''Tezuka, if I asked you out on a tennis date, would you say yes?''
Tezuka regarded him for a moment, then simply nodded.
''And if I asked you out on a dinner date? Would the answer remain the same?''
''Possibly.''
''What about a running date? Or an afternoon one in the library? All hypothetical, of course.''
Tezuka tried hard to keep his expression neutral. He could see the skittishness Inui displayed, however little, for once.
Hypothetical… sure.
''And what would happen, if I asked you to stop this nonsense and just kiss me?''
Before Inui could move, Tezuka had already sealed their mouths together, earning himself a satisfying moan.
It took a second or two, then the dominance over the kiss was claimed by Inui and Tezuka could do naught but hold on.
When they finally parted, both were flushed but obviously happy with the situation.
Tezuka cleared his throat.
''It's still early. First running, then tennis. Later we meet up again at the library before dinner. And Inui, not hypothetically.''
It was then that Inui found his full thought processes again and smiled.
''Of course, Tezuka.''
