Kure was in the elevator with a classmate from her class, his name was Wei Qi although his name wasn't Japanese, Kure was very accepting cause she comes from a family who are accepting of others.
Wei Qi was avoided by many others cause he looks different and his name isn't associated with Hoenn. Only two boys named Yukichika and Tsubasa and Kure were more interested and accepting of Wei Qi.
Kure has more male friends than female friends cause she is very popular in her school and many boys wanted to befriend her rather than asking her out.
Kure was unsure why: Do they want to join Team Sand in the future or, are they doing this to gain her parent who are co-leader's trust?
There are many girls who ask Kure questions about Team Sand and some asked if they can join Team Sand in the future. Even some wanted to be her friend.
Kure, a pansexual girl who has two parents who were once enemies to a married couple becoming co-leaders of Team Sand.
Anyways, Kure and Wei Qi looked directly at each other and smiled before they both looked away and flustered.
Both had a crush on each other except, Kure had a crush on him first before Wei had a crush on Kure.
They have known each other since they were very young. Kure's parent were kind enough to befriend Wei's parents ever since Wei's parent had moved to Hoenn because according to Wei's dad: He wants to wash away the memories that made him fear to have a family in the same region.
Suddenly, the elevator stopped causing both Kure and Wei Qi to panic on the inside.
Wei Qi pressed on the emergency button as it answered "What happened?" The button questioned "The elevator stopped working!" Wei responded "Kure and I don't want our parents to overworry or not let us walk on our own ever again!" He added "Don't worry, help is on the way." The button mitigated.
"HeLp Is On ThE wAy!" Kure mimicked and Wei laughed out loud "More like the rescuers would take a shitty hour to come and rescue us or, the elevator would need a lot of fixing time!" Kure disagrees "Yeah!" Wei agrees.
It been like 19 minutes and the rescuers still didn't come, Kure sat on the floor while Wei is on the corner looking at his watch and huffing. "We should of took the stairs." Wei outlined "At least the stairs is slightly a less of a problem than the elevator." Kure agrees.
Wei furrowed his eyebrows and grumbled "I'm losing trust in both the elevator and the rescuers!" Kure hugged her legs as she allows her bag to fall into the ground, Wei placed his bag on the ground and sat down with his legs stretching out and folding his arms.
23 minutes later and the rescuers still haven't came to fix the elevator or rescue these poor middle school students. Both Kure and Wei Qi's belly rumbled "It's been like 20 minutes and I'm hungry." Wei whined "I regret not bringing extra food with me." Kure mumbled.
"Oh wait!" Wei shouted which startled Kure who is holding on to her hungry stomach. Wei reaches for his bag and took out four bento, 5 bottle of green tea, 8 pack of Hi-Chew with different flavours, 2 sodas, 4 container of watermelons, lots of chopsticks, a lot of plastic forks, knife, spoon and 5 box of Chocolate cake. Kure was surprised with the amount of food and equipment he carries in his bag.
"Let's eat!" He invited Kure over. Kure shifted towards Wei Qi and got brought her bag with her, both Wei and Kure ate the food peacefully "I didn't know you could carry that much food with you. Your definitely gonna be the most generous person in Hoenn!" Kure applaud with a small touch of blush on her face. Wei flustered and looked away "By the way, I have something to say Wei!" Kure announced Wei glanced at Kure's face and replied "What is it?" raising an eyebrow.
"I-I love you....." Kure confessed as her face turned red as a tomato Wei's emeraled eyes sparkled like the stars at night time, he smiled and replied "I love you too!" Kure's sapphire and ruby eyes sparkled as she placed her bento and chopsticks on the ground and gently hugged Wei Qi.
Wei accepted the hug by smiling, Kure looked at him with a smile and questioned "How did you get that many food in your bag?" "Well.... My dad works at a homeless chairty while, my mom works in an office and I barely spend time with her." Wei answered "So when my dad gives me food and all that I give them to people who are in poverty, or they are vulnerable, ir they are homeless and they need something to eat and drink so that they could survive. Sometimes my dad gives me clothes so that I could give it to the poor people." He added.
Kure frowned and questioned "What about your mom?" "My mom is in an office with a toxic working condition so, I barely see her but she will be promoted to be a manager with her promise of making the working condition a lot healthier." Wei answered "Did you see your mom during your childhood?" Kure questioned "Let's finish our food before I answer your questions." Wei planned Kure smiled and agreed with Wei.
After finishing their food, Kure asked him a question about seeing his mom during his childhood "Well, I manage to spend time with my mom until I"m 10 years old when my mom finds a job at an office, she would only spend time with me on the weekends. I spend most of my time with my dad, his pokemons, and my mom's former Pokemons during the weekdays." Wei answered.
"Do you have Pokémons?" Kure asked Wei nodded and took out his Quick ball and threw it in the air and Magneton came out of their quick ball "Nice!" Kure praises with a smile "Thanks!" Wei replied with a blush and a big grin on his face.
Kure threw her two pokéball up in the air and Numel and Carvanha came out of their pokéballs "Wow! These guys are awesome!" Wei adulated "Thanks! My parents gave them to me. They debated on wheather I should have Numel or Carvanha but, I chose both instead to make it fair." Kure responded.
They played with each others Pokémons and talked about their life until the elevator finally works again. "Finally! The elevator worked again aftsr like 2 and an half hour of being stuck inside a god damn elevator!" Wei cheered "Next time, we'll never rely on that stupid elevator ever again." Kure proclaimed "Yep!" Wei agrees nodding his head and crossing his arms.
The elevator arrived on the ground floor. As the elevator door compeletly opens the first person to come into the elevator was Kure's mom, Maxie who was worried sick about Kure's absence.
Maxie rubbed her face on Kure's shoulder and cried, Archie came to comfort Maxie while Wei's dad came and hugged his son. Wei raised an eyebrow and asked "Where's mom?" "She's coming home tomorrow." Wei's dad replied.
After the incident, both Kure and Wei announced their families that they are now dating and went home.
