Chapter Text
Hey-O! And Merry early Christmas/Hanukkah!
So, this is my first Christmas themed story ever written, and I decided to make it all about my first posted story. And to anyone who is wondering, yes! This is kinda like a continuation of the first story, but short and sweet, just for the holidays.
To everyone who hasn’t read the first part of the series, I would highly recommend you read it first, since this might be very confusing otherwise.
But if you are rebel and don’t care, or just here for the Christmas vibes, or perhaps it has been a while since you read the first part and don’t feel like going back to it, here’s a quick crash course for the craziness:
Philip Wittebane was the Emperor, but left the castle when Hunter was three years old. The throne was taken by one of his grimwalkers and the Boiling Isles was being ruled over by someone who was after revenge on Philip.
Hunter grew up as a normal child that was loved by Philip and Lilith, and he met Luz in Hexside before the portal was destroyed and Luz was trapped in the Demon Realm. Hunter is a sweetheart that basically weasels his way to everyone’s hearts, and over the course of the story learns to call Lilith ‘mom’. He’s also a childhood friend of The Collector’s and the scar on his face happened when the two of them played ‘Soldier’.
Everything basically happens like in the original series, except that Hunter is on Luz’s side and not the Golden Guard. And Philip ain’t the bad guy.
Also, really the main plot point was that Hunter was the rightful royal and took over as the Emperor.
I decided to post this few days before Christmas/Hanukkah in case there’s someone out there that wants to read the whole story before the cheeriness starts. Or just catch up on the story.
So, for anyone new to the story, I welcome you!🤗 I hope you enjoy it, and hopefully you’ll stick around for the two chapters I’ll post on the 24th and the 25th.
And for everyone who has read the first part and are here for the cheers, I missed you guys!😘 And I wanted to give you a gift of my own. And if you remember my way of writing, you might already know what to expect.
Some laughs, some sobs and the occasional punch to the feels.
But anyway! I hope you’ll have a merry Christmas or happy Hanukkah.
