Throughout his journey in college life, that we could said almost reach the final chapter. Jude Bellingham started to found some phases that he can sorted out of it.
Like the freshman phase during his first year. The time when he could deliberately said something like “Woah, I can’t wait to meet this lecturer.” to something like “Ah, I wasn’t expected that college was this complex.” Yes, there’s a time where he was full of enthusiasm and months apart he’ll desperately crying over a non-stop tasks that start pile up and made him suffering from the lack time of sleep.
Then going to the second year, remarked as the time when he started said it out loud for something like “I need more sleep.” It continue to the third year, the complaint goes up one level to ”I need more holiday.”
Now, he is in his last year.
“Hmmm….”
He is resting his chin on his left hand while ignoring the existence of a delicious cheese burger which he just ordered not that long ago. Because surprisingly, the pedestrians in front of that junk food resto are more interesting to look at – well for some reasons of course.
It’s not like someone whose sitting across him – looks like that someone was so into with his own world (re: laptop) – didn’t took his attention. It’s just, Jude is thinking. Thinking about something that he could pursue to killed the saturated of his repetitive routine, or just anything else. But no one expected, no one expected something that come out from his mouth the next second is something that NASA couldn’t even predicted it.
“Hey,” he locked his eyes to his prey. He is sitting straight – not resting his chin anymore.
“How about we marry next week?”
And that lucky prey who receive that question is Pablo Gavi. His boyfriend.
“Jude, why are you always giving me surprise?”

There are times when Gavi is aware with the age of his relationship with that English man, Jude Bellingham. Three years had been passed since the first time Gavi choose to plunge into the world of law major and Jude choosing his own way by taking machine engineering major.
Then, there’s also times where Gavi often teasing his Jude with some jokes that have hidden code and double meanings. Like something he did today. He was going home after college. He took a busway, there’s a pair of mother and son that take their seat in front of him.
A boy, so adorable with his still imperfect way of speaking, the age where they will learn everything from adults around them. Gavi guess his age doesn’t even reach 5 years old. Perhaps, he could only count from 1 to 10. Gavi can’t take his eyes off from the boy that was sitting sideways while swaying his little feet.
Then for fun, Gavi sent a message to Jude that now staying in their house.
Me
Hey
A reply comes a minute apart.
Mi Amor
Why? Missed me?
Me
Too much confident
Mi Amor
More precisely I’ve always had a big heart, especially my heart for you
Me
Good try, I won’t fall for that kind of shit
Mi Amor
Let me guess, your cheeks are burning right now
Me
Whatever Judy
Anyways, there’s a kid in the bus, a boy. He looks so adorable.
Mi Amor
If he is adorable, then take him home
Me
He is with his parent, dumbass
Gavi stopped typing for a reply. He put his phone back to his pocket. It wasn’t something unreasonable, because right before that, Jude replied to him with something that made Gavi’s heart got tickled.
Mi Amor
Hm, okay. Do not try to kidnap that kid okay? Later tonight we’ll made it by ourselves.

There’s a time during their second year in college, Jude and Gavi were hit by a cold war. It was started when Jude received some bird news about Gavi’s ex that already started his attacking startegies towards their relationship. The evidence was there, in a random afternoon Jude was caught them talking and giggling with each other like a pair of lovebirds in front of the court buildings. They’ve clarified it too though, it was for their project where’s Gavi and his ex end up in the same group project for doing field study to the court and both of them were given trust by the other members to do the observations.
It's crazy how Jude had planned to hunt Gavi’s classmates after this.
But still Jude doesn’t get mad right afterway.
The next day, he just suddenly approached Gavi that was getting ready to enter his next class. When that boy almost reached the door, Jude tripping him with one foot. It cause the victim got shocked and almost tripped himself while trying his best to not dropped a pile of books in his embraces.
“What are you on?” Gavi asked with his furrowed eyebrows.
Jude replied calmly, “I’ll join your class.”
He walked in with his innocent face – don’t know if it was innocent face or just shameless acts. Gavi just wasted his time for a long period because of Jude’s surprising behavior once again. He was late to stop whatever Jude try to do in his class because his boyfriend had climb the stairs to the back of the class. Third row from the furthest seat.
Like it or not, Gavi took a seat beside that bastard. “What the hell are you trying to do?” he whispered, half embarrassed because his classmates couldn’t stop stealing glances to his side. Well, isn’t that strange seeing an engineering student attending a law class? It is!
“I’m just trying new atmosphere, you know it so well that engineering faculty is lack of pretty girls right?”
Gavi couldn’t believe his ears, what did Jude said? He really tried to test something, huh. Something like his patience.
“Stop all this nonsense acts or whatever you try to do. Let’s leave –“
“Oh, the lecturer has arrived!”
Gavi swearing inside. What was his boyfriend want, he didn’t know. But one thing for sure, if Jude get kick out from this class disrespectfully, he refused to be involved in any problems that he’ll caused by his unresponsible act and won’t defend him with a single word.
