Reimu picked up her broom, and looked down at it, her brow furrowing in thought. She stared down at it for a few seconds, then placed it back down on the ground, and sighed, her eyes distant.
She frowned, then turned away from the broom, and looked up at the sky, watching as the sun started to set, its orange glow fading away into the dark. She smiled slightly, then looked down at the front steps of the shrine, the old wood creaking as she stood on them.
She watched as a small caterpillar crawled out from under one of the steps, and started making its' way towards the tree in the distance.
Her smile widened slightly at that sight, then she turned to look back up at the sky again, and watched as the sun disappeared into the horizon, leaving the sky darkening into the night. Her smile faded a little, and she turned back to the caterpillar, and saw that it was still crawling along the ground, then looked back up at the sky again.
A tiny star started to appear in the sky, its' light shining dimly against the now-complete darkness of the night, which didn't really impress her that much.
She stared up at the star for a while, a small frown starting to form on her face, then turned to walk into the shrine, her footsteps making a hollow sound as she closed the doors behind her.
