Chapter 1: The Fight.
Chapter Text
----
"Watch where you're going, pipsqueak"
Mercury sighs; "Leave me alone, Venus." Venus raises a brow "Or what? I don't take orders from dwarfs." He snickers.
"I'm serious, Venus, I'm not in the mood for it right now." Mercury grumbles, gritting his teeth. "What are you gonna do, fight me?" The larger celestial put his hands on his hips. Mercury went silent, staring off into the distance.
"Exactly, you're too small and wimpy to lay a finger on me." "Are you just gonna insult me or what?" Mercury glared at Venus, who smirked at him, "Maybe, Maybe not." He shrugged.
Mercury groaned, annoyed continuing his orbit. Venus followed him, being oddly close. Mercury could sense Venus' presence which irritated him even more. And to the others pleasure, he resumed taunting Mercury, calling him all sorts of names. Even calling him the dwarf planet slur a few times.
Mercury was tired of it. He's tired of being bullied by this..Hot headed piece of shit just because he was smaller. He's still larger than Pluto. He has a clear orbit. Why can't Venus understand that.
Enough is enough.
"Will you honestly shut up?!" Mercury snapped, pushing Venus from behind him. "Woah, you're quite feisty for a dwarfie." The Arcadian chuckled. "I'm NOT a DWARF planet; my orbit is clear and I'm larger than Pluto!" He exclaimed, filipendulous. "Don't you have anything better to do other than bothering me?"
Venus just laughed. It seemed that all of Mercury's pleas went on deaf ears. This isn't fair. Why does he have to go through all of this torment.
"Why? Is the dwarfie gonna cry?" Venus mocked, doing a crying motion with his hands.
"STOP IT VENUS. JUST STOP! IM SICK AND TIRED OF ALL YOUR BULLYING." Mercury barked making Venus flinch, though he kept his composure.
"ok." "YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE..LIKE IM WORTHLESS, THAT I DON'T MATTER A-AND YOU JUST KEEP ON-" Mercury shouted, venom lacing his tone. He could feel tears start to prick his eyes.
By now, His yelling had caught the other planets attention. "YOUR STUPID WORDS HURT. THEY HURT OK? YOU'VE MADE ME INSECURE AND- AND I DON'T LIKE MYSELF BECAUSE OF YOU." Venus shrunk back, not exactly expecting Mercury to lash out on him.
"Damn, I was just mess in' around-"
"Messing around?" Mercury's eye twitched, his mind full of fury and rage, not even noticing the stream of tears running from his eyelets. "YOU THINK 'MESSING AROUND' IS AN EXCUSE? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH OF YOUR TORMENT IVE HAD TO DEAL WITH."
Venus went quiet, glancing to the side. He could feel the others' eyes on him and Mercury. Gosh he hated it.
"4.5 BILLION YEARS! I-I'VE HAD TO DEAL WITH YOU FOR 4.5 YEARS VENUS." The smaller celestial choked out, covering his face as more water ran down. Venus cringed, crossing his arms. "Uhmm..I'm..Sorry?"
"Sorry isn't gonna fix all the times I've wanted- No, HAVE hurt myself because of you." Mercury admit. Venus nearly questioned him on it- But nooo he's a bitch.
"I hate you, Venus."
And he rushed into the asteroid belt, weeping.
"Not cool man, not cool."
Mars came over. He had a displeased look on his face, clearly judging Venus on his actions. He squinted his eyes at the larger planet, whom looked down at him, a small drop of sweat started to fall till it was evaporated by Venus' acidic temperature. "C'mon Venus, 4.5 billion years?"
"Are you seriou-" "YES- Yes I am," Mars cut him off. Venus rolled his eyes. "You never let him join our card games, he's just stuck with the Sun all the time being bored out of his mind; Y'know how that feels man?" Aphrodite went quiet- again. Honestly he really doesn't know what to say or do.
The Sun turned around at the mention of his name, but noticing Mars and Venus' expressions, he kept silent and turned back around, minding his business. "You should go apologize to him." Ares sighed, pinching the space between his eyes. "I'll let you think about that, I have a card game to get back to." And with that Mars left, leaving Venus alone to his thoughts.
It looked like he didn't care, but in all seriousness he was worried.
And disappointed.
Not at anyone but himself. I mean..Bullying someone to the point they hurt themselves?
Venus growled, leaving to his orbit.
ཫ꙳✱(•)✱꙳ཀ
Mercury hid in the asteroid belt, sobbing into his arms in a fetal position. He hated Venus. He hated his stupid face..His stupid clothes, The way he talked- Everything about him.
Sniffling, he wiped his eyes, looking up into the distance. He could see Jupiter and Saturn chatting amongst each other, lovingly.
Gross.
Y'know what, he hates them too.
He hates everyone.
A/N: LOSER
Mercury sighs, slapping himself in the face. "Mercury you're not thinking straight.." He peeped, resting his head on a nearby asteroid
Slowly, he slipped into unconsciousness, allowing the darkness of his eyes consume him.

Chapter Text
--------
It was late, all the planets were asleep-- Except for one.
Mercury.
He was waiting in the asteroid belt, occasionally looking out to see if anyone was awake.
Confirming all were out, he made his move to Venus' orbit, holding a rather large asteroid.
Once Mercury arrived, he stared sickly at the sleeping Aphrodite. How pathetic.
Without another thought, be raised the asteroid above his head, ready to strike Venus.
He held it there, hesitating. Sweat started to pool down his face.
Mercury sighed, dropping the asteroid. "I can't do this.." He mumbled, covering his face, Tears threatening to pour out his eyelets.
‘Do it Mercury.’
Startled, Mercury removed his hands from his face, looking around for the source of sound.
"Wh-Who said that..?" He asked, frightened.
‘Don't worry about that. You were gonna kill him right? Do it.’
Mercury could feel his chest tighten as he stared at the asteroid from before. He swallowed the lump in his throat. Shaking his head rapidly.
"I-I'm NOT doing that.." He hissed, backing up from Venus. "Besides, Whoever you are, I don't think I'm skilled enough to kill someone." Mer' pointed out.
‘Good point. Try someone easier.’
Mercury went stiff. "Like who? I don't have any grudge against anyo-"
‘Pluto.’
He nearly choked. "Wh- WHAT-"
‘They keep comparing you to him, you're not a dwarf planet, are you?’
"N-no.." Mercury despised being called a dwarf planet. Just because he was smaller than everyone else, doesn't mean he's one of them. And, he has a clear orbit. Pluto doesn't. Sucks to suck.
"I'm not too sure about..Doing this whole...Killing thing-- Pluto didn't even do anything to me!" He quaked.
‘Riddle me this, if there's no Pluto, who will they compare you to?’
...
‘No Pluto, no name calling.
You're independent. Be your own person, dwarfie.’
Mercury growled, "Fine, this is a one time thing though." He stated, grabbing the large asteroid and starting his journey to the kuiper belt.
‘Good choice, Mercury.’
"I'll be back, ok Charon?" Pluto remarked, sitting up from his asteroid made bed. His moon, Charon nodded.
Yes, he should've been asleep like the other dwarf planets, but celestials simply didn't need sleep. They just picked it up since Earthlings did it. He hates the Earthlings.
Anyways, Pluto sought more asteroids for his makeshift bed— Which he wasn't gonna use.
He passed a couple of rocks, of all lengths, occasionally checking how far he was from his satellite. Once he found a place with medium sized asteroids, he started to gather them; Humming a tune, Pluto hadn't noticed the familiar celestial that was watching him.
They crept closer, much to Pluto's demise. And with their boulder, they struck Pluto in his head.
"AGH-" The dwarf planet yelped, dropping his asteroids— And himself.
Pluto turned around, grasping the side of his head. He averted his gaze to see whom had hit him. "Mer- MERCURY?!" He screeched, his eyes dilating.
Mercury sighed, "Don't make this difficult." He murmured, striking Pluto again. The dwarf screamed, using his hands to shield anymore attacks. "Mercury w-WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS I-" Mercury bashed his head anew; Pluto started wailing, his hands being scraped from the asteroid, his head bleeding.
"EVER SINCE YOUR STUPID DEMOTION-" Mer' struck Pluto again, his sobs becoming louder. "EVERYONES BEEN USING IT TO TAUNT ME." Pluto could hardly see, the blood gushing out his open wound clot his vision and it started to spread into his other eye. Yikes.
"WHENEVER I GO TO SLEEP, I'M SCARED. I'M SCARED OF BECOMING ONE OF YOU..DWARFS." Mercury kicked Pluto on his side, the smaller celestial wailing heavily. "I-IS TH-THAT WHAT THIS— THIS IS ABOUT? I- I WONT T-TELL ANY- A-ANYONE PLEASE MERC-" Hades choked.
He could feel his eyeball popping out of its socket. It burned. So bad.
A/N: loser can't relate
"M..Mercury- We-" He gagged, barley being able to lift a finger at Hermes whom was blinded by rage. "We..We can ta-Talk about thi-" "NO." The planet slammed the asteroid into Pluto's face once more. The other cried out, loudly. God Damnit are the other celestial deaf or what?
‘YEAHHH TELL HIM TO SHUT UP.’
"SHUT UP PLU-BITCH." Mercury hollered at said person who STILL wouldn't shut the fuck up. Pluto was so badly damaged, he couldn't say a word anymore. Maybe Mercury crushed his vocal cords. Good.
‘ok I never said say that’
Mer' lifted the asteroid above his head, letting out a screech before finally, finishing the job.
He stared at Pluto's lifeless body. His face was cluttered, it no longer looked anything like him. The only way to identify Pluto could be by his clothing, other than that, Pluto? Who.
Mercury panted, dropping the now weapon. He heaved, clasping his hands over his mouth, looking at the bloodied mess he created.
"Oh my gosh.." He gulped, backing away from Pluto's corpse.
‘Yass!! Good job slay queen!’
Mercury looked around frantically. "Wh-What if someone f-finds out I did this I-" He stammered, biting his nails. "I've never done anything l-like this before I-"
‘Hey..Don't worry I'm not a cop.’
Mercury raised his brow. "THIS ISN'T THE TIME FOR JOKES!" He blurted, shivering. Every time his gaze came to Hades', a sick feeling emerged in his stomach.
‘Sorry I like that one’
"I..I seriously don't know what to do..I'm- I'm a murder.." Hermes' eyebrows furrowed into a look of worry. "I'm a monster." He mumbled, his throat feeling dry. Mercury could feel the sweat rush down his forehead as the adrenaline died down. Yes, he just commit a felony, but he's scared of being caught. Loser.
"What do I do.." Mercury sighs, rubbing his temples anxiously.
‘Ever heard of framing lil' boy?’

——-
"Heyyy cousin!"
Neptune smiled sweetly, circling where his neighbor, Uranus stood. "Uhm..Hi mate." The other giant greeted, his eyes glued to his journal.
Neptune blinked slowly, staring at Ura intensively; Uranus tried to ignore him, quite uncomfortable. "Sayy, didn't we have mooonns?"
