Work Text:

Oh, Akumu just couldn't stand that Hikaru.

After all – who does she think she is?! She was the only one with cool magical powers before she came to the city! And now– suddenly– Hikaru is the super popular one everyone's talking about.

What gives! Akumu's done so much more damage than Hikaru's done good. Akumu takes nasty and puts it into overdrive!

Akumu's goals were simple: break up as many couples as she could. Her powers leant well to this goal, easily severing the ties of the most intimate of lovers with the swipe of her staff and a little – yet awesome – chant.

And it was great!

Those pesky lovers and their…lovey-dovey… loving… love! They're so annoying! Always clogging up the restaurants and stuff during those dumb lovey-dovey holidays… all that gross PDA in public… all the drama she has to listen to at school…

The world would be better off without such love-obsessed nitwits!

Akumu should have known she'd be a huge pain in the ass! Transfer students with bright pink hair are always bad news! But why did it have to be in her class…?!

That Hikaru and her… stupid, goofy magical girl outfit! Akumu's was a really cool and awesome black and red! But Hikaru's was a fluffy and cute pink and white with so many frills and cute ribbons…

N-no, a gaudy and tacky pick and white! And who cares about ribbons anyway?! They're totally inconvenient and get caught on stuff way too easily!

It wasn't like Akumu liked watching her do her magic. The way her dress flowed in the wind, and her cotton-candy pink hair was illuminated by the light of her wand's magic… or her totally dumb and stupid speeches about how important love and junk is when she restores those couples' loves… or that dumb… charming smile of hers when she feels so accomplished at the end of the day.

No, she didn't like it at all! That Hikaru was totally ruining everything! Clouding Akumu's brain with so many unnecessary thoughts about love!

Ugh, that Hikaru.

She's not even good at hiding her identity. Akumu can't help but wonder how everyone at school doesn't know that she's that super famous mythical magical girl. Akumu's much better at keeping it lowkey.

Ah, well, good for Akumu at least. It'll be so easy to scope out Hikaru's weak point to stop her from disrupting all of Akumu's hard work.

Gazing at her, finding out all her interests, what she likes to do, seeing what type of food she likes, what kind of girls she's interested in, her ideal hang out spots–

–all for the sake of taking her down, of course—

–it'll all be so easy.

Well, that's for tomorrow, for when they go to school.

Right now, Akumu has her eyes on a particularly sickeningly lovey-dovey couple holding hands she needs to put an end to immediately.

She definitely won't let Hikaru win today.
