Chapter Text
Flashback:
Pigsy and Tang have been dating for 6-7 months now, no one knew about it since well- they were in a very homophobic school so they’ve been dating in secret and still get bullied a lot, mainly tang. The bullying got worse and Pigsy isn’t doing well either and hid it from his boyfriend. Eventually Tang caught on, “Are you alright? You don’t look.. well.” The boy sounded worried. “I’m fine, I promise.” Pigsy forced a smile, assuring Tang it was fine before sighing. “You know you can tell me, right?” Tang placed his hand on Pigsy’s face, still pretty worried. “Mhm, I know.” He kissed Tang on the lip, they were in Pigsy’s dorm and it’s starting to get dark out. “Don’t you have homework to finish?” “Eh, I’ll finish it before class starts.” “Alright, get some rest. Kay?” Tang huffed. “You too.” They smiled softly. “I will, don’t worry.” “Cya tomorrow?” “Yeah.. tomorrow. One more kiss before you leave?” “Sure.” Little did he know, it was their last and final kiss and the last time he’ll ever see pigsy. The next morning, Tang got ready as usual and waited outside of his boyfriend’s dormitory. Class was about to start, he knocked on the door. No answer. Tang knocked once more, maybe Pigsy overslept? I mean, after all, Pigsy is a heavy sleeper but would wake up on time. “Pigsy? Are you in there?” He called, knocking once more before barging in. “Pigsy, are you-.” Tang gasped in horror as their eyes widened in pure horror, trying not to scream. “PIGSY!” He screamed, the custodian heard the scream as Tang hugged his boyfriend who isn’t alive anymore. The custodian quickly called the ambulance after seeing the scene while Tang sobbed. “PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ME HERE!” They cried, praying this was all a dream.
Years have past, Tang is in his mid twenties now, just recently finished college and opened his own library and Sandy visits occasionally to keep tang company. A picture of tang and pigsy sits by the counter, he’d always have his hair half up in the same red ribbon Pigsy would have on. Kids would come here daily and always ask Tang to read them a story and ofc they agreed since it wasn’t a big deal at all, he enjoyed reading to the little ones. The popular request was ‘Journey to the West.’ They really seem to enjoy that story. As he was locking up the library, there was a little boy, lost standing in front of the library. “Kid- what are you doing here? Where’s your parents..?” The librarian picked up the dirty boy as he scanned the area, no one. Maybe he got lost? Well, that’s kinda impossible. The lost kid stared at Tang, he was really dirty and didn’t have any clothes other than socks. He sighed before taking the boy in. “Let’s get you cleaned up and fed.” After bringing the lost boy to his small home that wasn’t too far from the library since he was the only one living there, now there’s two. Luckily there was an extra room that was never used, Tang brought the child to the bathroom and started bathing the child. The boy never said a single word, “Why would someone just randomly drop you off?” He sighed. “You’re a quiet one, aren’t you?” They continued to wash him as he joked. “I’m assuming you don’t have a name, do you?” The lost boy shook his head. “What about Qi xiaotian?” He nodded. “And done, I don’t have any extra clothes for you but I’ll buy some tomorrow when I have time.” Tang picked up MK and put on an old jacket over MK and buttoned it up. “Feel free to look around while I make something for you” He smiled while MK wandered around.
