Work Text:

Something different is in the air. It's not bad, but Bagi can't quite put her finger on what it is. However, for some reason, the Brazilian feels strong willpower even without having her daughter around.

She sighs and slowly rises from the couch in the dating room. Her back cracks, protesting after being in that position for over a day. After a brief stretching session, the hybrid navigates through the labyrinthine corridors of her base, heading towards the kitchen in search of a cup of tea.

Some might see this as a masochistic act, but unlike many people, tea hasn't become a reflux-inducing substance for her. It has been a tough few weeks, but the beverage reminds her of the sweet person who used to distribute tea to all the team members. Always taking care of everyone, even those who didn't seem like themselves anymore. Those who had done horrible things.

Bagi shakes her head and takes a sip of the hot drink. The warm steam reaches her face, but her expression remains unchanged. Her hands quickly reach for the portable device, and her eyes scan through recent conversations and inhabitants of the awakened island. On instinct, the device is tossed aside upon finding no sign of them being back.

One more day.

The Federation hasn't said anything about it, and she herself hasn't pursued it. For the first time, she was so afraid of the answer to her question that she would prefer not to investigate. To close herself off in her disillusionment.

Others have returned, they will come back too, sooner or later.

After emptying the teapot, Bagi hears hurried steps coming her way. The woman smiles upon recognizing the sounds that are becoming increasingly familiar.

— Mamãe Bagi! — writes the child on her brownish sign. — Did you sleep well?

The woman smiles and replies yes, getting up to hug the dragon-child. The girl reciprocates the affection, and when she pulls away, she starts writing quickly.

"Mamãe Bagi, I saw Omma Tina yesterday!"

— Que?! — Bagi stares at the message, momentarily stunned. — Is she here? In Quesadilla?

The girl nods, jumping and clapping her hands. Bagi smiles and joins in the child's excitement. She bombards the child with questions, mostly about how Tina was and what were Empanada's feelings about this first meeting.

— Ah, Empanada! You're so much like her. — the woman says, in a sweet tone. — She's going to be such a good mom to you!

The child responds with a faint smile and starts writing on her little board.

"I hope she stops confusing me with Leo, she doesn't even like me."

— Oh, Em. — Bagi says in a sad tone. — She must not have been well. She disappeared for two weeks! I bet she'll be better today. By the way… — The woman looks for her teleportation stone and holds it in her hand. — We could pay her a visit, what do you think?

The girl smiles more excitedly and writes a quick message.

"You're not even going to wait for her to wake up to see her, okay…"

Empanada smiles suggestively, and Bagi just teleports to the stone near Tina's house, trying to ignore the warmth in her cheeks.

Arriving there, the Brazilian walks quickly along the beautiful path to Tina's house. The place has been decorated by the girls who live here, and each one left a special touch. On other occasions, Bagi would stroll slowly along this path. She loves to observe and sometimes let herself imagine walking together with Tina through the rose beds. However, today her mind is focused on seeing if she's really back with her own eyes.

Bagi arrives in front of the hobbit door, and her heart seems to skip a beat. What should she do? Can she enter?

Well, breaking into other people's houses isn't a crime taken very seriously on this island, and she has entered Tina's house before, to leave messages. But now it's different. Empanada senses her hesitation, leaves a message behind, and goes through the door.

"The house is technically mine too, you can come in :D"

Bagi laughs and slowly enters the house, searching the surroundings. The house was still empty, with various chests full of construction materials scattered around. However, what caught her attention was the person sleeping on the floor.

Tina!

The woman walks in quick steps, trying not to wake her. Upon getting closer, Bagi understands the situation better. The bed was broken, as if someone had tried to push it, but it was too clumsy — or too strong — and broke one leg of the bed.

Tina doesn't move, lying on the floor with nothing to cover or lay on, seeming not to care about her current situation. Bagi averts her gaze, picks up the black blanket left on the bed, and covers the woman. Tina didn't move, but Bagi could swear she saw a faint smile appear on her face, or maybe she just sleeps smiling.

The child watches their interaction, not wanting to disturb her mothers, but she gently pulls her mother's clothes and hands Bagi a brownish sign.

"You were right; she's not okay. Didn't even care to sleep on the bed."

— Don't worry, Em. Soon, she'll wake up and be better. A good night's sleep solves almost all problems. — The woman whispers in response.

The girl nods her head and writes another message.

"Are we going to wait for her to wake up?"