"I- eh- wh- Youhadmoons? I MEAN-"
Nep' raised his brow confused. "Yes Neptune, We have moons." Uranus sighed, closing his book. "Welll what happened to themm? I lost mines." The slightly smaller ice giant admit, playing with his fingers. "Well, I made a joke about crushing them so I could get bigger rings and they took it too bloody seriously!" Ura scoffed.
Neptune blinked at his cousin before giggling softly. "Welll maybe since you're bigger than themm.. They got scared?"
"Scared?" Uranus raised his brow, thinking about it intently. The two were in his orbit, 'sitting' cross-crossed; Neptune spun in place, babbling like a child. "Maybe I should apologize to them.." The larger ice giant muttered softly. "Apologize to who?" N quipped curiously. "...My moons.' Ura reminded.
"Pfftt..." Neptune giggled, "What's so funny, mate?!" Uranus crossed his arms, Neptune was really starting to piss him off. "You feel bad for your moooonnsss.." He flipped onto his side, allowing gravity to mess with his hair. Uranus stared at his cousin blankly. " is that a bad thing 🧍🏾♀️" "Nope!"
" ok.." U scooted away from Nep', slightly disturbed. The smaller giant started blowing raspberries, creeping the shit out of Uranus. 'What the fucckkk..., He thought, horrified.
A/N: blud ain't see nothing YET
"Hehee.. Wee should look for our mooonnsssss...." Poseiden suggest, sitting up. "Good idea, mate." The larger planet agreed 'standing' up. He helped his friend to do the same, "OK, apologizing to my moons." "Grab the ukulele." "Fuck up."
"PLUTOOO!" A soft voice hollered out; it was Charon, Pluto's satellite. She had been worried sick since his disappearance 'last night'. Char' sighed sadly, rubbing her elbows nervously, "PLU-" She coughed. Her throat was sore and worn out.
'Where could he be?' Charon quizzed herself, running her thick fingers throughout her hair. "Have you found him yet?" She turned around—
Neptune quipped, 'orbiting' Ura' who had a pen and paper in hand, writing an apology script for his satellites. "Neptune, you're right here. Does it look like I've found ANY of my moons yet?" He rolled his eyes as Neptune shrugged.
"Wanna split up?" They elucidated, a warm smile present. Caelus blinked before humming a yes, leaving Poseidon afloat in their orbit. "Bye byee!!" He stuck his tongue out at Uranium.
A/N: I am running out of nicknames.
Neptune happily 'skipped' throughout his orbit, daydreaming. He soon forgot the reason on why he was even there, and what exactly was he looking for?
"Uhhhhh Cousinnn, what are we doiingggg?" He asked, scratching his chin.
"Were looking for our moons." Uranus shouted, though it was very faint.
"Ohhkkk!" N chirped, averting his gaze around its orbit. It felt something touch their foot, alerting Neptune to look down at the object.
"Hey Uranus come look at thiss!" He pointed down. "What" Ura came over, This better be impor-" They stopped mid-sentence, staring in horror at the sight before them.
It was a bloodied carcass, the persons head so damaged u couldn't even tell who it was. The scene was Grotesque, the celestial brain was mushed out, one of their eyes missing while the other came out it's socket. There was blood everywhere. It oozed out from their ears, bubbling wherever. Diseases were starting to take over its skinless form, Discoloration on the tissues of the creatures brain matter. The stench was eye watering, as tiny space maggots fed on its Cadaver; Fat, oversized ones biting into their flesh. Parts of the skull had also been smashed. Their hair mixing with the crimson bodily liquid, sprawled around everywhere.
There was no source of seeing wether the victim had cried tears or not, even their nose was gone. It's body moved warily as the space bugs infected its insides. It was fascinating how these critters worked together, but also gut wrenching.
Uranus gagged, turning around almost immediately. The stench was terrible, he swore he could hear maggots chewing on the corpse. He doesn't even know who this person is, but they couldn't overcome the sorrow that seeped through their eyes. U gasped out a sob, clenching his stomach tightly and retreating to fetal position. They don't even know how Neptune is still able to look at..That thing without any emotion whatsoever.
"It looks kinda funky." He heard N say innocently, clearly not understanding the situation. Uranus slowly whipped his head to look up at Neptune, "N- Nep— No.. I- We-" He couldn't make out a straight sentence with the terror he felt. They took a shaky arm, grabbing onto Neptune's jacket sleeve, pulling himself up. "We n-need..W-We..get out of he-th- We le-leave..Now." He stated, adjusting his hands so it hooked onto the smaller giants arm.
And with that, Uranus sped off with his cousin, leaving Pluto's rotting body.
Uranus doesn't know how much time passed.
Earth days? His weeks? He doesn't know.
A/N: two earth days Ura is JS a wuss
He hadn't even gotten much sleep— Not that he exactly needed it but..It still felt nice to rest. Neptune has been staying in his orbit secretly for the time being— Or as long as the deceased was in its orbit. Uranus wanted to tell someone on what he and Nep' saw. He just doesn't know who.
Telling his neighbor planet, Saturn would result in him throwing a tantrum, alerting everyone of the news. Which he didn't want. Jupiter was probably the safest option; the only option. The inner planets hardly know what happen in the outer system so there was no point in trying. Ura took a deep breath he didn't know he was holding. He felt guilty, unsafe, mournful..Anything.
They looked over at Neptune who was playing tea parties with Guillermo. Uranus avert his direction to Jupiter's orbit and started ambling over there quickly, hopefully so the Sun wouldn't notice.
"Uhm..Jupiter?" Ura whispered, catching the attention of the large planet(And his rather nosy moons.) Jupiter, who was reading a book, hummed in response. "Can...Can we..Talk?" He glanced to somewhere else, alerting J it was a private conversation. The gas giant nodded, looking down at his satellites, "Call..Err..You're in charge." He smiled softly, setting his book to drift in space. He can read it another time.
The moon he was referring to was Callisto; She rolled her eyes, continuing her conversation with Europa, a smaller Galilean moon.
In the meantime, Jupiter and Uranus left to a separate area where the sole star of the system couldn't see them. "What'd you wanna talk about?" Jupi' asked, crossing his arms. Ura fixed his gaze onto the 'Floor', whispering something. Jupiter raised his brow, letting out a "Hm?"
The ice giant repeat himself, his voice sounding withered. "I saw something." "Well.." The larger planet trailed off, "What did you see?" He quizzed; "I- I can't even explain it, mate..It was just so..Gruesome I.." Uranus deemed up at Jupiter, watching his expression morph into a look of worry. "Gruesome..? How..What do you mean.." They asked, glimpsing the sidelines. He could see his moons watching in curiosity, or just pure inquisitiveness.
"The lad's head was..GONE. Th-There wasn't anything you could use to identify wh-who t-that was or- or what they looked l-like." Uranus described, the image of the celestials lifeless form flashing in his mind, he became more disgusted continuing with the explanation; "It's b-Brain was mashed out..Everything was so vile in its own way I just—" He sighed, tears filling his eyes once more. "I'm scared, Jupiter." Uranus professed.
It was silent for a while till Jupiter embraced Uranus with a hug, soothing his back. He seemed to be at a lost for words, goosebumps filled his skin. "I don't know what's out there..Or w-what happened cause..It was in Neptune's orbit a-and it can't be him c-cause he didn't even n-notice it was a de-" "Don't..Don't say it. Just relax." Zeus continued rubbing Caelus' stern.
The icey planet hugged him back, allowing the tears to seep from his eyelets. U knew Jupiter's nosy ass moons were watching, but they were so close to having a panic attack, what's he supposed to do? Walk it off.
A/N: what pluto couldn't do
Uranus felt remorse to the victim, even if he didn't know them.
At least he thought he didn't.
Soon enough, Jupiter released Uranus from the hug, holding their shoulders. "Where is Neptune?" He queried, sedated. Ura wiped his tear stuck eyes, sniffling. "He's in my orbit..Why?" They raised their eyebrow, confused.
"Keep an eye on him, don't let him out of your orbit. No matter what." Zeus slightly shook Uranus with every word he said, "We don't know what could happen, and I know you don't wanna lose him." He pointed out. "So, Go back to your orbit and WATCH it. Got it?" Jupiter ordered sternly. Uranus nodded, understanding. "Ok.." He mumbled, "Alright, Now do that.." Jupiter nudged Ura in the direction of his orbit, departing to his own.
"Oh my gosh."

———
Mercury paced around the Kuiper belt worriedly. He'd been there for..2 Earth days, he doesn't even know if someone had found Pluto's body or not. He was a fraud. A monster.
The planets breath hitched, his lips quivering. Mercury was scared. So scared. He doesn't want anyone finding out of his massacre. What would happen? What will happe-
‘Relax lil' cuh.’
Mercury stared at some asteroids; his eye twitched with annoyance. "Relax? RELAX?" He growled balling his hands into fists and clenching his teeth together furiously. "BECAUSE OF YOU, I KILLED MY PAST BEST FRIEND— HE DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING!" Hermes retort, 'walking' around more aggressively.
‘Technically, it's your fault. You were planning on harming Venus, I encouraged you. You said it would be too difficult so you wanted practice. I suggested Pluto and YOU agreed. Not my fault lil' bro.’
Mercury came to a halt, pondering on it. The voice was right. It is his fault. He's a terrible planet, with murderous intents all because of one stupid argument. "I'm a monster..." He came clean of his sins, dropping to his knees. "I killed my best friend...For no..reason..." Mer' sniffled, guilt eating his inside whole. He could feel something/or someone holding him.
‘Hey don't worry..I don't blame you anyway.’
The voice soothed him. Mercury grumbled, leaning on a nearby asteroid; He oddly felt comfort with The Voices' presence. Whoever they were.
‘I'll never bash you or compare you to a smaller object— Unlike Dione.’
...
"What."
‘Oh? You haven't heard? She's been using you as an example over in Saturns orbit, Shit-talking you, Comparing the tinier moons to you.’
Hearing this new found information made Mercury's core boil, He grit his teeth, furrowing his eyebrows. How dare they.
‘But you shouldn't be too worried about it. After all, you don't want to hurt anyone else, do you?’
Hermes' expression softened. They sadly looked over at the planets. How jolly they seemed without him interfering.
‘If you don't do anything about it though, it'll get worse. Soon, the planets will find out and adapt to calling you one of them.’
"A moon..." Mer' whispered, a displeased emotion taking over his feelings. It mixed with rage the more The Voice continued.
‘You're not a moon. A inferior little object that orbits a planet. They have no common sense of the world without their planets guidance.
You are a planet Mercury.
Show them that.’
Hermes sat up, clinging onto an asteroid.
‘Before you go, look behind you lil' boy.’
