Notes:

Gametoon is a great animation studio for me and I like Poppy Playtime Logics the most. Since I can't often find fanfiction from this series, I decided to write a story about them myself.
Info: Poppy Playtime Logics belongs to Gametoon, mine is just an OC.

Chapter 1: Prolog

Chapter Text

It is said that there is no such thing as monsters, ghosts or living toys in our world (unless we are talking about the Anabell doll. That doll possessed by a demon).

But what if it turns out that living toys existed in the old days, but everyone has forgotten about them? But just because they've been forgotten doesn't mean they're gone. They're still out there somewhere. They hide, wait, listen for someone brave enough to recognize them. And when they do, they'll kill her," thunder lit up the night sky, mingling with the faint but audible sound of raindrops falling on the pavement. In the children's room, the little girl huddled under a blanket while her mother told bedtime stories.

"How are they going to kill her?" the girl's voice when she asked the question was slightly slurred and one could say shaky.

"First, such a toy approaches a child who is motionless with fear. Step by step, until it's right next to him. He holds out his hands to her and then... " instructed the mother as she made the said movements.

"He starts tickling her" then the mother grabbed the little girl and began to tickle her gently. The child cringed at this and began to laugh adorably. Her laughter reverberated through the room, instantly changing the atmosphere from scary to funny.

"Mommyhahahahaha stop hihihi," the child asked through laughter. Soon the mother stopped, and the little girl lay smiling on the soft mattress. The mother hugged her daughter and said:

"No monster can hurt you while I'm here"

"Do you promise?" asked the girl. Her mother, with a gentle smile on her lips, looked at her:

" Promise ".

15 Years Later

The irritating sound of the alarm clock reverberated throughout the room. The young lady opened her sleepy gray eyes and stretched out her hand from under the covers, searching for her phone. When she found him immediately, she almost automatically turned off her alarm and stretched. Her not-too-long hair was scattered in a chaotic manner, just as it was every morning. The girl stood and made her way to the bathroom. After her morning routine, she dressed in her punk style, tights with big holes, a T-shirt of her favorite band, a long-sleeved shirt underneath and high boots on her feet. Additionally, many spiked bracelets, collars around her neck, a men's ring on her finger, and heavy makeup enhanced her look. Dressed like this, she took the bag she had prepared last night and went downstairs to the kitchen. There was no one in the room, but that didn't surprise the girl. After all, it was 6:30 a.m. The girl prepared her breakfast and was looking at her phone and eating cereal with milk. When she had finished, she left the house and headed for the bus stop.

The bus arrived late as usual, but the girl knew she wouldn't be late for the lectures anyway. Her suspicions were correct, and she found herself 10 minutes ahead of time at the grand entrance to her University.

The lectures were dragged on as if by the power of Kronos, which tormented the girl. Listening to the lecturer as if in a fog, the girl sketched something on her tablet to chase away the still lingering desire to go to sleep in her head. Finally, after a few hours, the lectures were over and the student was able to do something less boring than listening to lectures on political laws.

As she walked around the city, she stopped by her favorite café, where she could drink chocolate in peace and watch other customers pet cats.

"Hello Luna," the saleswoman greeted the girl from above the counter as soon as she entered the café. At the sight of her, the student smiled at her and greeted her as well.

"So what usual?" she asked

"Not otherwise," Luna said. The shop assistant started to make an order and after 5 minutes handed the student hot chocolate and apple pie with a scoop of ice and whipped cream. Thanking Luna, she went to the next guest room and sat down in her seat by the large window, which overlooked the nearby park. Slowly munching on the cake, Luna was looking through her phone. For a long time, the girl stopped at the website of photography studios. Truth be told, Luna's current life didn't suit her, and she didn't feel like she belonged to her father, having been persuaded by her father to try her hand at law school. The girl knew that she had always been fascinated by photography and wanted to change her studies to photography. But she knew very well that her father would not like it. Coming from a wealthy family of lawyers, Luna, like her father, grandfather and great-grandfather, etc., was also to become a lawyer in the future. The girl, however, did not support the idea that her father should decide about her future, which often led to disputes in her family home.

Luna was snapped out of her thoughts by a sudden sound beneath her feet. When the girl looked in the direction of the noise, she saw that the subject of this unexpected sound in her head was a ragdoll cat. The cat's name was Purr, and whenever Luna dropped into the café, the kitten jumped on her lap to keep the student company. The smiling girl let Purr climb onto her lap and, putting the phone down on the table, glanced out the window. Looking around her, Luna looked at a factory from behind the forest. Luna looked at her often. She read on the Internet that it was a long-running toy factory in the 1950s. However, in the 1990s, tragedy struck and for some reason the factory was closed.

"Do you think I could visit it?" asked Purr. The cat seemed to say, in his own way, that no one cares about it and Luna can do whatever she decides.

Up close, the factory seemed like a huge building in which impure forces were at work. Standing next to it, Luna admired its architecture, wanting to remember it in her memory until the grave. To be sure, Luna pulled out her phone and took some pictures of the factory. Then her gaze fell to the double doors.

"Here we go," she said and stepped inside.