Bagi almost gives an automatic yes, but she hesitates. Would it be strange if she waited in Tina's house? She's always telling other islanders that they are girlfriends, but they've never been on a date together. Perhaps Tina would find it odd if she waited for the other to wake up within the privacy of her home.

A whirlwind of possibilities invades the Brazilian's mind, but one thought stands out. A feeling of anxiety and distress. What if something happens to Tina? What if she disappears again, taken to another place, perhaps worse than purgatory?

She would never forgive herself if she lost her again.

Jorge seems to agree. Various voices in her head tell her to stay. To never leave her alone. In other situations, she thought of Jorge as emotional, but this time she decides to agree. It's a risk she doesn't want to take.

Empanada stares at her mother, awaiting her response, but only sees the woman with a glazed look, as if not entirely present. This isn't an uncommon situation, and the girl has gotten used to moments like these.

The woman seems to snap out of her trance and looks at the girl with a smile, as if nothing had happened, and whispers a yes to the girl, with both thumbs up. However, the woman seems to reconsider a bit and adds:

— Ah, but only if you want to, Empanada. If you want to go somewhere else...

Before she can finish, the girl gives her mother a light punch and starts writing her response.

"Don't worry, Mamãe. I want to wait here too."

Both smile at each other, but the child senses the relief in the older one's eyes. Her mother seemed to have a great need to be close to her other mom.

The girl asks if she could use the time to draw, and Bagi encourages her, asking to see all the drawings after she finishes. The child smiles and nods, running to the entrance window with her art supplies in hand.

As for Bagi, she takes off her coat and rolls up her sleeves. The run and anxiety made her warm, but she still felt energetic. The woman approaches the broken bed and assesses the situation. Of course, she's no carpenter, but Pac taught her a thing or two about furniture, and she has vague memories of fixing things during her time as a police officer. She can handle this.

However, fixing it will require making noise, and what the Brazilian doesn't want is to wake up her beloved. She sighs, gets up, and sits next to the sleeping woman. In this position, it seemed like none of it was real. Those weeks in that hell, the blood, and the cruel and endless battles. In Bagi's view, she was handling this situation very well. She didn't start hating anything that reminded her of there, like the masks or tea — she holds the memory of tea dearly — and didn't hold grudges against anyone from the red team, even her brother...

Without realizing, the woman runs her fingers through Tina's light hair. It seemed like a very natural movement until she felt two things on top of her head. She always thought it was a hair ornament, and sometimes it didn't even seem like there was anything there, but looking closer and touching, Bagi doesn't feel the texture of fabric or anything like that. She leans in to get a better look, but sees a movement from Tina and freezes.

Bagi stops and takes a deep breath. Whatever it is, she'll be told what they are at the right time. This doesn't change anything. In fact, it makes those demon-related phrases from her during Purgatory make much more sense now...

Bagi shakes her head, trying to dismiss the thoughts. She trusts Tina, and she won't force her to talk about it before she feels comfortable. Speculating without any basis leads to nothing good. She needs information, but about this, she prefers to wait for Tina to offer it herself.

The Brazilian sits for several minutes, sometimes watching the focused kid drawing, other times watching Tina sleep, always checking if she's breathing normally. After some time in this cycle, Bagi herself ends up falling asleep.

In her dreams, she sees Tina. She looks beautiful and smiles warmly at her. The woman is wearing a light dress and runs into her embrace. Bagi can swear she smells Tina's floral scent and hugs the woman in front of her even tighter. For the first time in weeks, Bagi slept well.

However, Bagi feels like she's waking up and mentally curses the entity responsible for such short sleep. She feels something warm and fragrant around her arms and tightens the embrace, not caring much because it's so comfortable. However, the warm and fragrant thing begins to move too and opens beautiful, awake brown eyes.

Oh. Oh.

They stare at each other, and Bagi doesn't know where to put her face. Her face turns into a big tomato, becoming redder and redder as she becomes fully aware of her situation. During sleep, somehow, she ended up lying down, and now the two are very close to each other.

Tina starts stammering some words that Bagi doesn't understand, and the two get up, moving away slowly. Then a battle of explanations begins, with both babbling nonsensical things, sometimes not even in English or Portuguese but in a language that neither of them understands. They stay like this for some time until Empanada appears with some papers in hand.

"Good morning, Mom Tina! Mãe Bagi and I were waiting for you to wake up."

The Korean lets out some squeals, looks at the two, and hides her face behind her hands.