The class has been running for thirty minutes. Gavi genuinely paying his full attention to the lecturer while taking some notes about criminal law. He made a whole resume from the lecturer and some also from the books he brought.
In the other side, Jude looks hella bored while sometimes knocking the table with his fingers.
“Four,” he said it suddenly.
Gavi responded fast, “Four what?”
“Four different men I’ve been caught keep staring or stealing glances at you silently. Including your ex.”
“You just saw it wrong.”
“I was aware with the situation, Gavi. Unlike you.”
Suddenly, Gavi realized something. He put down his pen on the book, he turned his face to Jude’s side. While tilting his head and leaned it on his left hand.
He smiled wittily, “So, you joined my class because you’re jealous with my classmates?”
“It’s my duty to protect what I have now.” Jude answering his question, without looking back at Gavi completely. He is still mad.
“Aww, how sweet you are.” Gavi teased him.
“I just don’t like the fact your ex tried to make a move again.”
Okay, okay. Gavi start to understand the situation now. It must be that incident, wheres Gavi need to work with his ex yesterday. He just know that Jude was kind of protective too.
“Even trash will get throw away, what makes you think I’ll keep an ex-lover?” Gavi asked.
“Well, I’ve moved on too. He was my past but here you are.”
“There’s no concrete evidence, Gavira.”
“Listen, move on doesn’t mean you should pretend you didn’t saw them when you met you ex. But, when he greets you and your heart doesn’t get fluttered anymore, that’s it, you’ve move on from that ex. Guess? I did it.”
“…”
“After all, my heart now has been locked by an English man named Jude Bellingham though.”
Enough, Jude give up. How can he holds the hostile with his boyfriend that long? Especially with something he saw inside those big brown eyes of Gavi when he said that he is Jude’s after all, no others had a chance to take him away from Jude. What makes Jude had a doubt? Eventhough it was a lie too, it still made Jude falling in love again and again to the Andalusian.
“Gavi, I –“
“You are the one there.”
Jude was proceed to say something but he froze for a moment when the lecturer’s pointed his finger straight to his way.
“Yes? M-me?”
“Yes, I’ve never saw you before. You must be that kind of student whose rarely present in class. You better have a good explanation for it.”
Jude glances to his boyfriend and – fuck it, that boy gigging by himself behind that thick book he used to covered half of his face. For the first time in his life, Jude was regretting himself for not given by God a talent to make up a reason in an emergency situation.
And make him got kicked out from the class disrespectfully.

For some people, celebrating Christmas means a quality time to gathered the whole family.
Decorating the house, put a star on the top of Christmas tree, exchange presents, gathering and talking in the furnace while enjoying a hot chocolate and many other things. But sometimes, there’s also people that doesn’t really have that kind of enthusiasm and choose to ignore it. For them, the only things that matter is making money as much as possible or maybe they were stuck in a complex situation.
But, both Jude and Gavi weren’t stuck in any of those kind of situations.
During this year winter holiday they take the advantage of it to share it with each other. Nothing special in the night of December 25th or Christmas Eve. Jude and Gavi just spend their time by sitting on their balcony floor, covered by a thick blanket. It’s not like Gavi didn’t want to spend his Christmas with his own family, the same way as Jude. But for now, it’s enough with just the two of them.
Because they depend on each other as a place to go home and a place where you can go home is another definition of family itself. Jude and Gavi have been built their own family harmony at the place where they lived with each other now.
“It’s cold, right?” Jude asked for agreement.
Gavi that sit on his lap reached Jude’s head and push it mercilessly. “Of course, dumbass.”
Ahh, Gavi. How can he didn’t aware that Jude was tried to flirt with him while stole a chance for maybe – ehm something warmer.
“If it’s cold then tighten your hug to me.” Gavi said it finally.
Jude grinning widely, he can’t hide his happiness, it reached from ear to ear.
“Em… Gavi, my lips also freezing.”
“Want me to heat it with the stove?”
“No, thank you. It gets warmer already.”
Silence again. Both of them choose to enjoyed the snow that had started falling since this evening from the darkness of the sky above. The temperature outside is very low, some people might be prefer to enjoy the first snow from their house windows instead of staying outside. But Jude and Gavi liked it this way. The colder it gets, the more they tried to made their own warmness.
The more Jude seeking for oppurtunities to touches – harassing – Gavi’s body that stuck on his lap with his hands.
“Ugh, I feel sore, let’s change the position, darl.” Jude asked.
Gavi correcting his sitting position that was on Jude’s lap while backing him, now he move to sat on his boyfriend’s left thigh while sitting sideways. Face to face with Jude now.
“Hey,” Jude called him.
“I have name.”
“Hey, my future.”
Gavi closed his face with both of his palms. “Stop that please, I’ve had enough.”
“I’m not kidding you know, just hoping that God could hear it and grand my wish.”
Gavi didn’t responded it. He just staring back at Jude in wonder, because Jude also didn’t stop staring intensely at him without even blinking.
