‘Twas the night before Winter Veil, Jaina Proudmurgle nestled all snug in her chair with a thick book of slimy ghost tales.
The stockings were hung neatly by the chimney in preparation for Greatfather Winter’s arrival.
With a cup of warm bognog, Jaina waited in suspense with visions of fishbone cakes dancing in her head.
Slime drooled down her chin at the thought of that great winter feast.
As Jaina settled in for a long winter read, there came a chatter.
A banshee in the corner, strung up by a rope, wanting to flatter.
Homemade mistletoe stuck to her head, the tape threatening to come loose if Jaina didn’t come soon.
“Flllurlog Mrrrggk!” Gillvanas whistled and shouted.
As Jaina frowned and turned around, Gillvanas’s slimy mouth was drawn up in a bow.
Gillvanas shouted once more, “Mllgggrrrr!”
With a huff and roll of her eyes, Jaina placed her book down to waddle over.
Grabbing Gillvanas’s face on tippy toes, Jaina laid a gooey kiss on her nose.
Swiftly, their slippery tongues swirled together in a slimy passion’s tether until, gasping for air, they’d sever.
Jaina kissed that banshee’s nose once more, then returned to her book, leaving Gillvanas to dangle.
With a bright grin, Jaina heard Gillvanas exclaim, “Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle!”