— Oh my God, oh my God. Okay, okay. Oh my God, I think I'm still dreaming. — She looks at Bagi, who responds with a silly smile. Despite feeling as embarrassed as Tina, seeing her well and looking at her like that made her smile like a fool. — Oh my God, it's not a dream! Good morning, Empy. Oh my God, Bagi, I'm so sorry for grabbing you while I was sleeping. Actually, why were we sleeping together? Not that I minded. Oh my God. — The freshly awakened woman says as she walks around the house, stopping now and then to stare at one of them.

— Sorry, Tina, the idea of waiting for you to wake up was mine. I just... — Bagi hesitates. — I just wanted to make sure you were okay and that nothing would happen to you.

The woman in front of her looks like she's going to explode if she gets any redder. Tina lets out a few more squeals and spends the next few hours talking with Bagi and their daughter. Empanada smiles happily at seeing her two moms together and happy, showing the drawing she made of the three of them. They look at each other and say how perfect the drawing is and how much they love her.

Everything seemed fine, almost too fine. Despite everything, Bagi could occasionally see Tina's expression changing, as if remembering something. The Brazilian holds her hand and squeezes it when she sees her gaze shifting, and Tina always smiles in response. She even complimented Bagi's newly acquired muscles in Purgatory. It seems like all that ordeal was worth something.

Tina also notices Bagi acting a bit differently. She has always been alert to her surroundings, but now it seems like this behavior has tripled. She smiles, but Bagi can see her eyes are always restless, scanning the room and always keeping an eye on the door, as if someone could enter at any moment. Her body posture also seems more protective, with one arm around Bagi's shoulders and the other holding her hand. Not that Tina finds this last part bad, quite the opposite, but it still makes her sad to see her on guard all the time.

During the conversation, the three of them feel a vibration coming from the global communicator. Fit sent an excited message inviting everyone to visit his arena, as there would be a fight between him and Etoiles. Then, some people responded, like Pac with a "0-0" imitating Richarlyson, and Tubbo with a "let's fucking go!". Tina laughs in response and says she's going too, after confirming if the two want to go.

Empanada jumps with excitement. She loves Uncle Etoiles and always asks to see him battling someone. The three of them grab the teleportation stone and find themselves at the spawn. Ahead, Bagi can see some other islanders already in front of the arena, others running to the location.

Empanada sees Richas just ahead and runs towards him, leaving her mothers behind. Fortunately, since the area is crowded, nothing bad could happen, right? Bagi looks around and leans closer to Tina's ear.

— Stay close to me.

The shorter woman shivers, but in response, intertwines her arm with Bagi's and smiles mischievously.

— I could say the same to you.

The two look at each other for a few seconds and then look away at the same time. Despite being bold, the two still feel embarrassed when they are close to each other. Tina smiles but freezes when she runs her hand through her hair.

— Oh my God, I forgot. — The woman looks around, seeming anxious about something. — I'll be right back, I forgot something at home.

Bagi looks confused, but has a realization when she sees where Tina's hand was touching. She tries to look puzzled.

— Oh, sure, I'll come with you-

— No! — The woman covers her mouth, realizing the intensity. — No, no, it's okay! It's just an accessory I forgot, it's quick. You don't need to bother coming.

— Tina. — The Brazilian looks at her with tenderness. — You never bother me. I can go with you.

— No, Bagi. You're amazing, but I need to do this alone.

Something in Tina's tone makes Bagi shiver. A firmer and deeper tone that catches the woman by surprise. Tina realizes what she did and prepares to apologize a thousand times, but the Brazilian smiles and nods.

— Of course, go ahead.

Tina smiles in surprise, but doesn't waste time and returns to the village where her house is. When she is alone, Bagi sees Jorge staring at her with a mix of infatuation and terror, but in a good way. However, one side of them showed a certain anxiety.

"Why did we leave her alone?"

— She'll be fine, if my theory is correct, there's nothing that can harm her.

"Physically, but what about psychologically? Bagriela, you used to be more cautious."

— Calm down, Jorge. She'll be fine.

The woman says, more to herself than to the apparition in front of her. The being makes a disapproving expression but soon starts commenting on how beautiful Tina was and about her voice. Bagi rolls her eyes but silently agrees with the emotionally charged creature.

