Years Ago…
It was dark, like really dark, little to no lights illuminated the amazing circus, it was also rather quiet too, nothing could be heard except the sound of running footsteps echoing throughout the place. A man was running as fast as he could, he could hear something still on his tail chasing him.
He kept running and running down a hallway that seemed to go on forever until he finally reached the end, then quickly ran over to a spot where he could hide from the person who was after him, after a period of silence… “I know you’re here somewhere, you can run…but you can’t hide .” The man’s voice echoed throughout the place.
The man’s breath hitched as he said that, he remained as quiet as he could until he heard footsteps once more, this time, they were moving away from him, finally, the footsteps were quiet enough to where he could breathe a sigh of relief, he then peaked just make sure, sur enough, he was gone.
He got up from his spot and tip toe as quietly as he could, making sure the thing wasn’t following him, “I gotta find a way out of this place.” He quietly whispered to himself, it was a little hard to see as the place wasn’t filled with lighting anywhere and if there was, it was in a few certain places.
As he continued tip-toeing around the place, he could make out something in the shadows. It looked to be a red door, he got a little closer to see it read “Exit” on it, the man just stared for a moment, then chuckled to himself, “Bingo.” He whispered as she reached for the handle, but as he did, the door just…faded away.
“N…No.” The man whispered to himself as it faded away, “Well, well, well, looks like I finally found you once more.” The thing that was chasing him came from the darkness, the man just backed away, as he did, he suddenly fell backwards into some type of pit, the fall lasted a bit before he landed in what felt like…water.
He looked around, there was nothing around him except water, he looked back up at the thing, the thing grabbed one end of the hole and the other, “No, no, NOOOO!!” Was all the man could do, the thing just chuckled with glee, “Sorry bud, but Game Over .” He said and shut the hole, leaving the man stuck there… forever .
