It's new year's, midnight, and it's booming loud. Everyone loves the colors, but not the sounds. The twins wear ear defenders. Mailbox wears headphones. It's not enough.
Blue shakes her head, grumbling. Her eyes land on a book. She gets an idea and quickly arranges a mass skidoo.
In Polka Dots' pastel bedroom, there's plenty of space for a comfy cozy sleepover. Goodnights are sung, tucked in, forehead kissed, and held. Love is enough.
Rather than resolutions, peaceful Blue finds resolve in familial closeness. The next page will bring untold adventures, but this..?
