It was a really big day for Sarah as she was almost through her teen years celebrating being 19 years old right now there was gonna be a huge party right now she was getting ready for the big event as her big sister Leah was at the airport right now with Johnny who is a friend of the family, pretty much Sarah's body guard but right now she was spending some quality time with the guys who are like family to Sarah seeing her like a baby sister, luckily Johnny treated Sarah like family as well seeing as he pretty much known her since he could remember her mom of course wanted to help out in anyway that she could, right now she was doing her hair and make-up which was super sweet considering the fact that Sarah was pretty much a mommy's girl always has been.
But she was in for a surprise considering that right now Ryan who she had been dating since she was 16 years old and he was 17 years old luckily though her dad approved of their relationship considering that he saw Ryan like a son that he never had as he only has Sarah and her older sister Leah but to be fair he absolutely adored them both to the point where as Sarah was the youngest in the family he had hired someone that he considered family to be her bodyguard so that it relaxed not only him but her mother as well so he hired Johnny Faust who he had known for many years even though he's fours years old than Sarah he was perfect for the job as he has known both girls for so many years.
Also him and Leah had been dating for about a year now thankfully again he approved knowing that both girls was in safe hands with their sufficient other, Ryan wanted to take his relationship with Sarah to the next step in their relationship of course their father gladly approved and so did their mom who was over the moon that her baby girl wasn't just growing up but would hopefully one day get married but Ryan had let them know that if she says yes, that they would be engaged for a number of years before getting married which they completely understood as they did the same thing.
There was a knock on Sarah's bedroom door of course her mom was with her so obviously it wasn't gonna be her, the person behind the door speaks up asking "Hey is it safe to come in the room or not?" Turns out it was her father and her mom speaks up saying, "Yes it's safe to come in don't worry." Her bedroom opens and in walks her father in a full suit and he looks over at his baby girl with a smile on his face saying in Italian as he can speak that but so can Sarah, her mom and Leah, "Oh sei Bellissima." That makes her smile and replies with, "Grazie Padre." He then speaks up saying, "Stati crescendo cosi in fretta." Sarah smiles and her mom speaks up saying, "You know he's right you're growing up way to fast for my liking as well."
Sarah speaks up saying, "Well no matter how old I get I will always be both of your little girl who loves you both very much." Of course that makes them smile and her father speaks up saying, "Beh, lo spero." She gives her parents each a kiss on the cheek which they accepted and then he remembers something saying, "Quasi dimenticavo di dirti che tua nonna ti sta aspettando di sotto." Of course Sarah has a huge grin on her face considering how closer her and their grandma had come over the years especially after granddad had passed away their bond was unbreakable.
Once she was done getting herself ready with the help of her mom which she speaks up saying to her mom, "Grazie Mamma." She smiles at Sarah saying, "Oh sei il benvenuto tesoro, adesso andiamo, non voglio far aspettare tutti." She smiles her father has gone back downstairs to make the big announcement that the birthday girl was coming downstairs along with her mom and once she reached the stairs everyone had gone quiet looking up at the birthday girl wanting to see what she was wearing along with her mom and once they seen what she was wearing commented on how beautiful she looked the first person that Sarah wanted to see was her grandma who was waiting patiently for her granddaughter.
Of course they finally got to see each other and her nan has a huge grin on her face speaks up saying, "Sei bellissima nipote, come sempre." That makes Sarah smile and she replies with, "Grazie Nonna, ti amo." They share a sweet hug of course everyone understood how close they was together and honestly it was the most sweetest thing in the world, then Leah comes over giving Sarah the biggest hug possible speaking to her by saying, "Buon compleanno sorellina." Of course Sarah speaks up still hugging Leah by saying, "Grazie Sorella." Of course Johnny wasn't that far away considering for a few reasons mostly because he was dating Leah but the other reason is that he's Sarah's bodyguard but he was allowed the night off considering she was surrounded by family.
He remained quiet throughout most of the evening but to be fair he wasn't a really talkative person which the family understood, right now Sarah was spending some quality time with Ryan her boyfriend but even though he was dating Leah there was something about Sarah that he found interesting but honestly had no idea what considering the fact that he's dating her older sister who he does love and care about but there was something special about Sarah it was frustrating he didn't even like Ryan at all probably because he was jealous that he got to send all this time with Sarah.
Quite a few hours had passed it was now officially time for the birthday cake which was special order from Sarah's favourite bakery and it was carefully brought out as everyone started singing Happy Birthday of course she couldn't help but smile having everyone that she loved celebrating her 19th birthday but of course she was in for another surprise but that would come after the cake when Ryan would ask her to come on stage, once everyone had finished singing Sarah closed her eyes for a few seconds thinking of the perfect wish and then blew out the candles which made everyone cheer, she carefully cut the cake as she had always done but before she could get the first slice that is when Ryan speaks up saying, "Sorry to interrupt but I would love to have a moment please so can the birthday girl come up on stage."
She looks confused before heading up to join her boyfriend who was wearing a suit waiting patiently with a microphone in his hand as she joins him everyone gives their full attention to the stage which of course included Leah who was holding Johnny's hand seeing as they was dating, everyone went quiet as Ryan who has a huge grin on his face speaks up saying, "So I know you are probably wondering why I called my beautiful girlfriend the birthday girl to the stage but it will all become clear." He then gives his full attention to Sarah who was still smiling and speaks up saying, "This is something I've been wanting to do for awhile but of course I asked for your parents approval which they gladly accepted."
He then kneels down in front of Sarah who has a shocked look on her face almost everyone else did as well considering the only people to know was of course the parents even Leah had no idea she had a shocked look on her face but Johnny wasn't impressed but kept quiet and then Ryan takes Sarah's hand whilst the other one still covers her mouth and he speaks up asking her, "Sarah Ann Castello I was wondering if you would do me the honor of being my wife?"
Sarah was completely speechless looking around everyone but for some reason she couldn't stop staring at Johnny who she had only known maybe a bit longer than Ryan but he was dating her sister, even though she did have feelings for Johnny it honestly wasn't worth the risk affecting her and Leah's relationship, so she gives her full attention back to Ryan and speaks up saying, "Yes I would be honoured to be your wife so the answers yes." He breathed a sigh of relief worried that she would reject him, they had a big hug and a very sweet kiss then, he put the engagement ring on his finger and then they went back to sharing a sweet hug of course almost everyone was super excited about the engagement all but one person.
