Summer Lovin'

Summary:

So Trey and Cater are a thing. But how did it happen?

Work Text:

Trey put down his pen, took off his glasses, rubbed his neck and sighed. It had been a long, hot day. Not entirely unpleasant, he had to admit, as he glanced at his bed, but the end-of-month report needed to be with Riddle tomorrow morning. Absently he waved his hand to adjust the temperature and took up his pen. His attention was soon drawn back to his bed as a contented sigh echoed around the room. Cater was lying on his stomach, his red hair spread across Trey’s black clover-shaped pillow. He was wearing only his red Speedos (they had spent a very pleasant afternoon in the pool) and the cooling room enabled him to settle into a deeper sleep. Trey gazed distractedly at his arse, perfectly outlined by his bathers, and felt himself harden.

Not for the first time, he marvelled at how this beautiful boy with red hair and green eyes – this MAN from Pyroxene – had captivated him so. He had thought himself quite well-travelled until he came to Night Raven College. He had travelled around most of the Queendom with his family and had been to Pyroxene several times. He quite liked the country - it was his choice of holiday before heading to school; a gift from his parents on accepting the invitation. It was there that he had his first sexual encounter: at 15! A kiss from a girl a few years older than he was. His first kiss! His first hard-on! Then he’d arrived at school and met Cater. He was so sophisticated! It was unusual for the dorm to have many foreigners and the two had spent a lot of time helping each other with their language practice.

Cater had given him a wonderful present on his 16th birthday – a book on the history of Pyroxene patisseries. In return, and against the rules of the dorm, he acquired two bottles of beer, created a selection of savoury tarts, and invited Cater to a picnic in the maze. He’d loved it! The tarts were a success and they both got a little tipsy on the beer. Then Cater had leant forward and kissed him. Gently at first, until he’d moaned with emotion. Then he’d pushed his tongue into Trey’s mouth and he'd felt like he was going to explode! There followed many other similar encounters throughout first year. Stolen kisses leading to fumbling explorations.

But they’d drifted apart in second year. He’d been appointed deputy dorm president, which took up a lot of his time, and Cater, already so self-confident, threw himself into the music club and his social media profile. Trey had still lusted after him and spent many nights waiting to ensure that his roommate was asleep before jerking off to memories and pictures of Cater. And so second year had passed, until the end-of-year party.

Trey shook his head to re-focus on the report he was supposed to be completing and flipped through the remaining papers. Not too many left, thank goodness! He entered the next data set and sat back while the computer did its calculation. He resumed his reverie.

It was sometime after 12:30 in the morning. Everyone else had gone to bed – either their own or someone else’s – and he was doing the final clean up. He was doing it now so that he didn’t get woken up by a Riddle rage at stupid o’clock in the morning. He was just finishing a sweep of the garden when he’d found Cater, curled up fast asleep under one of the rose arbours. He’d knelt down next to him, initially to make sure that he was asleep and not hurt. “Cater!” he whispered, but there was no response. He gazed at him, so beautiful in the moonlight, his pale skin glowing. He gently brushed strands of red hair off his face and whispered again, more loudly, “Cater! It’s time for bed.” Those brilliant green eyes opened, Cater smiled up at him and said “Yes, please!”. Then one hand entangled in Trey’s hair, the other pulled him close in the middle of his back, and they kissed. Softly at first, but it quickly became an orgy of tongues and hands.

At some point, he’d found himself on his back with Cater between his legs, licking and sucking. “Cater…I’m… I’m going to…I’m coming!” Cater gripped more firmly and Trey moaned loudly as the movement intensified and he gave in. He turned bright red – how embarrassing to lose control like that – but Cater smiled, wiped his mouth and whispered “Would you like something more?” He’d pressed his own hard cock against Trey’s arse. “Yes!” he’d breathed. Yes? Just like that? Without a second thought? But Oh Gods! Yes!!

Cater had conjured some lube and slicked them both. He’d jumped a little as Cater’s fingers caressed his hole and Cater was at once concerned and solicitous. “Have you done this before?” Trey shook his head. “No. Have you?” “Yeah, but not with a guy. I don’t want to hurt you; you will tell me if I…” Trey had nodded and they’d had sex for the first time. God’s! It was…like nothing…he’d ever…even…imagined! The sensation of Cater coming inside him! And then allowing – no, wanting – him to do the same! They’d spent several hours in the warm night air and fell asleep under the roses until the early morning dew woke them up.

“Oops! We’d better go. Riddle will collar us if he finds us here!”

“I know. Thank you for last night. It – you – were amazing!”

They got up, dusted each other off and headed back to the dorm, furtively touching each other’s hands when they were certain they couldn’t be seen.

“Are you heading home today?”

“Yep. You?”

“Yeah!

An awkward silence as neither had wanted to be the first to say it.

“I’ll, um, miss you. Message me?” Gods! Desperate much? What is this boy doing to me?

“Course! Don’t want you forgetting me while we’re away.” Then he’d kissed him – there! In the corridor! He’d smiled and almost skipped down the corridor, Trey watching his arse as he moved.

The computer beeped, wakening him from his daydream. He took off his glasses and glanced at the bed. Cater was starting to stir, wiggling his arse in the air. Trey felt himself harden further. Finally! He did a quick check of the reports and sent them to Riddle, then crawled into bed next to Cater.

“Mmm. Finished?”

“Just getting started.” He pressed himself hard against him and started kissing his neck. “Sorry to keep you waiting. How would like me to make it up to you?”

They were awakened some time later by Riddle raging outside in the corridor. Trey groaned as he tried to pull clothes on before the knock at the door that he knew was coming.

“Riddle! What on earth is the matter?”

The diminutive dorm president strode into the room in mid-tirade and stopped short when he saw Cater sitting on the bed.

“Don’t mind me, I was just leaving. Thanks for that, Trey.” He got up and walked to the door.

Trey smiled and turned to Riddle, steering him towards the door. He put his arm around his friend as they followed Cater down the corridor. “You know, Riddle, you’re going to have to figure out a way to handle these things by yourself next year when I’m not here.” He vaguely listened to Riddle’s response as his attention was drawn to Cater walking in front of them. The realisation hit him like a sledgehammer: I’m not ready for that man to just walk out of my life!
