Mike and Alison walked into the grand house they once owned which had been converted into a five star hotel with luxurious facilities and a massive golf course. The reception room that held so many memories to them were filled with families and couples walking around going here there and everywhere.
The receptionist smiled when he saw them approaching “Ah Mr and Mrs cooper your usual room is all ready shall I take your bags personally?” Alison and Mike smiled “it’s ok I’ll take them” said Mike “I may be old but I’ve still got my good looks and strength”. Alison chuckled, Mike maybe old but inside he’s still the silly man she married.
Alison then kisses Mike and walks up the huge staircase that took her a while to get up “did these stairs always make me so tired or is it just me?” She thought but brushed off the thought when she saw the room they book every time they visit “The Higham Sweet” named after Katherine Higham. Alison opened the door and walked in.
The Ghosts all cheered with joy when she entered the room. Alison spoke to each one of her friends telling them about how Mia was doing now that she is all grown and with a family of her own. While swiping through the photos on her phone Mike came in with the bags and Alison kissed him.
After a few hours of catching up and a lovely room service dinner Alison got dressed into her nightgown and Mike changed into warm pjs and both got into bed and played their favourite movie to watch with the ghosts 2001 A Space Odyssey. As they grew more tired Mike kissed Alison on her cheek and then they fell asleep in their old room surrounded by their former housemates.