It'll be just a few minutes. She can wait here. Two, five, ten minutes pass. The place was emptying, and the teleportation stone wasn't leaving her hand. She wanted to go after her, see how she is, but she said she wouldn't. And if she went to her house, and Tina came here, and thought Bagi didn't wait for her?

The woman exchanges glances with Jorge, and both make the decision. Whatever it is, it's better for her to go check. Her hands won't stop trembling until she's sure everything is okay. Bagi uses the stone, and when she hears the characteristic teleportation sound, she walks quickly to the hobbit house, but still paying attention to her surroundings. If Purgatory taught her something, it's that someone could always be watching.

The place seemed calm. Too quiet. Even the leaves weren't moving, and Bagi felt all the hairs on her body stand on end. And her heart stops when she sees the house's door wide open. As she rushes there, she sees Tina's hair accessory thrown on the ground.

Bagi feels the blood drain from her face. For a second, she felt like she was going to die right there. The hybrid searches the house, but nothing was left behind, only the accessory. In desperation, Bagi types a message to Pac, asking if Empanada was with him and if anyone besides the two of them were missing from the fight location. He responds saying that everyone is there, and Empanada is worried, and Richas is trying to calm her. She also sends more messages to Tina, which continue unanswered.

How could she let this happen? The voices get louder, all in a tone of concern. They blame Cucurucho, blame the island, blame even Fit. Some are hopeful, and others are marking the suicide date. Bagi sits on the floor and tries to calm herself with breathing exercises.

Time passes, and Bagi doesn't know how much. The place has become silent again, interrupted rarely by some vibrations from the communicator with messages about the fight. But still nothing from Tina. The woman continued sitting on the floor, trying to reason what could have happened. From what her brother said, kidnapping is not uncommon on the island. But for what reason? She was never strongly anti-federation, and neither did she do something that could make them want to punish her through her. Only if...

The silence was broken by light footsteps coming from outside. Bagi hides and firmly holds her frying pan with both hands. She looks through the window and sees a worker. They seemed a bit lost, looking around with spyglass and checking a book. Finally, they seem to understand the way and run towards the center of the island. Bagi takes a deep breath, feeling her heart racing.

Bagi follows the worker, avoiding being noticed by the featureless white bear. In other situations, she felt empathy, even pity for them, but at that moment, she feels furious. Perhaps her brother wasn't so wrong.

Bagi shakes her head, dispersing these angry thoughts. Her focus now is different and much more critical. She sees them heading towards the train station, using a teleportation sign to the Federation. Bagi looks towards Fit's academy, where even with the ring being underground, the noise is audible to her. She wonders if it would be better to warn them, but she doesn't want to waste time. However, she has to wait for some time before entering the Federation, so she types a message to Pac and steps on the platform.

"If something happens, ask Cucurucho about it."

Upon entering the Federation, Bagi feels the familiar air of the place. A sweet, clean scent. The white walls that always stay pristine and perfect. She remembers the first time she saw this place and was amazed. But today, she doesn't have time to appreciate the architecture. She sees the worker going towards a room, and a teleportation sound is heard again. The woman walks quickly through the area, trying to avoid making noise. When she arrives, she steps on the plate without ceremony and is taken to a place she has never seen before.

The place is white, like almost all Federation buildings, but the scent resembles more of a hospital environment. Some machine sounds are heard, and Bagi can confirm that it is a hospital.

Despite being apparently a hospital, the place looks more like a prison. Several rooms, and all doors seem securely locked with thick glass.

Some beds are occupied by workers, others by guards, and they all seem to be sleeping. She ignored all of them but noticed some similarities. Several seemed to be seriously injured or contaminated with codes.

Bagi kept her distance from them, but noticed that everyone seemed to be restrained to the hospital beds by wrists and legs. What the hell are they doing to them? And why all this protection to prevent them from escaping?

The woman hurries her pace and sees a door at the end of the hallway. This seems to be a larger room, and when she looks through the glass, she sees her.

Tina.

But not just her. That lost worker is taking notes in their book, while Tina seems unconscious, with something being injected into her vein. Bagi's blood boils with the situation. Her desire is to forcefully enter the room, but the door can probably only be opened by an employee. So, she waits, observing inside the room. Tina's hair is a bit messy, and her body is almost entirely covered with a thin hospital blanket. Her clothes are the same, and Bagi sighs in relief.

After a while, the employee seems to finish their notes and turns towards the door. Bagi hides beside the entrance, with her frying pan in hand. She takes a deep breath, preparing for the attack. When the door opens, the employee passes without seeing her, and when he prepares to close the door, a loud noise is heard, and the worker falls stiff to the ground.

