Chapter Text
"Attention, please. Attention. Attention!" The leader smacks a gavel at the head of a long mahogany table. "This meeting of the Furry Friends Society will now come to order. I need not remind you of our purpose."
"Remind me!"
"To place stray dogs with nice dog families. Here today, we have a sad, sad case," she opens a folder, "that needs our urgent attention."
A monochrome photo of a spotted puppy lays by a CONSENT TO ADOPTION form with various details.

"She's only a puppy, and she lives all alone with no other dogs around." She passes the file.
"She looks so blue," a member laments.
"That’s funny," another marvels dryly. "She looks happy to me."
"Of course she's not happy!" the leader corrects. "How can you say that? Look at her."
The team at the table bickers louder and louder. "If you think she's happy, you don't belong!"
"Madam Chairwoman!" the tallest head of the table calls out to the leader.
"Miss Mockingbird."
Said lady clears her throat. "We all know she can't be happy. She should be with her own kind. With a dog family."
"True, very true," the Chairwoman obliges.
"And I know just the family. Where does she live?"
"Storybook World."
"Can you tell me how to get to…Storybook World?"
"Skidoo," a member answers.
"What?"
"Y'know." He repeatedly gestures, sending one hand over another. "Just…skidoo."
Miss Mockingbird stares blankly, then rolls her eyes, accepting whatever she must now endure.
We hear an OPENING SONG REMIX. Concrete turns to mixed media, the sky brightens, and everything flattens to life. Titles appear.
