Crimson was happy to remember how his wife dressed and did her make-up. He was a little worried about talking, maybe even moving wrong, but he was confident in himself. He wore a blond wig, made sure to cover his scars, and a black dress that had slits that went up to his waist. He wore black heels and black gloves that went up to his elbows. “I feel stupid.” He complained to Alessio. The man rolled his eyes and ushered Crimson out of the room. He grabbed the black purse that they asked Cleo for and helped Crimson into the car. The imp was nervous about their plan, especially with the territory they were about to enter, but he had some faith that this would be an in and out operation.
That faith burned quite quickly.
He was getting through the party with ease when he ran into one of the many guests — literally. He gave his apologies, thinking that would be it, when he felt his blood run cold. He looked up to see Andrealphus. He was trying to avoid all Goetia, but he fucked up. His tail wrapped around his ankle in a loose manner as he tried to smile - showing that he wasn't nervous whatsoever.
That didn't work either.
“How - 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦.” Andrealphus had said. Crimson blinked, he knew it was a snarky remark but he brushed it off.
“I apologize. I was not paying attention. ” Crimson spoke. He kept his voice soft and quiet, trying to sound as feminine as possible. He was happy that it had worked with other guests, but it seemed to only intrigue the blue bird more. He bent over, getting close to Crimson's face, and squinted his eyes at the imp. Crimson's eyes widened slightly, his teeth clenched tightly. “Please excuse me..” He spoke again. He watched as Andrealphus smile and stand back up to his full height. Crimson felt himself relax at that.
This started up a conversation that was more one sided and something that he payed little to no attention to. He was getting side tracked. He needed a way out of the brain dead conversation and now. “What's worse is that -”
“How about,” Crimson cut him off. “you and I finished this conversation later?” He smiled, tilting his head to the side slightly. “I have some place to be and would adore speaking with you when I am not so busy.” The imp even made his tail wag to make it seem like he was genuinely interested in the other. Andrealphus smiled at him.
“Yes, lets do that.” He spoke. Crimson's smile widened and he was quick to run off. He ignored the strange feeling of being watched, only for a moment though. He felt his skin crawl as he made his way down the hallway and to the room he was looking for. He took out his phone and opened the door, entering the large room. It didn't take long for him to find what he was looking for ; The Grimoire. He opened it and began taking pictures of pages he found most important before closing it back and making his way out of the room. He was busy sending the pictures to Stu as he stood in the hallway when he heard someone clear their throat. He looked up to see Hellhounds, causing his heart to skip. He was quick to duck their paws and run past them.
He ran down the hallway until he was in the area where the guests had been. His eyes scanned the room until he spotted Andrealphus, speaking with his sister. He was quick to run to the Goetia, happy to have learned how to run in heels, and hid on his side. Andrealphus and Stella's conversation had halted, causing the both of them to look down at the imp. Crimson looked up at Andrealphus, his eyes wide and filled with fear. The expression that the Goetia gave him had confused him for a moment before the Hellhounds arrived and his worry and anxiety spiked. Crimson wasn't sure if the other would help so that he could leave, but fuck if he had all faith in this big fucker.
“I understand you're dogs, but try and not run through a party like a pack of wild animals.” Andrealphus rolled his eyes at the four. The Hellhounds' ears dropped and they walked away from the three. Once they were gone, Andrealphus looked down at Crimson, smiling as he lowered himself to the imp's height. “Now why were they chasing after you?” He asked. Crimson felt his face grow hot.
“Does it matter?” Stella rolled her eyes. “How the 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 did she get in here?? This is an invite only party. Do fuckers just walk on here and -” Stella began a rant, something both Andrealphus and Crimson drowned out. Andrealphus was just so close to Crimson's face that it made it hard for him to think or even remember what he was about to do. Stella had gone off somewhere, leaving the two of them alone and giving Andrealphus the chance to speak with Crimson.
“Aren't you uncomfortable..? You know, squatting like that?” Crimson asked, pointing at the male. Andrealphus did nothing but smile at him. He stood and began to walk, Crimson following after him. The two sat down and started up a conversation. About what Crimson completely forgot, but he knew he enjoyed it. The conversation was cut however when his phone dinged. He opened it to see that it was Alessio. He was waiting outside for him. Crimson turned his phone off, looking at Andrealphus with a face filled with sorry. Andrealphus hummed in response.
“Leaving so soon?” He asked, smiling at Crimson.
“Well, actually, I've been here for three hours.” Crimson said. “With you. Talking. For three hours.” Crimson's face was burning again, his tail wrapping around his ankle again. Andrealphus seemed to find his responses and reactions amusing.
“I understand.” Crimson blinked, looking at him confused. “Just call me when you're free.” Andrealphus stood, patting Crimson on the head before he left for his raging sister who was about to throw an imp at one of the guests. Crimson sat there for a moment before getting up to leave. Alessio opened the door to the car to let Crimson in.
It took a few hours, but something hit Crimson as he was getting ready for bed. Something important.
“I don't have his fucking number.”