Bagi's breathing becomes irregular, but that doesn't matter to her now. She holds the door so it doesn't close on its own and kicks the worker to keep him out of the way. Upon entering, she notices the presence of cameras and flips off whoever is on the other side.

Approaching the bed, Bagi touches Tina's face. Her temperature is high, but the Brazilian hopes it's nothing more than a fever. They can deal with this later. She quickly releases the restraints on Tina's hands and feet, noticing the redness from being too tight. One more reason to curse the Federation.

— Tina, meu amor, everything will be okay. — Bagi removes the needle stuck in the woman's vein. — Tina, I promise I'll get you out of here, and they'll never touch you again. I'll never leave you alone again.

An alarm sounds, but Bagi doesn't care. She picks up Tina in her arms and carries her out of the room while making promises she doesn't know if she can keep, but sincerely hopes to. Each one of them, from declarations of love to promises to destroy the Federation.

When she passes through the door, she sees several guards, some confused, but one noticed her presence and shot in her direction, alerting the others. Fortunately, Bagi manages to run and pass through a corridor to her left. The steps behind her intensify, but she keeps running.

Bagi hears more shots, and several hit the wall in front of her. She tries to protect her lover's body, praying to any entity for her protection.

The corridors seem to get colder and colder. Bagi's ears are ringing with the constant noise of the alarm, but the latina doesn't stop, and she can't. However, her luck seems to have run out when she reaches the end of the corridor and sees only a white door, unlike the other hospital rooms. Bagi looks back, calculating if there's time to turn back, but the steps are too close.

Cursing even the tenth generation of Cucurucho, Bagi uses the last burst of energy she has and with her back, throws herself at the door, hoping to open it this way. A loud sound of breaking wood is heard, and a sharp pain emanates from her right shoulder. Bagi falls backward to the floor, sliding to the middle of the room due to the smooth floor. She hits her head, and when she looks up, she realizes she hit a table.

Tina continues in her arms, now held with more strength. Bagi tries to get up, but the adrenaline seems to be fading, giving way to various points of pain spread throughout the Brazilian's body. Hearing the steps, Bagi feels tears streaming down her face. Frustration, anger, sadness, and so many other feelings that she can't describe. But most importantly, she failed once again to keep the promise she made so long ago, that she would protect her from everything. Bagi almost laughs at the absurdity of the situation. Of all promises, this is the one she broke the most.

She holds Tina's hand, and feels a weak squeeze in response. She looks into Tina's eyes, but she doesn't seem fully awake. Still, the Korean looks worriedly at her, and with difficulty holds her face.

— I'm so, so sorry.

She should have made a better plan, should have called someone, once again she failed someone, and this time the consequences could be deadly.

— Ha ha ha.

A familiar sound comes from behind the women lying on the floor. Like a ghost, Cucurucho appears, walking until he stands in front of the two, looking down at them. The guards appear behind them, pointing guns towards them.

— What are you doing?

— Saving her from your dirty paws. — Bagi says with the little strength she has left. — Do whatever you want with me, but don't mess with my family, never again!

A few drops of blood come out with the last sentence, and the bear laughs again in response.

— The tests have already been done, she can go now. — he picks up something from the table and tries to inject it into Bagi. Without strength, she just accepts whatever it is, and looking closely she recognizes it as a syringe with a purple substance. She feels a mild pain, but then all the pains in her body don't seem to hurt anymore, and she slowly stands up, along with Tina, still in her arms.

The bear asks them to follow him, and with a clouded mind and seeming anesthetized, Bagi walks slowly behind the humanoid. At the back of the room, she sees another teleportation sign, and the three are taken back to the train station. The white being stares at Bagi expressionlessly and bids farewell with a laugh.

— I hope you enjoy the island.

Bagi looks around lost. Slowly, she makes her way to the academy, hearing cheers with each step. She wanted so much to have been there with her, to have a normal relationship, to have a normal life, but with every new thing she learns about herself, this island seems to have always been a part of her. And it's no use running away; she always comes back here.

The Brazilian enters the place and sees the secret staircase open. Someone is coming up the stairs, and before she can see who it is, Bagi feels the adrenaline draining again, and before passing out, she hears voices approaching.

— Fuck, is that blood…

— Hey, help here!

