Jammingyay: oh shit yeah mb kiri
Unbreakable Red Riot: DW :)
Unbreakable Red Riot: My folks emailed Aizawa and he said it was okay for us to leave campus for Christmas break, you know, ‘cuz the League is gone and all
Hear Me Out: nice!!!
Tenya Iida / Ingenium: I had expected something of this manner, but it is very welcome to have official confirmation. Thank you, Kirishima.
pH of 0 (bitches): is this really the best idea
Uravity: wdym
pH of 0 (bitches): half of our class would probably be recognised as clinically insane by now if not for dadzawa making us look normal
Tenya Iida / Ingenium: Ashido, please refrain from inappropriate comments about both Aizawa-sensei and our classmates!
Uravity: i feel that there’s a point where being appropriate is less important than being right, which she totally is

[Now]
“Remind me how I got dragged into this shit?”
Through the howl of the wind, the vast expanse, the frozen tundra, the essence of winter, all forces were drowned out by nineteen collective groans. Of course Kacchan was still complaining. Izuku knew it was for show, though, as he wouldn’t have come if it meant that much that he stayed.
The temperatures blanketed the region in a pristine layer of snow, and amid the icy landscape, the twenty figures of 2-A, trudged through, their shuddered breath visible in the frigid air as they marched on with their many layers of snow gear.It was definitely a strange sight. Any sane individual would view a trip to the North Pole as too outlandish for even hero students. Yet, here they were, acting as if it was just another day. Izuku loved it.
In the midst of their journey, Izuku’s eyes sparkled with childlike wonder as he pointed towards the horizon. "Can you believe it, guys? We're at the North Pole! It's like a dream come true!"
Kacchan grunted in response. "Deku, we’ve been here for literally hours. Did you just realise where we are?”
Izuku responded with nothing but a pout.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. I get it,” Kacchan continued, “but just make sure you keep up, Deku. I didn't come all the way here to babysit you and Icyhot dancing around each other in the freezing cold, for God’s sake.”
“KACCHAN!”
“Dancing?” Oh no. Shoto heard him. “Is that to preserve body heat, or…?”
The shockwave sent by the class’s collective facepalms probably made rumbles back home in Japan.
Tenya, with his usual sense of order, adjusted his goggles and declared, "Fear not, everyone! I have created a detailed schedule for our North Pole excursion, and I assure you there will be no need for any special preservation techniques. We shall maximise our enjoyment here while maintaining efficiency!"
Ochako giggled at his earnestness, her Kacchan-dubbed round cheeks rosy from the cold. "Iida, you're too much sometimes. But hey, I'm all for having a good time, so we agree on something!"
Shoto, his two-toned hair blending with the snow, observed the group with a subtle smile. "You know, it's peaceful here. I can see why people find solace in the simplicity of the North Pole."
“You sound like Shiozaki, man.” Kaminari’s comment made way for a large array of giggles amongst them all.
As they continued their trek, the friends found themselves in a clearing surrounded by snow-covered evergreen trees. In the heart of this winter wonderland, they gathered around a makeshift campfire.
“Shoto? Would you…” Izuku asked, careful not to overstep. The boy had been far more liberal with use of his fire (the war naturally made it a bigger priority than ever before) but Izuku didn’t want to push his boundaries. It seemed like that was no worry, though, as Shoto took one look at the bundle of sticks before making a flicking gesture at it, with his thumb and middle finger. Beautiful amber flames erupted from his hand, setting the campfire ablaze. It cast a warm glow on the class’s faces as they huddled together for warmth.
Izuku's eyes twinkled with gratitude as he looked at his friends. He knew it was silly, but it was worth being a little open during the holiday season, right?
"You know, with everything we've been through, I can't help but feel thankful for each of you. We've faced villains and had to grow up so much faster than we thought. If we didn’t have each other, who knows how badly things could have gone? But now, here we are, with the war over, and we’re all celebrating Christmas at the North Pole."
Kacchan snorted in his usual fashion but didn't deny the sentiment. "Yeah, yeah, I guess you're right. It's not all bad having you losers around."
Tenya, ever the voice of reason, nodded. "Indeed. Our bond as classmates and friends has been one of our greatest strengths!"
Joining in with the cheerful spirit, Kaminari playfully nudged Jiro. "It's nice to see you crack a proper smile once in a while. Is it too cold for you to keep up the edgy vibe?”
The group soon agreed never to speak of what Jiro did with her jacks after hearing that.

The friends laughed into the night, their camaraderie echoing through the frosty air. As the hours rolled on, they shared stories of their past adventures, hopes for the future, strengthening the unbreakable bond that tied them together. Until the temperature dropped. Harshly. And a distant rumble in the sky signalled the approach of a snowstorm. The once-clear horizon became a blur of swirling white flakes, and the wind picked up its intensity, biting through their layers of winter clothing.
Izuku shivered, pulling his scarf tighter around his neck, as he felt the cold get to him. "Looks like we're in for a rough night.”
Kacchan scowled at the increasing snowfall. "Great, just what we needed. A damn snowstorm! This is why we should have stayed home-"
Tenya checked his schedule, his glasses fogging up with each breath. "Based on the wind patterns, the storm will last for several hours. We need to find a more adequate shelter, fast!"
Ochako glanced around, her eyes scanning the desolate landscape. "How about those trees over there? We could use them as cover."
The group hurried towards the cluster of evergreen trees, their steps quickening as the wind whipped around them. Once beneath the dense branches, they found a small alcove that offered some protection from the elements. Izuku wouldn’t admit it, but the whole thing was quite fun.