Dione and her girlfriend, Rhea slept soundly, hand in hand. It was peaceful for the two; They were a little further away from the others. Suddenly, Dione could feel Rhea slowly slipping out of her grip which made her wake up. She saw that someone had grabbed her, and was just...idk kidnapping..moonnapping her🧍🏾♀️. "Wh-" They were cut off with the person covering her mouth. Dione started to squirm in their grip, nudging the person in their stomach resulting in them to let her free. "BITCH!" They cried, holding their abdomen. Dione gasped upon seeing Mercury, feeling confused. "Mercury? Wha-" Hermes came at her, stabbing her arm causing Dione to shriek.
He slaps her face, "SHUT UP!" He continues to slit her arm, crimson blood spewed from the scar. Dione screamed in Agony, kicking Mer' in his chest to which he responded with slaying her thigh. She cried out, grasping her wounded arm, another hand reaching for her thigh. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she resumed struggling in Mercury's hold. The planet annihilated Dione's upper leg repeatedly, creating a huge gash to the point some of her muscles were falling out. The moon wept, thoughts rushing through her mind. What'd she possibly do to deserve this torture? The ache was unbearable.
Mer' aimed to slash her arm again, but Dione's hand was in the way. And so, it got struck instead. The moons wails got louder, her vision blurry. Unexpectedly, Mercury started to strangle her. Dione tried gasping for air, kicking and hitting The Planet though it had no affect on him. "YOU WERE TALKING SHIT ABOUT ME, WEREN'T YOU!?" He blurted maniacally.
Dione clawed at Mercury's wrists, choking on her own words. Hermes watched as the color drained from her eyes, discoloration tinting her dry lips; He could feel her pulse weaken, her movements becoming shallow. Dione missed her girlfriend. She missed the other moons. She wished she was in her orbit with Saturn.
Saturn.
She wanted her planet.
She missed his warm embrace, his smile, how he wanted to keep them safe. She regret all the times she hadn't appreciated him.
Dione closed her eyes, allowing the life to slip from her body, taking her final struggle of breathing.
Mercury stared at her, putting his ear to the moons chest to confirm she was dead.
‘Womp womp.’
"Shut up."
"Uhm..Titan?" Rhea called out softly. Titan paused his conversation with Iapetus to see what his sister wanted. "Hm?" He tilted his head slightly. Rhea gulped, "Have you seen Dione? She was in my orbit last and now..." The smaller moon explained, worry pacing her voice. Titan thought for a moment before shrugging; "Nope, Have you checked her orbit?" He queried, Rhea responded with shaking her head.
Meanwhile, Saturn was recounting his moons, confused on why there was a missing moon. "143, 144, 145..No..that's not right.." He pondered aloud. His satellites glared at Saturn, judging him before going back to their own things. "Well..." Titan trailed off; Rhea grew more anxious. The larger moon frowned at her saddened look.
"Hey, don't worry; I'm sure she's fine..Unless—" "DID I DO IT AGAIN?!" Saturn exclaimed, clasping his hands over his cheeks; He had a depressive look present on his face.
Rhea looked puzzled, "Do what again? I don't understand,," She whined glancing at her sibling. "Oh..Uhh-" Titan chuckled nervously. "Soo..There was this theory that Saturn's rings were from..Dead Moons-" "WHAT?!" "HEY- Hey, that doesn't mean THAT happened to her!" Titan enunciated Rhea, wrapping his arm over her shoulder, comfortingly. Rhea side-eyed her brother, her fretting expression returning. "How about we check her orbit together? Would that be better?" T suggests as Rhea nodded agreeing.
"Dione?" "DIIOOOONEEE???"
The two largest moons of Saturn hollered, "Agh, what's that smell-" Titan commented, scrunching up his nose. Rhea fanned her face, disgusted of the nasty stench. The two held hands, strolling around Dione's orbit. "I think I see her in the distance!" Titan beamed, his accent colored the atmosphere (if that makes sense.) Rhea grinned, letting go of his fingers and hurriedly making her way to her supposed partner.
What she didn't expect to see was Dione's bluish-purple form, a huge gash in her forearm, flies swarming the area with eggs all around inside her skin. A burgundy gooey liquid dribbled into gravity, stretching around, forming all shapes and sizes. Dione's muscle was peeking out, a few ants were devouring it. Small beetles around her thigh, the bone pierced and cracked. Her eyes were still open, nearly popping out as dry tear streaks stained her discolored jaw. Her lips chapped and cold, her pupils dilated. Rhea could still see her crying a maroon ooze, it trailed down her cheekbone and lips. A true sight to see.
And then, Rhea let out a gut curling scream in sorrow, dropping to her knees, They held Dione’s carcass close, salty tears of her own collapsing onto D’s skin. Titan rushed over, nearly gagging. “Oh my gosh…” His lens widen as he stepped back, horrified at the sight. The large moons throat tightened, his stomach twisting at Dione’s grotesque cadaver. “R-Rhea..” He muttered.
Rhea was blubbering, a firm grip on her deceased lovers body, “Rhea we have to tell Saturn..” He bent down to her height, attempting to remove her from the scene. “NO! DON’T- DON’T TAKE HER FROM ME!” Rhea wailed reaching for Dione’s lifeless form.
Titan felt remorseful as he dragged his heartbroken sibling from her love. “NO- PLEASE T-TITAN DON’T DO THIS TO ME!” R bawled. The smaller moon cringed to his leg, letting out a gut curling howl. Her tears mixed with snot, a gurgling noise being made.
It had came to the point Titan had to carry Rhea away. She was weighty, making it very difficult for the large moon to cradle her.
Once Titan was close enough to the others, he called out for Saturn’s attention. “SATURN?” The gas giant avert his eyes to his moon; His expression changed to a more worried one once he saw Titan and Rhea’s faces. “Oh my poor little babies…” He cooed, “What happened?” They went eye level with the two.
“D-Dione- She’s..SHE’S DEAD!”
The rest of the ‘day’ was very gloomy. Saturn’s fourth largest satellite had been murdered. From who? No one knows. Uranus and Jupiter suspect it’s the same person who killed the unknown celestial in Neptunes orbit.
Rhea was the most affected. Having lost her girlfriend cause some bastard felt like killing her for no reason whatsoever. She was in her orbit, sitting silently. She missed her. Why’d this have to happen. She hates whoever hurt her. Whoever took Dione’s life away from her. Her eyes were red and puffy due to all the tears she cried. She had no more to cry.
Her voice went horse from her repeated yelling in mourning. R felt tired, it was a very eventful ‘evening’ anyways. And so, she slowly closed her eyes, wanting to relax from all this sorrow.
She didn’t know that’d be the last time she’d ever see the world again.

"See Jupiter I told you about this." Uranus retorted while sipping s cup of tea, His cousin next to him drinking apple juice. "Well I didn't know that attacker was going for moons!" Jupiter admit, slurping down his own hot matter. Currently the gas giants were having a 'tea party'(Neptunes Idea) to discuss the events that occurred recently.
Saturn came over with a cup of hot cocoa, taking a seat next to Jupiter. He looked stressed, more stressed than he was when Titan went missing. Can you blame him? Two of his moons are gone. One from murder, the next due to broken heart syndrome.
Uranus cleared his throat, "Anyways, me and Nep' were looking for our moons till we saw..That thing-" "What thing?" Saturn interrupted, Staring at Ura with half lidded eyes. Uranus paused, glimpsing Jupiter for help.
"Well, Uranus and Neptune saw..A person.." Jupi' trailed off, taking another sip of his BROWN MATTER. Saturn realized what he meant, feeling disturbed. "ANYWAY, We we're discussing about their moons." Jupiter smiled sheepishly. Saturn nodded, "Right..Ura-nus scared his moons away and Neptune..?" The Jovian looked over at the icey giant who was..eating the Juice box.
Uranus glanced at him for a second, then quickly staring back once he realized what he was doing. "Don't eat that mate!" He slapped the box outta N's mouth to which he responded with biting Ura. "Ow- Bitc-" "Calm down you two, this is serious." Jupiter cut him off, tossing his empty mug into space. He can find it later.
"Neptune, where are your satelites?" They quiered, changing his sitting position to criss cross. Neptune blinked at Jupi, before shrugging; "I lost my moons!" He exclaimed happily.
The other planets put their attention on him, concerned. "Mate that not a good thing." U sighed, finishing his tea. "Oh." His cousin responded, still smiling.
Jupi and Satuu turned their heads to gaze at one another before looking back at Ura and Neptune. "You two go look for your moons, Me and Saturn will..Try discussing the matter." The FAT planet stated, clasping his hands together.
"Alright," Uranus stood up "Cmon Neptune, we're leaving." They crossed their arms. "Leaavingg..Wheereeee?" Nep' babbled, twirling. "To look for our moons, Y'know.." U ummm idk I'm running outta verbs.
And in a blink of an eye, Neptune was up. "Pfft..Let's gooo!" He giggled. The two ice giants soon left; (dw guys ura got rid of his teacup) The gas giants looked at each other, Saturn still in his depressive era.
A/N: losers all of them r losers
"So.." Jupiter started, "How is everything holding up?" He put a hand on Saturn's thigh (PLEASW DONT TAKE IT OUT OF CONTEXT☹️) "I..I don't really wanna talk about it." Satuu murmured, sighing.
"I understand.." Jupi nodded slightly; "If there's anything that's troubling you, you can always talk to me about it, Dear." He flashed a warm comforting smile to which Saturn returned it. "Thanks."
"If I were my moooonnss...Where would I beeee?" Neptune wondered, putting his finger on its chin. Uranus shrugged, "I dunno mate, Deeper into the kuiper belt?" They suggest. Neptune nodded, "Okie Dokie then!" It flashed a toothy smile.
Uranus stared at Neptune. His child-like nature. He didn't deserve to experience this situation, nobody does. Ura will admit, he still has a fear of what the two saw three days ago. He remembers the mutilated body the person. It haunts them. He has nightmares on the damn thing.
Their rotting flesh, the maggots that crawled about. Just thinking of it made Uranus' skin twist. He doesn't know who, or what this assassin is, and whatever their intentions might be; but hopefully, They have no intent for him or his cousin. Neptune.
He doesn't wanna lose him.
Neptune's too innocent for that. Sure, Uranus didn't accept Neptune to be his cousin at first, but as time went on, be soon got attached to the lad. That's something he doesn't want. He hates affection. He hates everything about Neptune. But for some odd reason, he feels the need to care for them. Why do you suppose that is?
"Urraaannuuusssssss.." Uranus snapped from his thoughts just to see Neptune all up in his face, a curious expression on his own. "Uhm..Yes?" Ura gulped nervously. "You were spacing out for a whileee.." N tilted his head, still being extremely close to Uranus. "Oh..Uh sorry." The larger ice giant muttered, backing up from Neptune.
"It's okaaayyy!" N chirped, floating away from Uranus. "Hey don't go too far!" U warned rushing after his cousin. "Weee!!" Neptune cooed, flailing about. Worriedly, Uranus latched onto its arm. He got pulled along with Neptune as their gravitational pulls clashed. "Neptune wait-" "I think I found them!" Neptune did a :3 face, pointing at some asteroid looking objects.