“Is there something in my face?” Gavi asked, it wasn’t funny anymore because he is worried Jude was get paused by God. How can he didn’t blinked even once?
“Ahh, yes. Wait a second.” Jude caressing Gavi’s cheeks with his cold fingers and rubbed it softly after.
“I thought there’s something, but turns out it’s just you look so pretty tonight.”
This time. Gavi couldn’t hold himself to hit that English man’s shoulder a little bit harder. “Stop teasing meee!”
“Hehehehe…”
Gavi pouting his lips and glare at Jude, “So, are you regretting the fact I was born as a boy?”
“Huh, who says that?”
Gavi turned his face to the other side with his sulky face. “Because you’ve always said that I’m pretty. I’m still a man if you forgot about it.”
“But Gavi, you’re really pretty. You are prettier than any victoria’s secret models.”
Gavi rolled his eyes. “Seriously? Can you stop this nonsense?”
Jude doesn’t answer it right away. This time he brings his face closer to Gavi, exchange his breath with Gavi and caressing their noses against one another. “Did you really thought all of the things I’ve just said were only nonsense, hm? If I said that I love you right now, are you gonna think it’s just a joke?”
“Depends.” Gavi pushed away Jude’s handsome face. “For today case, I think you’ve just tried to flirt with me.” He continued while sticking his tongue out to Jude.
Jude smiling, he got caught.
“Okay okay. But however, you didn’t have any choices. So, give it to me now.”
“Ugh, how coercive you can be.”
Then Jude pulling Gavi’s chin with his fingers – that we could said fairly kind of rough – but for a moment could be very soft, just for Gavi. He brings that pretty face closer until it hards to tell if there’s any gap between their faces and their collide breath. The taller one doesn’t hold himself anymore. He brings that plumpy lips that have been teased him since the first time he laid his eyes on it, the taste always feels intoxicating for him. Jude couldn’t get enough of it.
Gavi’s hands were taking it owns journey to the backside of Jude’s neck, he tried to found his own grip, tried to found himself refusing any possibility thought that Jude might leave him in future. Eventhough so, he knows Jude won’t ever let him go, even if it’s just one milimeters away from him. Because Gavi is Jude’s pride, Jude’s reason to breath, and everything including Gavi as the completion of his lust.
Both of their lips were dead cold before, because of the low temperature. But taking a look at it now, looks like their make out session turned that things hotter than a fire that devours a wood. Even so, it looks like Jude didn’t had any intended to stopped the kiss and Gavi just following his game.
The night might be quiet, but the nature always had their own songs that become a beautiful background music for every moments on this earth. Even if it’s just the sound of rustling winds, the twig friction or just a sound of snow falling to earth.
The snow that falling from a dark sky.

Gavi was ever jealous to Jude. A blind jealousy.
Gavi has a responsibility to take care of their household including cleaning stuffs, cooking the meal and any other household related jobs. It was their laundry day. Gavi had a special habit where he always checking Jude’s clothes a little too careful.
Until one day, he found himself get super irritated and mad over one of Jude’s clothes that almost he put on their washing machine. Because, it was caught by those big brown eyes, it’s just a basic plain baby blue shirt. But the buttons, half of the buttons were disappeared.
That innocent baby blue shirt has failed to make it ways to the washing machine and forcefully got delayed on the laundry basket. Gavi will wait until Jude arrived from his class and showed this big evidence so his boyfriend couldn’t argue and give any reasons anymore.
Gavi’s strong accusation is Jude was cheating on him.
Until evening, Jude has arrived in their apartment door. He get shocked a little bit when he found Gavi was standing behind that door with his sulky face. Oh God, what just happened? Why his wife looks so irritated?
Gavi was pouting his lips a little bit too much with his hands crossing on his chest, he is mad mad. Even without any clear explanation, Jude understands there’s something wrong here.
“I didn’t get my welcome hugs or kisses?” Jude asked trying to melt the bad atmosphere. Gavi throw his face away. Okay, it doesn’t work. Realize it doesn’t work, Jude knew he need to stop pretends he didn’t know something just ruined his wife’s mood.
“What happened?”
“You think?” Gavi attacked.
Jude gulped his saliva hard, he need to calm this chihuahua.
“I wouldn’t know it if you didn’t tell me.” Jude replied while trying to cut his distance between him and Gavi by walking to the side of his little boyfriend.
“Huh.” Gavi snorted sarcastically, still throw his face away from Jude. He stretched his hand to showed Jude the baby blue shirt that had been hid behind his back.
“You’ve cheated on me with someone else, right?” Gavi asking with fiery tone.
Jude taking that shirt from Gavi’s hand and start checking it by himself. He doesn’t understand it.What’s wrong with this shirt? What was the correlation between this shirt and how he is cheating on Gavi?
“If you’re bored with me, said it. Do not be like this and cheated on me behind my back!”