Shoto, passively using his Quirk to emit heat, surveyed their surroundings. "This should shield us from the worst of the storm. But we need to stay close for warmth."
The friends huddled together, their bodies forming a tight circle. The snowstorm roared outside, but within the shelter of the trees, the air was thick with a shared heat.
Kacchan grumbled, "I can't believe I'm stuck in this freezing hell with you idiots."
Izuku chuckled, his breath visible in the frigid air. "Well, at least we're stuck together. We've faced worse, right?"
Kirishima grinned. "Yeah, after dealing with a war against world-ending supervillains, I think we can deal with a little cold!"
Tenya, still clutching his schedule like his life depended on it, nodded in agreement. "Precisely. We've overcome challenges before, and we will overcome this one as well."
Shoto held out his arm in front of his chest. At first, Izuku thought he was going to use his ice to create a small barrier against the wind, but then he turned to Izuku and asked “Have you got anything in mind?”
Oh. Shoto wanted him to help out.
"Well, we’ve conserved our energy and body heat, so the only thing we could really do is find a way to slow down the storm-”
Of course. Izuku hadn’t done this in a while, but now seemed like a good time to utilise one of his auxiliary Quirks.
“Second… Gearshift!”
Izuku’s body lit up with a thin blue glow, the bullets of snow doing the same. Izuku reached deep into his mind and imagined the storm coming to a complete…
STOP.
The snow froze in place, held in stasis by Gearshift. While Izuku strained to keep it up, he glimpsed Yaoyorozu creating a large brown tent. Once it was complete, Izuku dropped the Quirk and let himself follow his friends into the shelter. They continued sharing stories and laughter to distract themselves from the biting cold. Kacchan, despite his gruff exterior, found himself chuckling along with the rest (Izuku knew he would!)
*
Eventually, the storm subsided, leaving behind a serene, snow-covered landscape. The class emerged from their makeshift shelter, with Izuku knowing that the North Pole had certainly tested them a lot so far. As they resumed their journey, the echoes of laughter and shared warmth lingered in the cold, crisp air.
With the snowstorm behind them, the gang trudged through the glistening snow towards their ultimate destination - the North Pole itself. The iconic marker stood tall and proud, surrounded by a landscape untouched by humanity for centuries. The rise of Quirks had led endeavours such as Arctic travel to drop in priority, after all.
As the twenty of them gathered, Izuku couldn't contain his excitement. "We made it! Can you believe it? The actual North Pole!"
Kacchan smirked, a rare hint of visible satisfaction in his expression. "Guess this trip wasn't a total waste of time after all."
Tenya still maintaining a sense of formality, adjusted his goggles and declared, "Our journey to the North Pole is a testament to our resilience and teamwork. A memorable experience indeed!"
Ashido laughed, her breath forming small clouds in the chilly air. "I never thought we’d actually do this when I joked about it,” cue Ochako and Kaminari’s giggles, “but I wouldn't have it any other way."
Shoto allowed his eyes to scan the vast landscape, and added, "It's a unique way to end the year. I'm glad we did this together."
In a moment of unity, they gathered around the North Pole marker, the symbol of their achievement. Izuku took out his phone and suggested, "Let's take a picture to remember this moment."
With smiles and poses, and an effort to make Kacchan look halfway presentable, they immortalised the occasion with a group photo, capturing the essence of their friendship against the Arctic backdrop. Then, with a sense of mischief, Ochako suggested, "Why not share this with Aizawa-sensei? He'll never believe we made it here."
The gang gathered around Izuku's phone as he dialled Aizawa's number. The tired voice of their homeroom teacher crackled through the video call, his dishevelled appearance confirming that he was indeed on his own winter holiday.
"What do you want, brats?" Aizawa grumbled.
Midoriya grinned, holding the phone to show the North Pole marker. "Hey, Aizawa-sensei! Look where we are!"
Aizawa squinted at the screen, disbelief etched on his face. "Why on Earth-”
Bakugo leaned into the camera. "Because we can! You got a problem with th-”
The phone was abruptly swept away, with the wind drowning out the sound of Iida protesting “Bakugo, you must NOT disrespect our sensei like that!”
Aizawa sighed, his fatigue momentarily replaced by a flicker of amusement. "At least I know that’s the real you, Bakugo. You know, I heard Todoroki mention something like this, but I thought he was joking.”
Tsu bent herself to be in view of the camera. “Sensei, during our time here, ribbit, have you ever heard Todoroki make a joke?”
A chorus of laughter, even from Aizawa.
“You kids are unbelievable. Just don't freeze to death up there. And get back to training when you return, hellions.”
The friends chorused promises to do so, their laughter ringing through the video call.
“Oh, and Ashido?”
“Y-yes, sensei?”
“Don’t tell Mic that this was your idea.”
“How did you know it was me?!”
Aizawa didn’t dignify that with an answer as the connection ended. Holding back further giggles, the group looked at each other with a shared sense of accomplishment.
"Well, that was unexpected," Shoto mused.
Izuku nodded. “Unexpected” was certainly a word that described it, even if not his personal choice.
With the North Pole behind them and the memories of their Christmas adventure embedded in their hearts, Class A began their trek back, stronger and more connected than ever. The snow crunched beneath their boots, and the Northern Lights painted the sky in vibrant hues - a fitting backdrop to the end of a journey that had tested their bonds and deepened their friendship.
