Amy was having a blast while she was waiting for her next match in the Chaos Emerald Martials Arts mash-up, currently she was cheering for her friend, child prodigy Miles "Tails" Prower in his match against G.U.N agent and professional gem hunter Rouge The Bat.
"Come on, Tails you show her who owns the sky, pal!" Amy cheered as she watched Tails and Rouge trading blows mid-air.
Suddenly, Rouge then flew down to the edge of the ring and taunted Tails, prompting him to follow her and charge at her, then the bat held out her arms, confusing the fox and making him to stop right in front of Rouge, then she grabbed Tails by the arms and kissed him on the cheek, stunning him.
"Hey, that's a cheap shot!" Amy yelled indignantly at the bat among the audience's cheers and glared at her as she swung the fox and dumped him out of the ring, winning the match.
"Well, it looks like Rouge the Bat sure gave Tails the kiss-off, that makes her the winner of this match" Scarlet Garcia narrated
"Sorry to smooch and run, but I've gotta touch up my lipstick" Rouge teased Tails as she walked past him while leaving the ring.
Amy growled at this and jumped out of the sidelines and ran to Tails, who was lying on his back with a goofy look on his face and groaning in shock and embarassment.
"Huh, Tails, are you okay, little buddy?" Amy asked the embarassed fox in concern.
Hearing Amy's voice, Tails snapped out of the trance-like state he was on, "Huh?" Tails exclaimed as his mind processed what happened just a moment ago, he then sat up and shook his head "I'm a little dazed and embarassed for falling in Rouge's trap, but I'm fine, thanks, Amy" he said before sighing and looking down "sorry for not being of further help on this mission".
Amy smiled simpathetically at Tails and putted her arm around his shoulder as she helped him up "Aww, don't fret about it, we still have a shot at getting the Emerald while Sonic, Knuckles and me are still in this game, besides, you did pretty well, you showed everybody that despite being a little guy you really a tough bone to bite" Amy said before leaning in, wiping Rouge's lipstick off Tails' cheek and plant a kiss of her own on it.
Unlike with Rouge's forceful and mischievous kiss, Amy's gentle and kind one didn't stun Tails and while it made him blush, it felt nice to him "Do you-do you really think that, Amy" the fox asked twiddling his fingers nervously.
Amy giggled at this "Of course you were great, buddy!" she said winking at him "In fact, I swear that if I have a match with Rouge in this tournament, I'll squash her like a fly!'
Tails chuckled at this "Thanks you, Amy, Good luck in your next matches" he said as they high fived.
Amy giggled "Anything for you, little buddy".