As Ura and Nep' pulled up to the satellites, Uranus was in shock "They're so..small.." He muttered, leaning down eye level with the moons. "I finally found you!" Poseidon cheered, doing a rather menacing smile. "Hi Neptuuunee!" Proteus, Nep's second 'largest' moon waved. He sat next to Triton, the largest satellite.
"Neptune you're back! :D" (IDFK KNOW HER NAME??) Greeted. "Yes I am! I think- Uhmmm I'm not quite sure-" N' shrugged. "Neptune, you've been gone for a long time..Things have changed." Triton spoke in his gruff voice, looking away from his planet. "Weelll things are always chaaaanggginggggg!" Nep' formed into a..idk..before morphing back somehow. "No..That's not what I meant." Triton hissed. "Oh." N blinked, "Wellll..Wanna come orbit me again? We had soo much fuuunn together!" He spun around Uranus who awkwardly stood there.
"Yeah!" "I wanna orbit Neptune!!" "Yayy!" The moons babbled; Triton turned his head the other way, unsure. "Great!" Neptune smiled as the moons crowded him. Triton slowly made his way to the ice giant, a scowl present on his face. Uranus, who noticed this decided to question the 'satelite' on it. "Is everything alright, mate?"
Triton raised his brow. He didn't even notice Ura was there. "Uhh..Yeah..." They replied, gulping.Uranhs squinted his eyes at Triton before humming in reply. "Alright, time to find my moons..Yay.."
"Planets are on the move..." A satelite thought aloud. She soon gasped realizing what that fact meant. "PLANETS ARE ON THE MOVE!" She exclaimed, a horrified expression on her face.
Ariel sped off, scared on the outcome of her planet finding her. She dodged asteroids, adrenaline coursing throughout her bones. She had the intent to warn the others on their upcoming demise-- That is if she wasn't quick enough.
Pushing down the thought, Ariel soon bummed into something- no, someone. "Ah- get away!" She shouted, sheilding their face from the person's view. "No relax, I'm not gonna hurt you-" Ariel removed her hands from their eyes, gazing up at the planetoif before them.
"Giant..Woman.." "I'm a guy." Mercury stated, smiling sweetly. "Oh, sorry-" Ariel let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. "It's hard to tell with your.." They searched for tge most appropriate words to say. "Build? Yeah, I know." Mercury deadpanned, his smile disappearing which honestly creeped the fuck out of Ariel. "Oh..Kay..Well, I'm busy so.." "You're not staying?" Mer' tilted his head, grabbing ahold of Ariel's arm; "No, I um..I have to get to the other moons-" She coughed, trying to drag her arm away. Ariel glanced at some nearby asteroids as Mercury spoke once again, "But why?" He'd hold her arm tighter, a menacing look on his face. "You- You're hurting m-"
Crack!
"Ow- OW! M-MY ARMM!" Ariel retracted her hand, she started to cry hysterically as she bent over in pain. Mercury laughed at her agony; He grabbed the nearest asteroid and smack her face to which she screamed. "I appreciate being called a giant, it really helps my self esteem." Hermes started to shove said asteroid down her mouth. The two 'fell to the floor' As Mer' continued slamming the boulder down her esophagus.
Ariel gurgled, hot eye sweat runnjng down her cheeks. Mercury cackled maniacally, forcefully stuffing her throat. She kicked Mer' repeatedly; feeling vomit run up her um another way for throat. Ariel choked up blood, her teeth breaking on impact. She tried to scream in anguish though all that was heard was muffled. Ariel's nose started to bleed, more gooey sanguine juice squirt out the sides of her mouth. Her eyes rolled back, her jaw bone cracking. Ariel's mouth tore, a maroon splash dribbling out her eyelets, jaw and of course, she was still experiencing acid reflux. Ari' couldn't think, she was trapped in her head. It felt like a cluster headache with all the torture she experienced. Poor little Ariel forgot her friends. Her planet. Why she was afraid of him. Who even is she? All this suffering has caused her mind to go absolutely blank. Mercury however, seemed determined to slaughter her her over one simple mistake. Reminding Mercury of his feminine features? How disre-fuckin-spectful. No wonder Venus hated it so much.
Venus.
Just the mere thought of him made Hermes' blood boil. Oh how he despised him. Mercury snarled, Removing the asteroid from Ariel's hung open mouth. She was still alive. Feeling everything happening and she couldn't do anything about it. Her body spasmed, making Mercury stare in disgust. He started to beat Ari' with the object, pericing her body. The screaming and already died down, she was just letting out hoarse moans of discomfort. Her body twitched. Mercy continued to wreck her form, bruises and cuts bearing. Anew, Ariel felt all that was happening to her, her brain just couldn't figure out how to make it stop.
How?
Let's take a look at the human brain.
When you are dying, the saying "Life flashed before eyes" is in fact true. That is the brain searching for a memory that can halt you from passing. So, what is happening to Ariel? The same damn thing.
Blood splattered onto Mercury's face as he pounded the rock onto Ariel's chest, hitting her heart. Hopefully she died.
Hopefully.
Mercury panted, leaning up from his work of art. They smiled. Then giggled. Then he cackled.
What's so funny lil' bro
"EVERYTHING!" He held his head, psychotically.
A/N: Mercury has officially lost it yall
He stared into Ariel's non existing pupils, "She's pretty." He comments, inching closer to her face. And then, Mercury took off her earrings, placing them on his own. "Now she's ugly." He sneered, standing up. Mercy wiped the sticky liquid off his face, leaving into the depths of the Kuiper Belt.

"24..25..26..Ok, we're missing one moon.." Titania stated, facing the rest of Uranus' moons. "Does anyone know where Ariel is?" She questioned, the moons shook their head. Titania squinted her eyes, scanning the area of the kuiper belt the moons resided.
She mumbled something under her breath, turning away from the group.
A/N: I actually hate her She looks like a block of shit
The moon stared into the kuiper belt. There was a figure..It got larger and larger-- Wait.
Titania's breath hitched as Uranus came forward. She could hear the trembling of fear from the other satelites.
The two had a stare off. Sweat both dripping off their foreheads. Then, Neptune appeared beside Uranus with his own moons. "Go on :3" He encouraged, nudging Ura to go forward to his satelites. "Don't be shy!"
"Wh- Just a minute mate!" Uranus took a deep breath, taking his script from..(Yk how they take shit from their asshole? Yeah that.)
"Ahem..Hello dear moons..It's me, Uranus. And no, its not pronounced 'YOUR anus' it's Uranus." (UR-UH-NUS.) Ura started, "And- yknow what." Uranus tears apart the speech, tossing it into space.
"My satelites I..I'm sorry. I swear I didn't mean it when I said quote on quote "Maybe I can force my moons to crash against me"" Ura leaned down eye-level to a trembling Titania "I know that..Since you guys are so small compared to me, Jokes like that can be..Pretty scary." He chuckled. "I'm scared myself; I'm scared one day the Sun really will explode. I'm scared of Jupiter even." He admit, "So, I can understand your fright when I said that dumb joke..I don't even know why I said it- I'm stupid I-" Titania glanced over at the other moons who were huddled up together behind an asteroid. She gulped, staring back at the ice giant
"You guys may not forgive me, and I know th-this but-" Uranus' voice cracked. "There's something going on. Just 3 Earth days ago me and Neptune saw.." Pluto's rotting carcass flashed in his mind. "I don't wanna talk about it. But un simpler terms, there's a 'predator' goin around and well..Hurting people. We don' know what it is but for your saftey, it's best you guys come with me."
Titania raised her brow. What's this guy yapping about. "Please Titania..I can't afford for anything to happen to any of you." Uranus pleaded, a depressive expression taking over his face. Titania seemed to be thinking. She hesitantly nodded, signaling for the other moons to come forward.
Uranus sighs in relief, standing upright. "Thank you..I missed you guys.." U smiled slightly. His satelites kept their distance just in case, which he totally understood. "This isn't the best time but.." Titania started, rubbing her elbows.
Caelus almost went teary eyed. He missed hearing Titania's voice. In all honesty he missed all his moons. "What happened?" He tilted his head. "Ariels kinda..Missing-" "WHAT?!"
Tita' flinched, bumping into the satelite behind her, Oberon. "Sorry- Uhm.." She apologized, to which Oberon nodded, his eye twitching. "Wh- What do ya mean Ariel's 'missing'?!" Uranus fret, a look of worry on his facial. "W-We don't know! She went out to patrol for uhm..You and she didn't come back!" Miranda cut in, sweating. She hadn't interacted with the giant in so long. Honestly this was scary.
Ura' could feel his stomach churn. He was too late, wasn't he? "Heyyy..It's ok Uraaanusss!" Neptune pat his back. Though the cooky planet had no understanding of what exactly was happening, he didn't like seeing his cousin sad. "No Neptune..You don't get it.." Caelus sniffled, wiping his eyes.
"That's truee but, you did get one thing done!" Poseidon smiled, motioning to the moons that surrounded the two. Caelus groaned, crossing his arms. "Yeah.." They sighed looking down at his satelites. They were confused with a mixture of worry. He would've said the same for Neptune's moons but they literally didn't understand a thing-- Other than Triton.
"We're going back to my orbit. It obviously aint safe here." U announced, turning away. "Stay in front of me where I can see yall." They demanded, the moons complying uneasy.
There, the two sat. Hands interlocked with one another. The aroma of coffee and perfume mixed in the air, sending a nice feeling throughout the couples bodies. Cold breeze flowed onto their faces; it felt nice. Nothing could ruin this— That is until their moons started to bicker
Saturn sighed, "I'll stop them." He broke connection with Jupiter's hand; "You stay here and keep looking pretty, do that for me would you?" They smiled, pecking the others cheek affectionately to which Jupiter happily returned it.
Saturn stood up, ambling towards where the satelites resided, embracing the upcoming sunlight. Squinting their eyes, he looked down at the arguing moons. "What're you fighting for now..?" They quipped, scooping up the two largest moons with his hands. "Just debating whose bigger.." Ganymede rolled his eyes as Titan scoffed. "No we weren't! You were shit-talking my dead sister!" He accused clearly pissed. Gany went blank, chuckling nervously. "Well, uhh... Uhm well- Yeah I have nothing to say." He deadpanned, shaking his head.
"That's why you have low self-esteem." They retort; Ganymede gasped about to absolutely blow UP on Titan. "Hey you two, no fighting!.." Satuu begged "Gan..um.." "Ganymede." "Gaymanmede!..That's very disrespectful..Please don't mention Ray in a harmful matter ok, boo-boo?" He held the two up to his face. "And Titan, my sweet baby..Please DONT talk about peoples insecurities. It's rude."
Ganymede stuck his tongue out at Titan who..flipped him the bird. "Titan dear, don't use that finger either." Saturn groaned tiredly. They set the satellites down, rubbing his back. "Owgh..My baaack."
"It's cause of Ganymede, he's fat." "STOP IT!!"
