Work Text:
Aaaghhh!! I cried out, angry and in pain from my period.
Spencer rushed into the room, and yelled,
“What’s wrong?! Are you okay?!”
“Period pain!!,” I whined to my boyfriend.
“Ohh. My poor sweetheart, come here,” he said, walking over to the bed and wrapping his arms around me. I threw mine around him and cried into his torso.
“Can I get you anything?,” he asked, still a little unsure of the whole procedure.
“Some panadol. And my hot water bottle would good too. Thanks.” I said between sniffs.
“Of course, I’ll be back soon,” he said, kissing my forehead.
When he came back I was still in pain, but smiled at seeing him in my doorway. He handed me my hot water bottle and let me put it on my stomach before giving me the panadol and a glass of water to take them with.
“Is that a bit better my darling?” He asked.
I nodded and thanked him, and held his warm hand in mine.
Just as he was about to turn to leave I asked him in a small voice,
“Will you stay here?”
He turned abruptly and looked at me first in shock, and then his eyes immediately softened.
“Anything for you.”
I opened the blankets for him and let him climb in to my bed. As he settled in next to me he whispered,
“Is this okay?”
“More than okay,” I said, cupping his face and kissing his cheek.
He put my CD of rainforest sounds on and cuddled up to my side, softly stroking my face and upper arms.
A while later when the hot water bottle had gone warm I started to feel more pain, and Spencer noticed me wincing.
“Bad again?,” he asked to confirm.
“Yeahhh,” I dragged out.
“Can I rub your stomach sweetie?”
“That’d be lovely, thanks honey.”
He moved to sit lightly on my legs, hovering over my lower stomach.
“I’m not too heavy on your legs am I?” He asked, concerned.
I shook my head and he began to gently knead my lower tummy with his large hands.
I closed my eyes and sighed happily as the pain ebbed away and thoughts of my loving boyfriend filled my mind.
“Mmm, you’re so good to me Spence,” I mumbled. He broke his concentration and gazed at me adoringly.
“You deserve it,” he whispered, before leaning down to plant smoochy kisses on my tummy. After the fourth he looked up at me and grinned that smile that made my heart melt.
“Come here you,” I grinned back at him.
Having relieved some of my pain he carefully crawled up and held me in his arms as we fell asleep together in a blissful afternoon slumber.