Jude become more confused than he was before. Cheating? To be fucking honest, he doesn’t even know that word anymore since he is officially in love with someone named Pablo Martin Paez Gavira or well known as Pablo Gavi. And that’s a long time ago.
So Jude decides to found the truth by himself. He revealed that shirt in front of himself and Gavi and start scanning it. Up down, front and back. Nothing weird, there’s no lipstick stain or something. Except half of the buttons were off.
“Half of your shirt’s buttons were disappeared. Which whore you cheated on in a nightclub, huh?”
Oh, that’s why.
“Wait,”
“I didn’t have that much patience, Jude.”
Seeing Gavi jealous and mad in the same time made Jude almost couldn’t hold his own laugh, if just he didn’t aware of the situation. Seriously, his boyfriend is really innocent.
“Gavi.”
“WHAT AGAIN?” this time Gavi looked at him while screaming loudly. Gavi is getting more sulky meanwhile Jude is getting more excited.
So, to neutraling his own brain and the situation, Jude taking a step forward and presenting a kiss on his boyfriend’s temple while side-hugging the love of his life. “Looks like someone forgetting something.”
“Huh? Forget about –“
One kiss again from Jude, this time on Gavi’s lips. Gavi is getting more sullen but also confused at the same time. He is angry now, and how can Jude reacting to it as relaxed as now?
“Are you really forget about it? This is the same shirt that I’ve used it two days ago.”
Gavi squinting his eyes. Two days ago that means…
“Two days ago. When we’re going home from the party in Fermin’s house, once we arrived here, suddenly you asked for it first.”
Gavi’s memory was drawn to the events that happened two days ago. Yes, he was going back from Fermin’s house party at half-conscious condition – he was drunk heavily that day, the only thing he remembered he saw a glance of blue shirt, their room that were dimly lit and… white.
He didn’t remember anything after that.
But wait… do not even… did Jude try to said that ‘half of that blue shirt’s buttons disappeared’ was his own action?
As if he can read Gavi’s mind, Jude answered. “Yes, since you asked it first. So, we spend some rounds.”
“Oh my God!”
Gavi almost lost his mind, he shouted hysterically. Jude could only nodded his head several times in the back, now he remember it.
Gavi cupped his own cheeks that getting hotter. So… it was him? It was his own action? He was the culprit? Where the fuck he could put his pretty face after this?
This is embarrassing!
So fuckin embarrassing. It was added when Jude walking closely to him and started whispering to his ear while grinning widely.
“Gavi was so wild that night. But guess, I liked it.”
(Sexto)
Gavi had ever found Jude was keep flirting with him the whole day. He flirts like an alpha in their rut or something. He started getting scared.
“Bebe you know, whenever I saw your smile, it feels like I just eat a watermelon on a very hot day.”
They were sitting – with just the two of them – on a bench under an oak tree. The weather was very hot, but they managed to found a shelter space under that tree, just to relaxed a bit. Because it won’t take that much time, only around 15 minutes until the next class start again.
Gavi whose busy marking some materials from his book with his highlighter – preparing it for the next class – need to stop his activity for a while and turns his attention to his boyfriend that leaned in his back to the bench they were sitting on.
“Huh?”
“Seeing your smile feels like eating a watermelon on a ver hot day. It’s so fresh.” Jude said it while closing his eyes with his head moving to the right and left alternately. Acting like he was listening to some romantic musics while supported by a sunny weather and the cool air. In fact, the reality was complete opposite.
“Are you possessed?” Gavi asked in amused.
“I’ve possessed with your love.”
Gavi frowned. Instead of romantic, Jude looks scary for now.
It started this morning. After both of them locked their apartment door to go together. Throughout their way to the campus, Jude can’t stop talking – or mumbling – about how genuinely pretty Gavi’s smile was. Or how Gavi’s today outfit looks so good on him. Or about Gavi’s new haircut that looks so cool (Gavi was getting his haircut last week and Jude knew it so well).
“Hmm,” Gavi tilted his head and thinks hard. “As long as I remember, our anniversary day has already passed.”
“Come on bebe, was it prohibited, I just wan to praise my own boyfriend?”
“As long as you didn’t hide something from me, that’s okay.” Gavi shrugged his shoulders. Jude sat closer to Gavi and suddenly grabbed Gavi’s waist to pull him closer to his side.
“I have nothing to hide, hehe.” His smile was calming. “Oh anyways, later after our last class let’s go shopping first, okay?”
“Aren’t we just shopping our monthly stock last week?”
“You didn’t want to buy any of that rare beauty new products or adidas newest shoes collection?”
Gavi’s eyes were sparkling with excitement like a whole galaxy, or disco lamp, or whatever it was. One thing for sure he won’t turn down his boyfriend’s offer – that usually will whine to him about his monthly purchase (cosmetics and new shoes) outside of their household needs.
“Ay ay, mi capitan!”
Until the afternoon has arrived. They really go shopping in a mall. Gavi has packed two shopping bags with him that unfortunately ended up in Jude’s hands meanwhile the culprit is still busy picking and tried some new rare beauty products in the sephora store. It’s a rare view, seeing Jude doesn’t shook his head or sighing over Gavi’s impulsive purchase.