As Cronus made his way back over to Zeus, he could see Caelus and Poseidon approach with their satellites close by. "Jupi' they're back." He alerted. Jupiter looked up at the two upcoming ice giants. Neptune was his usual happy-go-lucky nature while Uranus seemed more..Off. The Jovian raised his brow, perplexed. 'Was the corpse bride or groom still troubling him?' Zeus shook his head; He wasn't one to judge. He didn't even see the damned thing. "Hello my babies..I see you found your satellites!" Saturn cooed, gazing down at the tiny celestials. He put his hands together, a honey sweet smile on his facials.
The moons cringed— Well, the moons except for Neptunes. Triton not included, he's nothing like y'all. "Hi moons of Ura-nus and Neptune! It's so nice to see you all again.." Satuu greeted to which they nodded uneasily.
"Ura' what's wrong?" Jupiter queried the smaller planet. Uranus groaned, "One of my moons are lost.." They confessed holding his shoulders. Jupiter could feel goosebumps run up his arm. "I- I'm sure you'll find them soon." He comfort, flashing a hearty grin at Uranium. The ice giant squinted his eyes at J before agreeing. "Mk.." They cleared their throat.
"So..Now what?" Neptune broke the silence, floating in between Jupiter and Uranus. Saturn giggled, placing his hands behind his stern. "Would you lovelies appreciate another tea party?" He asks kindly. The Jovians nod hysterically, especially Neptune. He was just happy to have more juice.
Saturn did a silent cheer as he clapped. "I'll be right back babes!" He sped off to make HOT MATTER.
“Ohk..” Caelus gulped, looking off into the distance. The inner planets seemed peaceful..
Why couldn’t he have that?
“Stupid..” He muttered under his breath, taking a seat next to his Moons and Neptune.
Mercury is also missing, don’t be so selfish Uranus.
The ice giant avert his gaze to the satellites who were watching him closely. They still seemed on edge of his presence being so..near them but it’s not like they had a choice. “I really missed you guys, I hope you know that.” Ura squeaked, sticking his finger for Oberon to hold onto. The satellite stared at it puzzled before realizing. He glanced back up at Uranus, like a way of saying “No.”
Caelus bit his tongue, embarrassed. “Ok..Well, Is there anything y’all wanna let me know?” He uttered. “No.” This time Titania answer, glaring at Uranus. “ok.” The planet backed up from the moons, letting his eyes rest. “I’m sorry, again.” “Don’t care.” Tita’ growled, squinting her eyelets at U. The planet sighed tiredly, reverting back to his 90* tilt which he was forcefully ignoring this entire time. (Like how he and Saturn sometimes appear upright in SB)
“I care for y’all, Y’know that right?”
“Fermer putain.”
Uranium went silent, tears crowding his vision. He deserved it after all. They basically physically damaged their moons with just a mere ‘joke’. Maybe “I’m back!” This took Uranus out of his thoughts as Saturn strut back over with..Three cups of BROWN MATTER AND a blueberry juice. How? Don’t ask me Dawg.
“Sorry Neppy’ There was no more apply juice..” Satuu handed Uranus and Jupiter their drinks before allowing Nep’ to take his. “It’s alrightt!” He stuck his tongue out, a cooky smile present. The Jovian giggled at his silliness, starting to sip his steamy beverage.
So far everything was fine.
For now.

-------
2 days afterwards.
"Hey..Earth?" The red planet called out, dropping his cards. "Hm?" The other raised his brow, lowering his own cards. "I'm a lil' worried..Like yknow on Mercury." Mars admit, motioning to the smaller planets orbit. "Like..The Sun looks terrible man..." He'd sigh.
Martian wasn't all wrong. The Sun was depressed himself. He longed for Mercury. They yearned for they 'day' he'd be in his warm embrace. When the two would gossip, be there for one another. Kiss.
And then there was the fact someone was aiming for his Solar System. What will he do when they start targeting the planets? What will he do if Mercury doesn't come back.
"I'm sorry but- Whats that gotta do with me?" Earth took Mars from his thoughts. "Are you serious?" He groaned at Earth's selfishness. Earth looked around, shrugging. "Dude, how would you feel if your best friend slash potential love interest-" Earth went wide eyed at 'potential love interest'. A random quack sound being made when he did so.
"-Just left you?" The reddish-orange planet crossed his arms. "I mean..First, YOU'RE my potential love interest." Earth enunciated, putting a hand on his hip. "Second, You wouldn't do that, I have nothing to worry about." They waved Mars off, batting their lashes.
Mars just stared at Earth blankly, rolling his eyes while exhaling. "Fine, sure. Whatever man." They threw the cards in gravity. Watching as they slowly floated away. Earth smirked, rocking his hip to the side.
A/N: I LOVE EARTH I LOVE HOW ZESTY HE IS I LOVE EARTH!!
"Yeah, that's what I thought.." The planet surmised. "Ahm..LUUNAAA!" He called out, his wrist still on his lower abdomen. The moon he was referring to came over, a exhausted expression present. "Yes..?" They yawned.
"Do you mind watching Phobos and Deimos for mommy while me and Mars go play asteroid dodgeball with Venus?" Earth held Luna's shoulders, using his head to gesture to the smaller satelites. Moon couldn't even answer before his planet continued; "Thank you boo-boo bye!" And with that, Earth left with Mars over to a deeper part in the goldilocks zone.
"Well what the fuck." Luna groaned annoyed. He made his way over to Mars' orbit, in search for his 'siblings'. Does he even call them that? Don't care.
-----
"Heyy guyss!" Neptune smiled at his satelites. They returned the gesticulate, waving at the larger celestial. Neptune stared closely at them, "Wheres Triton?" He quizzed. "Oohh He went on an adventure!" Naiad explained, playing pattycake with another moon. "Ohk!" Nep' nodded. "What about Proteus?"
"I'm over hereee!" The said moon shouted from a couple boulders. "Whatcha doin'?" Neptune asked, his usual grin on. "I saw someethingg soo I wanted to check it ouut!" Proteus chimed, sticking his head out. The ice giant made an uneasy face, "Maybe you shouldn't really..Be so far away but you can have some fun! I guess-" "Neptune."
Poseidon turned at the sound of his name being called. "I'll be back kiddos' Uraaanuss is calling meeee..!" And with that, the planet slithered over to his cousin. His satellites waved goodbye, resuming to their own activities. Meanwhile, proteus was peeping into the Kuiper belt, intrigued on the silhouette that hid in the shadows.
"Psst." They whispered, motioning for Proteus to follow. The moon glanced back over at the group before sliding himself into the Kuiper Belt— What's the worse that could happen?
"Closer.." The person backed up, tricking Proteus to follow him deeper.
The bee however did not know that.
It flew over towards the Venus-Fly-Trap, happily buzzing away.
They pitched on the plants razor sharp jaws, unknowing of its demise that awaited. The bug was stuck in place for a while, taking in the sweet savory flavor of the Venus-Fly-Trap's surface.
And with that, the plant struck.
Proteus was knocked over, holding the right side of his head, blood already starting to seep from the newly formed cut. Tears started to form in his eyes, as he started to hysterically bawl like the child he is. "Owiee..!" They blubbered.
Mercury bashed his head anew with the asteroid, grimacing at the toddlers sobs. "Waahhhh..I want my brotherrr!" Proteus wept, getting into fetal position as the planet injured his head side. Snot and saliva mixed with his salty tears as they ran down his chin, dripping onto his clothing and hands. "I'm sorry!" They whine, rolling onto his side, attempting to make Mercury forgive him for whatever he did wrong. He doesn't like pain. Not at all.
The planet kicked him, so his face and abdomen was showing. Proteus had his eyes closed, both hands over the wounded area of his skull.
—
"Where's Proteus?" Triton took his glasses off, earning a few stares from Uranus' moons. "We don't KNOWW— He was over there," Galatea pointed at the Kuiper belt "And then he just disappeared!" She shrugged, munching on a lollipop.
Triton's grew concerned as he slapped back on his shades. "Shit." He muttered, fixing his pants. "Thalassa you're in charge." He ordered, speeding off into the depths of the Kuiper belt."
—
Proteus couldn't process the emotion he was feeling. Wether it be fear or sadness. Wait..
What even were those?
No matter, he was in anguish. Proteus let out a cry, warming liquid pouring out his eyes. One stained crimson, the other regular. He was curled up on his side, awaiting Mercury to finish him off. Hermes circled Proteus, wondering what else he could do to him.
He hummed a song as he did so; It sounded something like 'Bumble Bee' by Bambee. He glazed down at the weak satellite beneath him, a crazed smile forming. Mercury reached into his back pocket, taking out what seemed to be a rather sharp knife. They pushed over Proteus again, he landed on his back. His eyes were staring at two different places— That is since he could only see out of the left one. Which he hardly had any control over. Mer' eradicated Prot's neck, slitting it horizontally. The moons cries started up again, as he thrashed around in Mercury's grip. "Sweet little bumble bee.." He struck Proteus's neck, screams flooding his ears. "I know what you want from me.." The planet smirked at the red liquid that dribbled out from Prot's throat. Choking sounds mixed with sobs echoed through the atmosphere. Mercury hummed the less important lyrics as he sliced through the thick layer of skin of Proteus' neck. He forced his small knife through the esophagus— It had gone nowhere. No worry, Mercury still had more time to practice. "Sweet little bumble bee, more than just a fantasy." He sung, his voice irritatingly smooth with the lyrics that swayed out.
The bug struggled to escape from the Deadly Plant's jaws, sticking its legs out. It brushed up against the creatures saliva glands, frantically attempting to make its way throughout their teeth. The plant hadn't given up, it never did. It always won in the end. They all struggled with it, this was easy for it to do.
But the bee now, it's smarter than you think.
Proteus grabbed ahold of Mercury's hand, pushing it off his bleeding neck. He gurgled and grunt as the planet tried to annihilate his throat. "St..STOP RESISTING YOU-" Hermes growled, putting his other hand onto the weapon, using all his strength to murder this child.
Proteus, kicked Mercury in his....Area to which the planet seethed, falling over. He held his crotch, hissing violently as he foamed at the mouth.
The bee used its strength to pull apart its attackers jaws. Most bees die after they sting. Most. Not all bees.
Proteus crawled over to a lighter area. Seeing the sole star at a very exaggerated distance. The rays of light blurred his vision the more he wept.
"Bitch.."
‘MERCURY GET OUT OF HERE.’
The planet widened its eyes, puzzled on the voices random commands. "What? What are you-"
‘Y'know what? Stay. You can get caught if you want lil' man.’
Mercury gasped, collecting his knife and getting the FUCK out of there.
Triton rushed over to Proetus' aid, immediately cradling his upper body. "Proteus?! Kid what happe- Are you alright?!" He held his head close, minding the blister that was there. "IT HURTS TRITONN..IT HUURRTTS!" They bawled, clinging onto Triton's chest, stuffing their puffy red eyes in it. The former dwarf planet support his skull, thinking of a way to stop his gooey burgundy from aggressively squirting out.
