Had you told Ashley Seaver she’d be waking up in Emily Prentiss’ arms, she wouldn’t believe it. Still, as she stirs slowly to awake, she can’t help smiling. She may have left the team but she had made her home here in Emily’s life. She knew, they both knew, it had to be discreet for now but as time passed they both knew it had gotten serious.
She’s quiet as she moves to get out the bed, sneaking away to clean her face and get ready for the day. She’ll wake Emily with her coffee and breakfast in bed. They finally have some time alone together since Emily is on a forced break, so Ashley is determined to make as much of it good as she can, knowing that Emily is itching to get back to work. All she needs to do now is convince Emily that it will be worth it to stay home and rest.