Meanwhile Gavi is still drown in his own world, Jude whispered to Gavi to permitted himself going to the nearest toilet and he’ll be back soon. Gavi wasn’t even turned his head to look at Jude and just nodding carelessly. The only thing he need to make sure is Jude need to be here when he need to paid all of his spend.
Doesn’t take a long time, Jude finally walking back to that sephora while bringing a new shopping bag. Gavi look at it in confused, “What are you buying?”
“Oh, this? Just some equipment.” Gavi stole a glance and he saw some toothbrush, toothpaste, and other toiletries.
As long as he remembered it, their toiletries were still good. But whatever, maybe Jude just want to added some stock. He choose to doesn’t thinking further about it because he’d been bribed by Jude with the newest adidas shoes collection and rare beauty. It’s enough – more than enough honestly.
Before they choose to went home, Jude was offering Gavi to bought some clothes too when they walk passed some branded clothes stores. With so much pleasure, Jude willingly bought it for him. But Gavi refused it and asked Jude to saved his money for their wedding needs later.
As if Jude didn’t spend his saving already today.
“Are you tired?” Jude asking once they arrived home. Gavi eventually take a seat on their living room sofa with his legs crossed and his head leaned on the hand of that sofa. Jude following beside him.
Gavi just nodded as the respond.
“Want me to give you a massage?” Jude asked again with his generous smile. Coincidentally, Gavi did feel sore in his shoulders, so he didn’t refuse.
“Ahh… Yeshh…” Gavi was enjoying the massage Jude gives on his shoulders. He started to think maybe Jude will be fitted working as a masseus in the future. What a plot twist.
“Haaa… I feel like I was on my birthday today.” Gavi mumbling still with his eyes closed. “I just hope you didn’t have any hidden intended for all of this special treatment, yeah.”
“That one, hehe…”
Suddenly Gavi aware that there’s a smell of something fishy here. Jude’s laugh was too awkward to be just a normal laugh in his ears. And he needs to know what was the meaning of ‘That one’ words that just coming out from Jude’s mouth.
“You cheated on me?” Gavi suddenly turned his head around to Jude.
It made Jude a little bit get startled and raised both his hands in despair. “No, genuinely no.”
Gavi frowned his eyebrows and his stare to Jude getting sharper. “Then what?”
Silence for a solid 10 seconds while Jude can even keep the eye contact between them.
“WHAT?” Gavi snapped.
“Eh, yeah, yes that ugh…”
Jude scratched his neck and lower his gaze. “So and so is actually… so…”
“SO WHAT? TALKS PROPERLY!” Gavi is so grumpy, thankfully Jude loves him so much.
“Actually i…”
“Did your tounge got sprained or something? If you can’t talk, just do not talk at all.”
“Please promise you won’t get mad after this?”
“Yeah, I promised.” Gavi was absurdly curious about it so he just said yes without thinking further.
“This morning I accidentally dropped your tootbrush in the toilet but when I was about to tell you, you had already used it.”
Jude said it in one breath while closing his eyes. He was so ready to be sprayed.
Okay.
Gavi wasn’t mad. Totally. Not. Get. Mad. It’s just the aura that coming out behind his back was very dense already. Denser than a smoke from illegal forest burning. And through his subconscious, Jude had received a whisper that he had to immediately escape from that place or not at all.
“Said it Jude Victor William Bellingham. After this… where should I bury you dead body?”
(Quinto)
Early on their second year. When the time Jude was bored because he need to keep picked up and dropped off Gavi by his house with his own car. Gavi wasn’t oblige him to do so. It’s just Jude made up a reason that it’s part of his loyalty. For the sake of Gavi’s safety too, of course. Just had to make sure Gavi wasn’t get disturbed by some unresponsible people or taken by other people. So Jude declaring himself that he can be Gavi’s private driver.
But of course, boredom isn’t an easy thing to get rid of.
Moreover, Jude started to count his expenses that soared up just to fill on petrol to his car. Because fortunately Gavi’s house was kind of far from his own house and their college. He got dilemma. He want to stop picking up and dropping off Gavi, but he was also too scared to let Gavi going around just by himself. Because if he calculated it, Gavi is his biggest asset which even more precious than all of his wealth.
“I’m okay Jude, you didn’t need to keep picking me up and dropping me off everyday. I could take a train.”
Gavi was kind enough to offer a solution if Jude really wanted to give up. That wasn’t unreasonable. The Sevillan said that after he saw by his own eyes how his boyfriend looked gloomy everytime he opened his own wallet.
“Your house is too far, it would be dangerous if I leave you alone. Moreover, you often went home late.” Jude thought Gavi’s opinion wasn’t a good solution for their situation now.
“Are you forgot? I have a black belt in Karate.” Gavi showed his muscular arms. Looks promising but no, Jude still can’t let it happened.