He looked down at Proteus who coughed and snorted into his shirt, then at his jacket sleeve. "God damnit." He groaned, unsung his sticky red hand to tear part of his vests sleeve off, "Proteus you're getting me another jacket." They murmured,p to which Proteus slightly nodded, wincing from the agony. Triton wrapped the cloth around Proteus' head, cringing at his pained sobs. "Stoppp! It hurts do-don't touch it-" The satellite squeaked squeezing Tritons shirt as he reached for his wounded area. "No I have to do this Proteus. Don't you want it to stop hurting?" the larger moon state, ripping another side of his sleeve off. This time, he steadily placed it around Proteus' neck. Like a scarf.
"Alright," He stood up, carrying Proteus— Making sure to support his head. "Hold on tight lil' man." Triton bent his legs before he took off quickly, a trail of dust following after him.
—
"Heyy Tritons back!" "Why does Proteus look like that?" "Ooooohh Proteus must be in troooouubleeee!" The satellites gossiped amongst each other as Triton arrived back with a still bleeding Proteus. "One of you get Neptune and Uranus," He demanded, placing Proteus on some nearby asteroids. Naiad salut, skipping over to where their planet resided.
A crowd of Uranus' moons came over, concerned on the well-being of Triton and the little boy. Titania came forth, healing down to Proteus' almost motionless form. "Well," She started, "What're you waiting for? Preform cpr you dumbass!" "LOOK- My planet is half-stupid, so technically it's not my fault Neptune Didn't teach me any first-aid shit!" Triton out his hands on Proteus' chest, checking for his pulse.
It was weak, but that could do. Titania rolled her eyes, nudging Triton to move over, which he did. She held his maroon stained face, not caring of the uncomfortable ooze that painted her fingers. "Rip more of that jacket of yours." "Pardon?" "Rip it."
Tita' glared at him, watching as Triton groaned annoyed. He complied, actually removing the vest from himself, embracing the cold breeze. "Just take the whole thing." He mumbled, handing the raggedy Piece of clothing to Titania who nearly broke his hand. She wrapped up the jacket soon pressing it onto Proteus' head side, wincing as the child whimpered. "Ow, ow ow owow-" He held onto Titania's hand, squeezing it as salty 'baby cries this' seeped from his eyelets.
"I'm sorry baby it alright.." The older moon used her next hand to caress his face, removing the hair from his view. "That's gotta be some right hemisphere trauma..Possible blindness in his right eye, Y'know?" "No actually, I don't know." Triton stood awkwardly, scratching his neck. Titania rolled her eyes, "Of course, idiot." She hissed "You're just like your planet." "WHAT."
The two were halted even further with the two Ice giants ambling forth; Naiad next to Neptune, chewing on some taffy. "Quelle le.." Uranus scrunched up his nose at the sight of Neptune's bloodied moon— And..Titania to his aid. Thank goodness he taught her medics before she left him.
"What the ff..HECK- happend here?!" Uranus knelt down to get a better look at the scene. "Don't know. Don't you have anything better to do than question me? Help God damnit!" Titania scolded, adjusting her position so Proteus was in her lap.
Uranus furrowed his brows, clearing his throat. "You should already know, but still.." They looked over at his other moons. "Oberon, get bandages and cloth." He ordered to which Oberon complied hesitantly. "Titania, do you suspect a fractured skull?" The giant squinted his eyes.
"Yeah, most likely. And his necks fucked up too." She sat Proteus up right, supporting his head. He had passed out not too long ago so it was difficult for him to obey demands. "Wake him up." Titania pinched Proteus' ear, applying as much force she could.
"I-I-I'm back!" Oberon pulled up with the equipment, panting slightly. "Umbriel-" The moon already grabbed the things from Oberon, quick to aid Proteus. "Good..Now remove that funky-ass jacket." "MY JACKET IS NOT-"
The girls glared at him, throwing the soaked cloth at him. Triton scoffed, holding the wet vest. Umbriel took the fresh cloth, pressing it against the right side of Proteus' head, not applying too much pressure. Hopefully he can deal with the fractured skull for a bit.
Titania took the bandages and alcohol, using a gause and soaking it with the minty liquid. She dapped it around Proteus' throat wound, which of course, woke him up. "Owewhh it h-hurtss!" He blubbered, kicking his feet. "I know baby, I know." Titania pat his cheek, removing the gauze. She started to unravel the bandages, soon wrapping it around his esophagus area.
Meanwhile, Umbriel tried her hardest to seize his harsh bleeding. She rubbed his head, minding the pressure she added on it. Umbriel took the now maroon stained cloth off, also tossing that over to Triton. She acquired the bandages, alcohol, and gauze from Titania, tearing of a healthy amount to heal his temples. She winced at Proteus' whimpering.
Once the bandages were wrapped semi-tightly around his forehead and back, she backed up, wiping the sweat off her forehead.
Titania repositioned Proteus and began to cradle him. She soothed his cheeks, wiping the salty tears off his face.
Suddenly, Proteus went stiff. "He's seizing, put him on his side-" "Oh my gosh Uranus I KNOW THAT."
Ura scoffed, "Well you asked for help!" He exclaimed, pointing at his large satelite. She rolled her eyes at him, cursing under her breath. Tita' rolled Proteus onto his side, her thigh being used as a pillow to support his head. She rubbed his chest in a circular motion, attempting to bring him to.
Umbriel reached forward to pinch his ears once again-- Two seizures in one day. God damn!!!
After like..Idk 2 minutes Proteus relaxed his body, drool escaping his lips. Umbriel also released her grip on his ear, still staying close incase he went out again. "Well, shows over. Go home Uranus." "Are you kidding m- "LEAVE."

Chapter Text
——
"Ok, let's do this quick and fast," Triton cleared his throat, sitting in front of Neptune's smaller moons. "I'm gonna teach you about Stranger Danger, if you have questions raise your ha-" "What's a stranger danger?" Naiad raised her hand.
Triton stared at her. He had his shades off so you could see his annoyance. "You can ask questions when I'm DONE." He continued ignoring Naiad's query. She huffed, sinking into her lap. "As I was saying, Stranger=bad." Triton put his hands together "Any questions?"
Naiad raised her hand again. "None? Good." The former dwarf planet stood up, fixing his baggy pants. Triton bent his legs again just before taking off to Uranus' moons. The satellites looked at each other perplexed.
Meanwhile with Ura's moons, They were nursing Proteus for the time being since Triton was a dumbass.
Titania had him sitting upright on her thigh, she decided to read him a story which he hardly understood. Triton pulled up in front of the two, crossing his arms. "So," He began "How's the lil' guy holdin' up?" They bent down to Proteus' eye level. The smaller moon stared at him, confused. "Well he's fine..Mostly but since his right cerebral hemisphere is damaged, he lacks attention, perception, learning, memory, recognition and expression of emotion, and neglect." Titania ran her fingers through Proteus' hair, watching as he tried to bite the book.
"He may- No, will experience paralyzing in the left side of his body, so you might need to carry him to places." She glanced at Triton before continuing to play in Proetus' locs. "He won't feel disgust or fear, creativity, emotional or visuo-spatial intelligence. So basically, he's all dull now. No fun shit." Tita' chuckled a bit.
Triton scratched his neck, "Yeah um..I don't understand shit." He admit, grabbing a hold of Proetus' hand. It was cold, of course, but it seemed weak.
Titania scoffed, "Oh yeah, you're stupid." She murmured, rolling her eyelets. Triton glared at her, before resuming to looking at Prote'. He seemed so innocent, he didn't deserve what happend to him. No one deserves it.
"In simpler terms, he probably doesn't even know who you are, he cant focus, feel most emotions.. And his left side is paralyzed." Titania explained once again, "Girl Ion' know what paralyzed means." Triton put Proteus' hand on his slightly bearded face.
"Boy- IT MEANS, his left side ain't workin'." Titania repeat, she was getting fed up with Triton's bullshit. Titania took the drool slobered book from Prote', watching as he tried to reach for it with his right hand. "No, baby you can't eat the book!" The older moon giggled. "Booookkk.." Proteus cooed, lazily looking at said object. "Yeah, book!" Tita' grinned warmly. Triton cracked a smile of his own, still holding onto the smaller moons lifeless hand.
—
‘You've been doing so well lately’
Mercury threw his knife into the air, catching it back. "I have, I know." He snickered.
‘You have to be careful still. You almost got caught.’
Mer' rolled his eyes, "Well, if it wasn't for that stupid kid kicking me in my dick, MAYBE I would've gotten rid of him quicker." He stuck his tongue out, annoyed.
‘Yeah that was funny’
"Shut up."
‘Anyways, you think you're ready for Venus yet? I mean..You seem pretty skilled for killing only three people and hurting one..I'm impressed.’
"Pfft," Mercury sat up straight, staring into nothingness. "Not yet, Venus is larger than me. I've been killing people smaller." He stabbed his knife into an asteroid.
‘So..Are you saying you want bigger?’
Mercury flashed a sadistic smile. "Now you're speaking my language."
‘Hm..How about those big moons..Y'know..’
The Voices change of tone caught Mercury off guard. (think of that one scene in security breach when Vanessa is tryna trick Gregory to come to her)
‘Jupiters moons..Ganymede..Callistoo..’
Mercury thought on it, glancing down at the gas giants.
‘IO..He's stupid enough to fall for anything. There's Europa..’
"IO seems good." Mercy' put a finger in his chin, tapping it. He thought of ways to hurt IO. Choking him. Skinning him. Stabbing his eyes out.
All those thoughts put a wide smile on M's face.
‘Ohohoh..You like big things, don't you?’
Mercury's eyes widened "Eugh- You're disgusting!" He scrunched up his nose, sticking his tongue out dramatically.
Mercury could hear the Voice laugh at him— In all honesty, their laugh was quiet comforting. Maybe that's why he didn't feel lonely anymore. He had someone to talk to..Share his feeling with.
But then again, The Voice is making him do horrible things— Which he doesn't exactly mind.
‘Alright lil man', Get your ass in the fatty's orbit.’
Hermes rolled his eyes at fatty. "Leave Big J alone, not his fault he's a gas giant." They stood up, arching his back while they stretched. He winced, rubbing his stern.
‘So, you do have a thing for big thin-‘
"SHUT UP."
The Voice cackled, sending chills down Mercury's spine. In a good way though!
A/N: I'm sick rn this is so difficult to write.
The planet fixed his jumbled attire. He stared down at the variety of weapons the Voice had gifted him. Knives..Poison..Bleach..Some strabge chemicals he had no idea existed..
They picked up a dagger and a sharpener, giving the blade a few..idk the word..before tossing the sharpener to the side. Mercury used his finger and felt around the edge of the knife, grimacing at the slight stinging sensation that erupted from his nerves. He oddly enjoyed the feeling. Very strange.
A/N: daily reminder mercury has lost it
Hermes shoved the knife into his shorts pocket, careful to not accidentally injure himself. He merrily spun on his heel, fleeing away out of the Kuiper Belt.
