Ritsu is aware that he shouldn't sleep this much, but he just can't. How long has he been in his room? Days? Weeks?
Who knows, the rest of the knights and his friends are all worried about him.
They all knew about the incident that had happened. They all knew how Mao and Ritsu were very close each other.

The two of them were walking home together having small talks along the way.
It was all good until…They were walking on a crosswalk until a something from afar was coming in speed. It took a small movement for them to react until Mao quickly pushed Ritsu away from the crosswalk. A sudden loud crash between the man and the car.
It was a moment, a tragic moment. Ritsu laying on the side walk, bewildered about everything that had just happened.
People who also witnessed it were all surprised, everyone was filming on their cameras, all surrounding Mao’s body. Ritsu shoved other people away without a second thought just to be there with him.
An ambulance came and Mao was rushed to the hospital.
Only for Ritsu to be there outside the operation room, waiting, waiting waiting. Wait what? The surgeon came out of the operating room with a upsetting face that wasn’t too visible but Ritsu could tell..”We tried our best. I’m sorry.”
Oh. what? that didn’t happen right? This must be a joke, right? “I’m sorry.”
The surgeon bowed and politely walked away leaving Ritsu left alone once again with his hands twitching.
That day when Mao was announced dead was one of the most horrible feeling that Ritsu had ever felt.
It all happened so fast, too fast. Ritsu didn’t like it at all. In fact, he hated it.

Ritsu reacted fast before Mao could. The was honking as it passed by. They were saved, thankfully. They arrived back in their apartment. Ristu forming small tears in the corner of his eyes. Those tears weren’t only sadness but also a sense of relief that he was able to save his closet friend that ever knew.
Ritsu’s tears rolled down his checks.
Mao saw them and immediately hugged him without hesitation. “Haha we almost died there haven’t we? Well, it’s okay, we’re okay now. So don’t cry, you saved us.”
"Sorry"
"What?"
"I'm sorry, Maa-kun"
"Ritsu..."
Ritsu hugs mao tightly and sobs on his shoulder
Mao gave a light comforting smile "It's alright Rit-chan, everything will be okay"
If only he wished it was okay, he wished it could've been just like that
if only he wasn’t--never mind.

There's a knock on the door
Ritsu slowly wakes up with his pillow soaked in tears.
"Oh? You're awake, I was worried you may not wake up again haha" Ah his elder brother, Rei Sakuma who still took care of him after Mao had passed. "It's a arashi" she said outside the room with a soft voice. "Aren't you going to answer it?" Said Rei.
Ritsu turns to the other side of the bed not facing his older brother. He doesn't know why should she be here after all that has happened.
“She’s worried, we all are.” Ritsu jsut sitting on his bed reflecting on what had just happened on his mind while Arashi and Rei waits for a response from him. They are both aware that it will take some time for him to answer.
It only took minute, one short minute. “I’ll answer it.”
With a straight reply like that, Rei wasn’t surprised, in fact, he was relieved that Ritsu was slowly starting to come to his senses.
Ritsu opens the door to see Arashi.
"Oh hello Ristu"
"What do you want"
"I just wanted to check up on you if were doing okay…I see your brother is here no?"
Ritsu turns his back and sees Rei waving at them with a smile
"Oh, yeah"
"Well I just wanted to ask if you um, if you would like to go out to drink with me, don't worry I wont bring other people."
There was a pause of silence
"I'll think about it."
"It's alright if you don't want to come. I just hope you're alright after--"
"It's all good I guess, I'll go with you"
"Really?" Said Arashi with a concerned look.
"Sure" Ritsu doesn’t know where he’s going with this but it has been a while since he has met Arashi.
“…I’ll be waiting inside the cafe where were usually go to on Sunday”