“You had one but not mastering it.”
“Who says that? Want me to practice it?”
“Later on the bed.”
Gavi clenched his jaw. Jude is hard to talk to when he’s seriously thinking about something. A split seconds later…
“Hey, I think I have an idea.” Jude said it with sparkling eyes as if he had just been inspired.
“What if we rent an apartment?”
Gavi tapped his point finger on his chin. To be honest, Jude’s solution is kind of worth to try. Just, as long as Gavi knows, the cost to rent an apartment around their college’s area was too expensive, wasn’t it? For Jude, it might be not a big problem. But for Gavi himself that need to save his money, it’s not even a choice at all.
“I think no… the rent cost is way too expensive for me.” said Gavi at the end.
But it seems like Jude already predicted it, that his boyfriend will responded it that way. So took position right in front of Gavi while cupped both his hands to Gavi’s face until his boyfriend looks like a duckling.
“One apartment for the two of us. So, we could reduce the costs.”
“Huh?”
“Hehoh,” Jude let go of his hands. “How was that?”
Gavi doesn’t give the answer right away.
“If you do the math, we could also learn to manage our own household. Didn’t we also need to learn living by ourselves without depend it on our parents? If you worried about the income, we could take a part time job around the college. There’s so many part time there.”
“Hm, okay, I’ll consider it again later.”
But Jude isn’t the waiting type. That afternoon, he packed all of Gavi’s things from his house to placed it in their new apartment. Gavi couldn’t refused it.
Because Jude isn’t someone he could refused.
(Cuatro)
Jude and Gavi often argue and bickering with each other. That’s pretty normal though. Sometimes the problem is kind of trivial. It can be something about outfits, hobbies even meals. The most frequently, it happens during their first year into the relationship.
“I couldn’t understand where’s the delicious part of strawberry ice cream.” Jude commented while still focused driving along the way. Beside him, Gavi was enjoying his strawberry ice cream stick which he just bought in a supermarket a few minutes ago.
That afternoon, like usual Jude was dropping Gavi off to his house. Because he had been declared himself to protected Gavi at all costs, life or death, just as long as Gavi didn’t get hurts. Like what was Gavi’s sister ordered to him and he also made a promise to try his best fulfilling it.
“It’s so tasty. You need to try it once. Want it? I still have one.” Gavi offered.
“No, I’m driving though. I prefer banana’s flavor.” He refused.
Gavi snorted. “What’s so good about Bananas?”
Jude glanced at him for a moment then chuckled. “You doubted your own boyfriend’s taste?”
There was a brief pause before Jude started their conversation again. “You liked strawberry, just like a woman.”
“Did liking banana made you become more manly?” Gavi rolled his eyes. Come on, it’s just about personal taste. Jude didn’t need to become that defensive – looks like Gavi didn’t realize that Jude wasn’t the only one that become defensive here.
They continue to argue about the recent problem. Gavi bringing up about an article that said strawberry can make you live longer and Jude responded with “What kind of article was that?”
Also Jude made up his own tale by using Darwin Theory that said humans come from a species similar to monkeys, that’s why banana is one of the most important meal. And Gavi will snatch him with something like, “Jude, you created your own theory.”
Until Gavi declared it by himself that he didn’t like banana. Same goes to Jude that said he didn’t like strawberry.
They went silence for a moment. Took a long time until Gavi finally burst out laughing. An amused laugh. Jude, who glanced at him for a moment, was also can’t hold his own laugh.
“How ridiculous that was. We argue about this, but in fact it was complete opposite.”
It seems like Jude understands what Gavi means. Or maybe they indeed gifted with telepathic abilities after dated each other. Which allows them to understands something that other people would never got it.
“You said you didn’t like strawberries. But you’re obsessed with my lips.”
Jude laughed softly. In fact, he really likes kissing Gavi’s lips. Those plumpy lips always taste like strawberries due to the strawberry flavored lipgloss that the owner used and also Gavi’s habit that always eats something sweet that taste like strawberries all the time.
“Yea yea yea, you too are the same.” Jude said.
Gavi looked at him with his pleading eyes and face. Begging Jude to not said it out loud eventhough there’s only the two of them in that car.
Please don’t said it, I understand it though.
But Jude chooses violence, “You said you didn’t like banana. But you loved to eat my banana.”

When his relationship with Gavi was still in its infancy, Jude was once faced with a crisis and difficult situation. It’s not about him being tempted by some chicks out there or other kinds of trivial problem. This is about him asking Gavi’s family for their blessing to make that pretty boy as his boyfriend. And of course, it wasn’t an easy thing to do.
“Ekhm,” Jude clears his throat for the umpteenth time.
One Saturday night, Jude came to Gavi’s house to ask his boyfriend out on a date. This is the very first time he do it. And Jude never thought that everything would be easy for him. It was proven right, as soon as he set his feet into the house. Jude was confronted by a woman who maybe in her 20s? Jude guess.