He hummed the song from not too long ago..A couple hours? Days? Who knows..He doesn't follow his orbit anymore so he forgot.
No matter.
Mercury swiftly made his way past Neptune's orbit. Then on to Uranus. He wasn't the fastest planet for nothing.
He sniggered to himself, watching how the planets didn't notice his presence. "Im gon' start it off slow.." He muttered, approaching Jupiters orbit.
"Ima’ scope the scenery out, watch out-"
"Mercury is that you?"
Mercy's core dropped as he slowly turned his head around to whom had called him. It was Saturn, he was shocked to say the least. Mercury cursed under his breath, feeling beads of sweat fall down his face. "Hah..Haha..That's right.." He choked out.
A/N: like Dione
Saturn tilted his head, "What're you doing so far from your orbit? Aren't you cold, sweetheart.." He asked worriedly. The tinier planet chuckled nervously, darting his eyes at the other planets who noticed his presence as well. "W-Well..Since my argument with Venus I was just uhm.." He gulped, putting his hands behind his back.
‘Asteroid Belt.’
"Asteroid belt? Wh- ASTEROID BELT- I was in the asteroid belt..!" Mercury claimed, a sheepish smile on his face. Saturn glared at him before shrugging, "I buy it." He admits, making Mercury let out a breath. "You should go back to your orbit..Poor Sunny misses you, dear." They gestured to the star of the Solar system who seemed depressed.
Hermes glanced at him, not feeling any remorse whatsoever. Mercury had lost interest in the Sun these past..Seven days.
"Yeah, was planning on it..Totally." He sighed, just wanting to get out of Saturns eyesight. The jovian nodded, using his large hands to push Mercury closer to the inner system. "Have fun down there, dear!" He grimaced. "Oh- And do be careful, it's not so safe anymore." They added, crossing their arms as he thought of Dione.
Mercury nodded, "Yeah, ok." He groaned waving Cronus off. The larger planet payed no mind to Mercury and waved a goodbye to his fellow planetarium.
—
"Oohoh..Mercury..I missed you..It's so great to have you back!" Sun cooed, holding Mercury up to his face due to his rather large size. Mer' on the other hand was being drenched in the Sun's happy tears, just for them to be evaporated almost instantly. (If yall watch Steven universe I think u get what I mean)
The Sun pecked a kiss on Mercury's head, a wide smile on his face. Mercury was uninterested-- but maybe he could toy with the Sun's feelings..Just for a while.
"Mhm, Yeah Sun..Me too." He forced a smile, Patting Sun's cheek. The star had never been this overjoyed from hearing Mercury's voice. He missed how it sounded. It was a song he'd listen to on repeat. "I appreciate the kindness, Sun but um..Can you put..Put me down?" The smaller celestial cleared his throat, shifting uncomfortably in Sun's hold.
The star squeaked, letting M go free. "I'm so sorry Mercury-" They giggled, putting their hands on their hot fat cheeks. Hermes rolled his eyes, nodding. "Yeah, whatever." He muttered scooting away from the Sun.
In all honesty, Mercury felt dis-placed. He was in the wrong area. He had been in the Kuiper belt for so long, the cold had gotten used to him-- Now, these boiling temperatures felt unreal. This was the first time Mercury felt hot.
He fanned his face, a displeased expression present. Curse Saturn and their large mouth.
No matter, If IO is a success, He'll go right back for Cronus' satelites.
Mercury grinned slyly as he thought through his upcoming plans. Boy, was this gonna be good.
Just wait till everyone's asleep again, no biggie.
——
"Earth." The planet raised a brow at the sound of his name being called. He sighed, forcing a smile. "Luna, what have I told you about interrupting my card games.." He made a straight face, seething. Mars sat across from Earth.
"Yeah, sorry uhmm..It's just, doesn't this seem a bit..Suspicious?" Luna tilt his head, his arms crossed. Earth turned to look at the moon, lowering his cards from his face. "What's suspicious?" He quipped. "Mercury— Like, isn't it weird how he just..Came back from the asteroid belt? Like, if Saturn saw him he obviously wasn't in the asteroid be-" "Mhm yeah, and what else have I told you?"
Luna went quiet as he thought. He made a face, unsure. "Don't get into adult conversations." Earth pulled his ear, "OW- OK SORRY-" The moon squeaked, taking the planets hand off his hearing structure. "Good! Now go um..Do your..Moon things, I dunno.." Earth shrugged, resuming to gamble. Lunar rolled his eyes, rubbing their head side.
Mars exhaled, "He's right, Y'know." This caught Earths attention. "What?" Tierra shuffled in his 'seat'. "About Mercury, it is a bit strange." Ares continued, gesturing to the smaller planet behind Earth. The habitable celestial shrugged. "I ain't too worried about it," He admit. "Ion' really mind, this so called 'killer' is only going after the outer system shits. This has nothing to do with us, ok?" Earth added. Mars was unsure— He looked down. "Babe, are you really scared on this?" The taller planet asked.
Martian glanced back up at Tierra, a sheepish smile on his face. "Oh- Mars you stupid dummy-" Earth burst into laughter, flailing his cars everywhere. "Hey- Keep it down alright!" The red planet shush him up, trying to stop Earth from laughing so hard. "Pfft- No- NO WAY-" The other hollered, bending over. A bright pink spread across Mars' face in embarrassment, "Stop it you-" He shook Earth.
"Hey guys, I'm Mars and I'm afraid of the tiniest planet EVER."
‘You hear that Mercy?
Tiniest Planet.’

Chapter Text
——
IO shuffled in his orbit, unable to sleep. He coughed hysterically, rolling about. His orbit was close to Ganymede and Callisto— Jupiters' first and second largest satellites. He was the third largest with Europa following in dead last. They thought of waking either of the two up so they could babble.
Can you blame him? He's bored! Sleep is for the weak anyway. IO formed a smile as he steadily made his way over to Callisto. The cheese looking moon shook Callisto roughly in an attempt to wake her up. The larger moon groaned, turning away from IO. "Go to sleep, IO.." She mumbled. "But I caaanntt!" He whispered, flopping onto Callisto.
The emo threw him off, resuming her rest. IO grumbled sadly as he crossed his arms; Her eyes trailed over to Ganymede's stern. Her eyes lit up as she made his way to the largest satellites orbit.
"Psst..H-H-Hey Gany-" "No."
IO squeaked as he heard Ganymedes gruff voice. He pouted, crossing his arms. "S-S-S-So mean!" The smaller moon whined. She didn't wanna ask Europa either. One, she was on the other side of Jupiter, and two, She was a mean bossy bot! IO remembers when Europa almost got him in trouble for saying the B-I-T-C-H word..
Whatevers! He doesn't need that meanie in his life anywayss..
She already ruined his chance with Ganymede. How rude!!
IO exhaled dramatically, drifting away from Ganymede. She spun in her own orbit, counting the millions of stars. Then, an idea popped up in his mind. IO simpered widely, rubbing his hands together mischievously. He sniggered, making her way over to the asteroid belt. IO grabbed a few asteroids, doodling on them with his surface.
He hummed giddily, enjoying the peace. She could hear the volcanoes on her surface erupt— Causing him to cough some more. He heard a few shuffling, which caused her to look around before shrugging, resuming their asteroid art piece.
IO then heard the sound again, which in all honesty creeped him out. They trembled, twirling her hair frightfully. "Wh-W-Who's there!" He turned around, facing the asteroid belt. He was shaking in his boots— Except IO wore socks.
"I-I-I-I HAVE AN A-A-ASTEROID AND IMNOTAFRAIDTOUSEIT!!" He exclaimed, puffing up his chest to seem more fierce. IO's eyebrows furrowed into a look of worry as the shuffling became louder. She scanned the array of boulders before letting out a shaky sigh. "Alright, I-I-Im goooing to sleep now.." They spun on their heel, dropping the asteroids he had before.
As IO started to float away, he was grabbed by his arm and dragged into the asteroid belt. "AHAGAHAHAHHHAHAHHSJWQJKESJ" IO...just IOed..Idk he's insane.
The person who grabbed them put force into IO's head side, knocking him out almost instantly. (Think of cartoon faces w x's on their eyes and their tongue is out)
Mercury stared at the larger celestial. "That was.. Easy.." He mumbled, tilting his head to the side in query.
Told you he was stupid
"Uhm, yeah, I get that, but..Wow." Mercury shrugged, resuming to tug the moon into the asteroid belt. Holy SHIT IO was weighty. The smaller planetoid grumbled as he struggled to bring IO's lifeless form deeper into the asteroid belt.
Once he reached far enough, he let IO just.. Float around the boulders. Mercury circled the moon, pondering on what to do to him.
Then, a lightbulb went off in his mind, making Mer' grin mischievously. He reached into his shorts pocket, carefully taking his dagger out. Hermes put his foot on IO's stomach, leaning down to his facial area. They started to plunge the blade into IO's neck, intending to cut out his larynx.
Unfortunately for Mercury, the surge of pain woke IO up immediately, sending the moon into panic. IO started to push Mercy off his body, whimpers, escaping his dry lips. The planet growled, forcing the knife above IO's windpipe. The cheesy colored moon gurgled as he tried to fight Mercury off. They tried to ignore the agony she felt from her throat, which is, of course, difficult.
Hermes' face brightened as he felt IO's larynx come loose. "Yay!" He chimed, ripping the moons' voice box out of its socket. IO attempted to let out a scream, albeit all that came out was a hoarse... nothing. LMAO
"Quit whining, cuh." Mercy' bat his eyelashes at the struggling celestial.
Is
Is this bitch TEASING HIM.
IO 'scoffed' kicking Mercury in his crotch area. "AGH NOT AGAI-" The planet seethed, falling off IO's body, holding his area in pain. IO got on their knees fixing their— Well, GANYMEDES sweater.
Hermes looked up just to be met with IO's fist to his face, sending a shock of pain throughout the planets facial area. He groaned, holding his nose. IO held his neck, wary of the dark crimson liquid that spurt out his esophagus. They let a few tears fall down their face before standing up and giving Mercury a kick in his side, the salt water pouring out his eyelets the more force he put into his attacks.
IO bent over, clawing at the gash in her windpipe. He gurgled, spitting out a combination of saliva and blood. The moon fixed the gaze to where Mercury last was at, just to find him gone. Whatever, that's a sign to get the HELL out of there.
IO carefully made his way out the asteroid belt, coughing harshly. What made this situation worse is that he wore a white T-Shirt!! Damnit. They nearly fell due to the amount of blood loss, but Y'know what they all say. Never Back Down, Never What?
IO bit his lip as he finally reached in between Callisto and Ganymedes Orbit. He tried to call out for the two, only for a dry whine to be heard. She could feel her tears mix with the sticky maroon under her chin. Was all hope lost? Nope! Never give up!
