Work Text:
Falling asleep in the middle of a court trial had to be against some kind of rule.
Atleast… that’s what he think happened. And hoped. Because this was definitely not the court room. He didn’t know how long after the court case it was, or how he’d gotten here, but judging by the wet diaper still between his legs it couldn’t have been that long.
Aether pushed himself up, running one of his eyes with the heel of his palm. He looked around as his vision cleared. He was laying on a plush couch and had been covered with a thin sheet. His boots were off and nearby, and it felt like he’d been stripped some.
He peered down at himself, seeing just his cropped undershirt, pants, and his socks. His scarf and armor and gloves were hopefully nearby, but he wasn’t too worried.
“Good afternoon, sleepy head.” The voice of Neuvillette filled Aether’s ears, making him turn around. Neuvillette was walking towards him from his desk, which was covered in books and papers. He must’ve been working while he was asleep.
Aether didn’t say anything until Neuvillette was crouched in front of him, barely registering the man reaching out and brushing his hair out of his face. Made sense his hair was messy, Aether tossed and turned in his sleep.
The dragon smoothed his hair back, brushing it behind his pierced ear. “Did you sleep well? Apologies if I startled you, I was as quiet as possible.” The man asked in a low, calm tone, which Aether appreciated. His noise sensitivity was always bad right when he woke up.
Aether shook his head, not bothering to fight the yawn that came on. He covered his mouth lazily out of habit, letting it drop back down when he was done. Neuvillette chuckled, standing back up.
“I was going to change you while you were sleeping, but I don’t have any supplies. You’ve been in that wet diaper too long for my liking, so I’d like to do it now please.” Neuvillette spoke. Wow. That woke Aether up. He shook his head in surprise, rubbing both eyes. “Right. I forgot. Sorry.” He said, holding a hand out. He summoned his backpack, which appeared in his hand gracefully.
Some what groggily, he set it down and pushed open the flap. He dug around until he pulled out his pack of wipes, baby powder, and a diaper. Another yawn came on just as he was handing the supplies to Neuvillette, who seemed amused by Aether’s sleepiness.
Aether’s eyes shut against his will, and he felt himself being pushed to lay flat on his back. Then a soft pillow was shoved under his neck as the thin sheet was taken away and placed under him.
“Are you always this drowsy after a nap?” Neuvillette asked with a slight hum, peeling off his gloves. Aether shook his head lazily. “No. I just haven’t slept well in awhile.” He muttered. Neuvillette’s eyebrows furrowed, but he shoved his questions away for later. Right now, he had a job to do. Albeit, a job he was very excited to be doing, but a job nonetheless.
Aether seemed on the verge of falling asleep again, so Neuvillette wanted to get this done as quick as possible.
“I’m going to start now. Is that alright?” He asked, getting a tired ‘mmhmm’ from the pretty Traveler before his head lolled to the side and he let out a soft breath. Neuvillette smiled and pulled Aether’s pants down, revealing the soaked diaper.
He didn’t waste any time removing the soiled thing, throwing it away in the trash can nearby. Aether shivered at the sudden rush of cold air on his damp skin, making Neuvillette speed up slightly. “Shh, my love. You’ll be all comfy soon enough. Don’t worry.” He said, reaching for the pack of wipes.
The dragon flipped open the lid and pulled one out, beginning to wipe Aether down. He was quick but thorough. The last thing Neuvillette wanted was Aether developing a rash, which would suck with his active life style.
After a few wipes, Aether’s milky skin was all clean. The Iudex smiled to himself as he reached for the soft, thick diaper and unfolded it. He gently nudged Aether to lift his hips, which he obliged to, and Neuvillette slid the padding under the boy. He adjusted everything before sprinkling some baby powder on his front, making the nostalgic scent waft into the air.
There was something so domestic about this. Something that sated Neuvillette’s ever raging instincts on a primal level. He’s been around for hundreds of years, yet nothing has quieted the raging storm in his mind like this. Changing Aether while he slept, so vulnerable yet so trusting that Neuvillette would make sure he was clean and comfortable and safe.
It was a feeling he never wanted to forget.
The dragon brought the front of the diaper up, taping it right and secure. Aether looked absolutely precious with his angelic sleeping face and the fresh, adorable diaper he was now in. Neuvillette had never expected that the illustrious Traveler would have a liking for diapers, something so childish and vulnerable, but now Neuvillette couldn’t imagine him in anything else.
It was so natural for some reason. That and this. There was something so satisfying about taking care of someone on this level. And Gods above, Neuvillette was obsessed with Aether.
He quickly and quietly cleaned up the surrounding area, making sure not to disturb Aether. He’d fallen asleep for sure now, if his calm and level breaths were anything to go by.
This might’ve been self indulgent, but Neuvillette decided to leave Aether’s pants off. He just looked so cute in his exposed diaper he couldn’t get enough. But he of course laid a nice blanket over him, now that he was to take a proper nap.
Finding Aether asleep in his chair after the trial had been surprising but understandable. He’d drained the boy accidentally during the intermission ordeal, and nothing interesting had happened anyways. But he could tell Aether needed to sleep. And Neuvillette would be damned if he kept him from resting.
Aether didn’t know it yet, but he’d never escape Neuvillette’s grasp again. He was absolutely obsessed, and he was not above some collars and chains to keep it that way.
Neuvillette was the Chief Justice and Iudex of Fontaine. The Hydro Dragon Sovreign and he always got what he wanted. And this time, it was Aether. He’d be allowed to continue his journey, but he’d make sure he came back. Now that he was so close, he was never letting him go.
Ever.
Until death did them part.