And finally, while waiting for Gavi changes his clothes, he must be willing to be interrogated by a woman who is no other than Gavi’s older sister, Aurora Páez Gavira.
Gavi had ever told him that he only lived with his mother and big sister. Meanwhile his dad working away from them. Gavi told him that both his parent wasn’t the type of parent that meddle their children business, they tend to always support him in any case. The complete opposite with his big sister, who is quite picky about anything. Including the problem about Gavi’s future partner.
Gavi also said that Jude must get Aurora’s heart, at any cost. This applies if Jude is serious about wanting to have Gavi completely as his life partner.
“So, your name is Jude Victor William Bellingham, right?” Aurora squinted through the corners of her eyes, trying to intimidate his future brother-in-law.
Jude didn’t dare to look back, he just looked down obediently and nodded as necessary.
“Yes.”
“What do you have to had the courage dating my handsome little brother?”
Jude smells there’s a Sister Complex around here.
That question was hard to answer. Of course, his wealth wasn’t the right answer. And it also impossible for Jude to answer it with a joke like, “I have pleasure in every bite.”
Then what? Jude’s mind was completely stuck at the moment.
“I- I have love for Gavi.” Jude answered at the end.
“Tch, how naïve.” Jude stroking his chest imaginarily.
“Do you think built a family was enough just with love? Do you think you can provide and feeding Gavi just with love?”
God, forgive Jude.
“Emm, I had cars, a villa in Ibiza, and several savings…“
“Are you serious bragging your parent’s wealth in front of me?”
Please just kill Jude at this point.
“No, I don’t mean it that way, hermana.”
“Who do you call hermana?”
Where’s the camera? It must be some pranks.
Thinks Jude, thinks. All of these events wouldn’t found it finish line by themselves if you just keep silence and wait for Gavi to come as your life saviour. At least create some sweet words or whatever. As long as this test can be passed.
Unfortunately, Jude isn’t talented enough at made up words or stories.
“Right now, probably I still don’t have anything and I can’t promise anything yet. But we will walk together, go through difficult times together, so that we will be succeed together too inf the future. So, please –“
Jude bowed himself, until his forehead hit the table. He humbled himself in front of Aurora, just for his boyfriend, Gavi.
“ – please bless my relationship with Gavi.”
A long time passed, filled with silence. Jude still had his head down, not realizing who was on the other side, Aurora was holding her smile.
“Such a stupid kid. How can Gavi dated someone like you? You shouldn’t lower your head to anyone or strangers as easy like that. You’re done, raised your head.”
“No.”
“You won’t listen to what your sister-in-law says?”
Jude spontaneously raised his head. He felt the need to make sure that his ears weren’t misheard what Aurora had just said.
“Y-yes?”
“I said raised your head.” Aurora got up from the sofa, at the same time Gavi came over. The older woman said something before walking away from the two of them.
“Take a good care of my little brother, a little scratch, your life is at stake.”
Jude swallowed his saliva roughly. But because it was a command from his soon to be sister-in-law, he was only able to say ues while standing up straight and respectfully. Beside him, Gavi chuckled softly.
“You passed the test,” he said while linking his hand to Jude’s arm.
And Jude could only breathe a sigh of relief while smiling triumphantly.
Perhaps, this is what people means, like standing in a climax.

This was how Jude confessed his love for Gavi.
During their high school graduation day, it was the most anticipated event, but also the most unfortunate to happen for some people. If there’s a meeting, there’s also a farewell. The stories of adolescence will soon be left behind and replaced by busy days. Where your brain will not thinking about homework anymore instead it turned into thinking about future planning. And for the sake of that prospect, Jude decides to make a confession.
A confession about his love, a love he had buried for two years. At first he was a little hesitant. But since this was the end of their high school story, Jude felt the need to do it. It’s okay to get rejected, the important thing is that he stated it.
At that time, there was a tradition to scribble your signature on your schoolmate uniforms, after the graduation ceremony took place. It was quite difficult to find the person he was looking for, but thanks to the help of his friends, Jude was finally reunited with the soul of his heart.
At their school backyards. Against the backdrop of deciduous leaves in autumn, the person he was looking for had arrived first. Jude came out of his hiding place and walked behind someone that he adores and loves genuinely.
He patted his shoulders.
“Don’t turn around,” I’m still not ready, he continued in his heart.
“Uhm, okay.”
“May I sign my signature on your back collar?”
“Of course, as far as I remember, it was still empty there.” He gives permission.
And I’ll be the one that will fill the void.
Jude opened the back collar of someone who was still standing with his back against him. He opened his marker and put his signature on it. He had heard it from someone, he didn’t even remember when it was exactly, but it said giving your autograph on the back of someone’s collar meant secretly loving them.
Jude’s signature is there.
Along with a message, I’m the one who love you.
And he didn’t even know here the encouragement came from, but for one reason after he completed his wish, he kissed the top of that head. The head of someone he loves the most. It caused a surprise sigh from the owner.
“Eh?”
Jude taking a step back.