And the world went completely black. Bagi doesn't know how long she stayed like that. For her, it was like waking up from a deep dream. When she opened her eyes, she saw a bright ceiling, but not the same shade of white as the Federation. The air was different too, and when she turned her face, she saw that what separated the beds were hospital curtains, not concrete walls.

She feels her hand warming, and when she looks to the side, she sees a sleeping Tina, sitting in a chair next to her bed. Bagi holds her hand tighter and scans with her eyes for injuries on Tina, but she seems fine. They both were fine.

Bagi feels a weight lifted off her shoulders and lets out a deep sigh. She tries to get up, but a pain in her shoulder surprises her, and she lets out a scream of pain. Her hand is squeezed, and when Bagi looks in Tina's direction, the woman awakens and gets up.

— My God, Bagi. — Tina holds her face with both hands. — My God, are you in pain? I'll call the doctor.

Bagi places her hands over Tina's, preventing her from leaving. They both look into each other's eyes, and the Brazilian smiles.

— I'm fine, it hurts because I got up too fast. — Tina smiles and sits on the bed, both now eye to eye.

They talk about each other's situation. Tina mentions the shots Bagi took, and noticing the guilty look, Bagi approaches slowly and hugs her with her good arm. Tina doesn't remember what happened in that place, just that she was leaving home and felt a strong pain in her neck, probably an injection.

Both remain in the embrace, in a more comfortable position where Tina takes up half the bed and leans on Bagi's good shoulder, and Bagi hugs with her good arm. The Brazilian still had some serum to take, and they spent the time waiting, talking about the future.

Bagi wants to build a place for Tina in her house. "To have a place to stay if it's too late and I've left Empanada in her room," was the excuse given by her. Tina talks about making a big room for both of them, and the machine recording heartbeats warns of the rising frequency of beats. Both smile, and Bagi gently holds Tina's chin, depositing a kind kiss on her cheek.

Before she can reciprocate, Cellbit appears in the Ordo hospital room. He looks surprised at the two, but smiles and raises his eyebrows twice at Bagi, who seemed like she was going to dig a hole right there and hide. Tina, on the other hand, approaches Bagi even more, making the Brazilian shiver.

— Are you feeling cold, Bagi? You're all shivering.

— Fuck off, Cellbit. What are you doing here?

— I came to see if everything is okay, but I can see that you're in good company, ma'am.

— She really is, scram. — Tina says in a playful tone, but Bagi notices a certain sincerity that warms her heart.

Cellbit laughs and raises both hands in a surrender gesture before leaving, saying something about letting the others know she woke up and is more than fine. Bagi rolls her eyes and laughs at her friend's actions, until she feels a hand holding her chin, making her look at Tina.

Her face heats up, seeing the darkened eyes in front of her. A powerful aura invades the room, but Bagi doesn't feel threatened. The place seems warmer, and Bagi feels comfortable. Her eyes still meet Tina's, expressing a mix of emotions.

— I haven't been completely honest with you, sweetheart. But I want to fix that when you can get out of here. — The hand on her chin holds her gently, and Bagi relaxes at the touch.

— Whatever it is, I imagine you have your reasons. You don't have to tell me something you don't want to. I can wait until you're more comfortable.

Tina looks surprised, but a relieved smile escapes her rosy lips. Bagi finds herself staring more than she should at the area and looks away, embarrassed. The Korean smiles and also uses the other hand to hold her beloved's face.

Approaching slowly, Tina touches her lips to Bagi's, trying to suppress all her desire and instincts to avoid scaring her. A sweet kiss, smelling like tea. But unlike other occasions, the memory of the drink didn't bring reflux. It was her aroma, and she would never find it repulsive.

Tina pulls away, but touches both cheeks and smiles with a blushing expression, even though she knows she must have a similar reaction. In the absence of a response, Tina fears the worst and rushes to apologize, but is silenced by Bagi's lips. The woman shows experience, surprising and leaving Tina bashful. However, she doesn't force something intense and takes her time to savor the moment. Her good arm holds behind Tina's neck, and the Brazilian feels her shiver and gives even more.

They separate slowly, ending the kiss with small pecks. Bagi leans their foreheads together, and they both gaze at each other and laugh. For Bagi, hearing Tina's laughter was like smelling a book. Both brought her comfort, and it was something she would do anything to protect.

At that moment, nothing else matters. Cucurucho, Federation, or any other faction. In that moment, the most important thing in the world was in front of her, and they would figure out the rest later.
