It was the weekend, so Simon and Xander decided to go to the mall together. They had some things to do there, but it was more about the fact of meeting.
-Xander! Look! - Simon shouted, stopping at a claw machine and pointing to a large stuffed dinosaur placed there.
-A plush dinosaur? Really? - Xander asked, slightly surprised by his excitement about something like this
- Plushies and dinosaurs are some of the coolest things in the world - the boy explained
-That's kinda right. I just didn't know someone like you liked stuff like that - He commented jokingly (and maliciously)
Simon just punched him in the arm for this, making Xander laugh
- Do you want me to win it for you?- Xander finally asked
- these machines are one big scam
- Come on, sometimes people win in them- said the boy and put the coin into the machine without even letting Simon say anything.
- You're just wasting money on this- told Simon when the first attempt to get plushie ended in failure
- I'll get you that dinosaur! Everything for my boyfriend - he said without a second thought
- Just shut the fuck up- Simon muttered, looking away and covering his face so it wouldn't be seen that he was blushing.
When the next attempt failed, Xander kicked the machine and his boyfriend started laughing that he would love to help him break it.
- Yes! It worked! - Xander shouted excitedly when he managed to pull out the stuffed animal on the 4th try
- I told you I'd get it for you - He added, proudly handing the dinosaur to his boyfriend
Simon remained silent, not knowing what to say. He hugged the gift, his eyes shining with joy
- In return, I would love to receive a kiss, or at least a "thank..." -
Xander was just joking to annoy Simon, but suddenly his statement was interrupted by a kiss from his boyfriend.
- I-I was joking. I mean, I didn't believe that you would really do it - he only choked out when the boy moved away from him. He was all blushed
- What? Didn't like it? You're so picky- Simon commented with a slightly mean smile on his face
-NO! It was the coolest thing you've ever done for me and very sweet too. I just didn't expect it- he explained
- Shut up- boy muttered. At that moment, Xander noticed a slight blush on his face, which made him smile
- Listen, we don't have all day and we still have a few things to do, so let's just move on- Simon tried to change the subject before it all got even more pathetic and saccharine.
Xander just nodded and followed him.