“Congratulations for graduating, Gavi.”
A bouquet of red roses showed up in front of him. Jude prepared it.
Gavi looked up. Looking at someone he didn’t know well at that time. But somehow, his heart was pounding hard. His world filled with a colorful sight. Like there were thousands of rose petals falling from the sky and then being blown away by the wind.
“T-thanks, congratulations for graduating too Bellingham…” said Gavi, a little stuttered. Even his hands were trembling slightly when he welcomed Jude’s hand of flowers.
“May I have your signature too?” Jude asked softly.
Gavi nodden quickly, “O-of course.” His hand swiftly withdrew the marker he kept in his pocket. “Which side?”
Jude immediately pointed his own chest, right next to his heart. There was an empty space there, and below it was written the name, Pablo Martin Paéz Gavira.
Jude has prepared a special place for his Gavi and Gavi feels touched by that. He really wanted to cry. Because as far as he knew, that place was a special place. Some of his friends who were dating exchanged signature next to each other’s chests. They said, so that their relationship could last forever, until death do them apart.
“It’s done.” Gavi said. But Jude wasn’t done looking at Gavi.
“Gavi,” Jude called him softly. “I know we’re not that close.”
Gavi understands, they were in different class after all, that’s normal.
“But, since the first time I got to know you. You’ve made me fell in love at the first sight.”
Ah yes, Gavi remembered it. He was once involved in a fundraising project with Jude. They’ve knew each other, but weren’t that close at that time.
“I just confessed now, because I think it’s the right time. Honestly, your rejection is what I fear the most. Therefore, I just want to express my feelings and let you know it for the last time. Because we might not going to the same college after this. Regarding your answer, please do not put any pressure on yourself, whatever it is, I’ll accept it at this moment.”
Gavi felt his stomach filled with fluttering butterflies.
“Every time. Every single time I saw you and our gazes meet each other, my heart keeps pounding like crazy. I do think that you might be my fate. The one and only person that I want to protect until the end of the world.”
Gavi swears, he saw tears in the corners of Jude’s eyes.
“Ahh, sorry,” Jude turned his face to the other side with a low chuckled. “This may sound silly for you, but I really mean it Gavi. But, if you feel annoyed, I apologize. I’ll go now.”
Jude turned around after that, he walked slowly, intending to return joining his friends.
As expected, I was rejected huh. Jude whispered to himself.
“Be-bellingham…” Gavi suddenly called him.
Jude turned around again and smiled modestly, “Yes?”
“Please take your responsibility.”
“Y-yeah?”
Gavi tightly hugged the bouquet of roses that Jude gave him earlier. This was beyond his expectations and this wasn’t something he could predicted. Maybe everything seems happened too fast. Eventhough, two years wasn’t a span of short time.
“Please take the responsibility if later I’m gonna miss you.”
A second after hearing it, Jude Bellingham couldn’t resist his own smile.
Jude raised his arms wide into the air while looking at the sky, then he looked back at Gavi, not forgetting to showed the best smile he could ever had.
“I’ll take the responsibility, Gavi!”

Jude was a new guy there. He wasn’t born there, he is coming from Birmingham, a city in Great Britain. His dad is a well known football club manager at the time and now managing one of the biggest club in Catalan history, the club that has the same name as this beautiful city wheres his family chose it as their new destination to lived, Barcelona.
It was hard for someone in his age to move from one country to another. He had grown up in Birmingham for a long period, all his friend were there and now he had to start it all over again. Not to mention that people here speak a different mother tounge to him. Like it or not, he need to learn spanish language by himself.
Thankfully, Jude is not an arrogant kid who will feel he is better just because he doesn’t come from the same place as his friends.
Three years later, Jude has entered high school. Surprisingly, speaking fluent in Spanish. Now, Jude become an active student who like to participating in various activities that held by his school. At that time, his school created a movement to hold a fundraiser whose proceeds would be aimed for victims of the recent earthquake in a small coastal town in Barcelona.
Jude was cleaning up a pile of boxes containing primary necessities for the victims when his activities were interrupted as the student council president came into the room. However, Jude’s attention was not focused on the student council president, but on another figure standing next to him.
He’s not that tall, maybe he’s considered short compared to Jude’s height. But he’s cute.
“Guys, while I take care of other things. You will be coordinated with by him, I chose him as my temporary replacement. His name is Pablo Gavi.”
The smaller one bowed politely and smiled kindly to everyone in that room.
“Nice to meet you guys, I’m Pablo Gavi, the representative from 2nd grade, A class.”
Even his voice sounded like music that made Jude’s ears dance.
It was the first time, Jude had never heard that name when he was in first grade. It seems like he has to thank his friend who recommended him to join the fundraising team for victims of this earthquake.
“Pablo Gavi.”
Jude shook his hand, as the boy went around while introducing himself to the other members.
“Jude Bellingham, nice to meet you.”
Then Gavi responded with a charming smile.
Since then, Jude Bellingham has officially fallen in love.
