“You know what I love?” Jason said, taking Raven’s hands in his, they were covered in little nick and cuts, bruises and calluses for working artefacts, fighting crime and being an all around badasses. 

“So that’s my favorite thing about you, this heart that cares for everyone. Even a worthless street rat like me.”

“Jay - "

Still clutching her hands in his, Jason Todd rested his lips on her lips to silence her. Her protest was genuine, but his past was his past. 

“And I love your beautiful mind. The mind that sees all the pain and consequences, thinking a gazillion moves ahead, alway thinking and feeling but never detaching from it all.”

Rubbing his nose against Raven’s, sharing her air, her very breath. Bathed in her sent, Jason Todd was the luckiest man alive. 

“You show up Rae!”

Raven finally blinked, squeezed his hands. She pulled him closer. 

“So” kiss on his cheek, “do” nip on his chin, “you!”. 

Teleporting them right off the recliner, onto the bed, Raven straddle him. 

Guess they were done talking. 

Raven became covered with shadows, they tugged at his sweater, and it was off.

His shoes and socks were next.

Phantom touches feathered against his chest, torso and arms, under his clothes, all while Raven lavished affectionate, light kisses all over his face. 

He felt hard and loved all at once.

A heady, addicting combination.  

When he looked at her, her cheek rubbing against his, her eyes filled with lust for him, her skin flush with heat he was responsible for.

He was a believer.