IO clenched his teeth together, shaking Callisto roughly. The larger moon grumbled, fanning the other away. IO insisted on ruining her sleeping schedule, and so, Calli' finally got up, yawning momentarily. "What do you..Wa.." She stared at the hyperactive celestial, a expression of worry overtaking her. "Ok..What the fuck happened to you?" Callisto held IO's shoulders, taking a closer look at his open, and bleeding wound. "Shit- How are we 'posed to stop that now, hm?"
She put a hand on her face, avoiding to stare at IO. "Sorry, Blood and shit make me dizzy." They apologized, gagging. IO rolled his eyes just to lose consciousness in Callisto's lap. The larger moon squeaked, "IO get up you fatass!" She picked up his motionless body. "Ehh- Ganyme-" "No."
.
"No? Fuck you mean 'No.' This is serious you dumbass!" She growled, using her hand to pause IO's harsh bleeding. Ganymede turned over to face the two, his monotonous expression quickly morphed into a shocked one. "Oh." Was all he could mutter before scooting over to his Allies.
IO's throat was cut open, you could see his esophagus and lower windpipe due to how the predator had sliced it. The sticky red potion dribbled out of the gash, it bubbled due to IO's surface scorching hot temperature. The largest moon of the three cringed, turning away from the horrific sight. "I..I'll just.." He gagged. "I'll wake up..Jupiter." Ganymede state, removing himself from the scene.
Callisto nodded, darting her eyes across the area to see whatever could help. Nothing. They grumbled, fixing IO's posture up on her lap; She could feel his slow breaths, hearing how he heaved just sent shivers down her cold spine. Callisto never enjoyed gore-- She hated the thought of it. Thank goodness the brain ignores the feeling of your organs moving. She probably would have killed herself.
I'm not saying she hasn't tried.
Callisto pushed that thought deep down, putting her mind back on IO's unresponsive body. "C'mon IO.." She mumbled, glancing away from the blood that painted her fingers. After this, she's vomiting. Promise.
"Where the hell is, Ganymede.." They queried, worridley. How long does it take to wake up the..Largest planet ever..
Now that she thought of it, Jupiter was a heavy sleeper. Calli kept rocking IO's body. She could hear him stir to consciousness once again, "Don't move too much." She warned, wrapping her other arm around the latter's waist. Callisto wasn't a medic. She knew absolutely nothing about the celestial body. Albeit she could tell exactly what was happening to her friend.
A wave of relief washed of Callisto's body as she felt Jupiter's gravitational pull shift. Just as she expected, Ganymede came over, his hand on his hip. "Before you get all bitchy, the fatass is a heavy sleeper." The larger moon explained, admiring at his nails- Which IO forcefully painted. "Yeah, I could tell." Callisto changed her position so that IO was sitting upright.
They also sensed Jupiter's gaze on them. "What the hell." The giant furrowed his brows, squinting his eyelets at his moons. "Yeah umm..What do we do." Ganymede rubbed his elbow, acting all innocent as if he didn't just insult Jupiter not too long ago. "Get bandages of course! Do I need to tell you everything?" "BUT I DONT-" "Ganymede."
The moon grumbled, leaving the scene once again for..Medical supplies-- If they even had that. The jovian took a closer look at the two satelites before him, examining IO's breathing pattern, the way the blood spewed out his cut, her organs moving alongside her gasps for air.
It was interesting but still gruesome in its own unique way. Jupiter gulped, adjusting his glasses. "You're doing a great job uhm..." He forgot her name again. "Callisto." The moon reminded, blowing the hair out her face. "Right," Zeus cracked a small smile. "You're doing great, Callisto." The satellite he was referring to rolled her eyes, keeping a gaze on the smaller moon before her possession. She studied how his tears steadily rained from his eyes as he took in the agony. IO pointed into the distance, making Callisto look in the direction he was directing her to. Ganymede was coming back with a few supplies; He probably stole those. Who knows.
(I know, and he did)
"Callistic do this cause I don't feel like getting my hands dirty." Ganymede dropped the wrapping in his "twins" lap. Calli' stared at him, then glimpsed IO's sliced neck, then back at Gany. The larger moon whined, "But I just got my nails do-" "Me too, I'm not complaining."
Ganymede glared at her, dropping to assist his friend. They grabbed a cotton swab, drenching it with alcohol and dabbing it around IO's throat. The smaller moon gripped onto Ganymedes hand, squeezing it in pain. The burning sensation mixed with a headache set off a few volcanoes on IO's surface, leaving Callisto to be blown with dust. "Thanks IO, I appreciate." She sighed, using her feee hand to wipe the ash off. Gany' cackled at Callisto's misery, resuming aiding IO.
He knew Jupiter was staring into his core. That's why he hadn't said any rude comment— Yet. Ganymede cleared his throat, neatly tying the bandage wrap into a bow. "Good as new, now go to bed." They joked, wiping their hands off with idk,,what do you wipe your hands off with? Ass.
A/N: HELP WHAT AM I DOING.
IO carefully moved himself out of Callisto's hold; He was taken aback from how fucking fast she left. "Don't mind her E-O, she doesn't really..Like blood." Jupiter explained, relaxing his nerves as he got back into his resting position. "Yeah, she prolly went to go vomit." Ganymede snickered, nudging IO's arm. The other sadly avert her gaze to him.
Ganymede did the same, confused. "What? Cat got your ton- Oh. OH.."
IO sniffled, wincing. Ganymede put his arm around IO's elbow, rubbing it comfortingly. "Sorry, I guess.." He choked out in his rough voice. IO nodded slightly, resting his head on Gany's shoulder. The larger satellite was surprised a little but complied with the affection. He pulled IO into a sitting position, him putting his head on a nearby asteroid in Jupiters orbit. He sighed, stargazing. "I like your voice, E- IO. I hope you know that." Ganymede admit, a tingly sensation spread across his cheeks.
"Too bad I won't hear it again."

———
Mercury stared into the distance, sweat pooling down his chin as he kept a psychotic grin. IO was staring at him. He was angry, and craved vengeance. Mercury just struck a pose, tilting his head to the side and twisting his knees. IO glanced away from the planet, going behind Jupiter— Who knows, he was no longer in Mercury's sight.
Mercury let out a heavy breath, wiping the sweat off his forehead. His smile disappeared almost instantly as he turned around so he was facing the Sun. Mercy' swallowed his spit, thinking hard on what to do. IO was still alive. Sure, he had no capability of speaking, but who knows what he could do.
"Ahah..Mercury you're a idiot.." He mumbled to himself. They shook their head, grumbling. "This is so stupid-- What am I even doing anymore.." He continued, hiding his face into his hands.
‘Womp womp’
"Oh you've gotta be fuckin' with me.." Mercury growled, lowering his palms. "What do you want? Here to criticize me?' He assumed, crossing his arms.
‘Yup!’
"Fucking kill yourself."
‘Nope!’
Hermes kicked a nearby pebble into the Sun, watching as it disintegrated almost instantly. He clenched his fists into a tight ball, anger boiling up in his core.
‘What's wrong’
"It's the idiot named I-Fuck, what am I supposed to do if he tells anyone that it was me?! I'm screw-"
‘How.’
Mercury raises his brow, crossing his arms "What do you mean, how?"
‘How does he tell them.’
The planets eyes widened as he put a hand over his mouth. "That was NOT funny." He scolded, staring at his feet.
‘It was funny.
It was so funny the author giggled.’
"The what?"
‘What.’
Mercury squinted his eyes, dropping his hand to his side. Uneasy he nodded, turning back to face the other planets. "What do I do.." They mumbled, furrowing their brows warily.
‘Luna’
"Huh?"
‘Get Luna, he thinks it's you.’
Mercury's breath hitched, "NO- Luna didn't do anything to me!" He protest, "He's one of my best friends I can't do that.." Hermes sulked, glancing over at the Earths Moon. He was helping Earth win a game of cards by cheating. "He seems happy.." They groaned. "I want that."
‘Then take it.’
"I can't.." Mercy' 'sat' in his orbit, putting his knees to his chest.
‘You killed Pluto with no problem, what's the difference now?’
"That's different, I actually had a reason for Pluto."
‘You didn't have a reason for Ariel or Pro..Palm..Pro-shit whatever his name is.’
"LISTEN- Ariel called me a woman."
‘Giant woman, you liked being called a giant and giant women are hot.’
"True.." Mercury rest his head on his knees, staring at the stars.
‘Are you wussing out? Need some guidance like a moon?’
"Don't you ever." Mercy' grit his teeth, closing his eyes tightly. "I am not a moon." They growled. "Don't call me a moon." He hissed.
‘Then quit acting like one.’
Hermes let out a grunt as he stood up, rubbing his eyes groggily. He started to drift out his orbit— Just to be stopped by none other than the Sun.
"Eh- Mercury, where are you going?" The Sun chimed, stooping down to the Planets face. Mercury sighed, "Asteroid belt," He mumbled, stopping in his tracks. "Why ask?" They'd glare over at the larger celestial, a sickening look on his face.
The star's breath hitched as he caught a glimpse of Mercury's crazed stare. They stammered, "W-Well..It's no-not safe...Y'know?" The star did shy hands as he advert his eyes to something else. He could feel Mercy's sickening gaze on him, a bead of sweat ran down his forehead just to be evaporated instantly. "Are you calling me weak, Sol?" The planetoid quipped in a throaty voice. Sun's eyes widened, "NO- Not at all! I just-" "Are you saying I cannot fend for myself?" Poison tinged Hermès' tone as he cocked his head to the side, his eyebrow raised a bit as his eye twitched.
Shivers went down the Sun's spine as Mercury's beady eyes met his. Their stare was more terrifying than being at gunpoint. Honestly, Sun would rather supernova then face his insane partner. "Just..Just go, Mercury..." They turned the other way, creeped out by Mercy's presence, "Oh, so now you don't want me here?" The Sun scoffed, putting a hand to his chest in defense.
"Of course I do! You're making this difficu-" Mercury cut him off, "Me? You're the one yelling!" He sniffled, covering his face. "What- Mercury I-" "Why're you being so mean!? Do..Do you not like me any- anymore.." The smaller celestial whimpered, forcing salty tears to fall down his cheeks. "Mercury that's-"
"You never wanted me here did you!?" Mer' choked out, hiding a sinister smile behind his palms. The Sun's lips curled upwards in shock. "Why would you think that?! I was just looking out for you and now you're..." The star sighed, "You can go to the asteroid belt if you want Mercury..I don't mind." They muttered in defeat. Mercury let out a small giggle. "Thanks!" He wiped his tears, blowing a kiss to the Sun. "Byee!" They'd wave, floating away from his 'partner.'
As he passed by Earths orbit, he sensed Luna watch him closely. Once Mercury was out of view, Luna cleared his throat. "Ma, I'll be right back.." He stated as Earth tutted. "Where you goin'?" The planet questioned, keeping his eyes on his cards. "Asteroid belt." The moon deadpanned, sighing.
"Why?" Earth raised his brow suspiciously. "Uh..Just saw something in there soo uhm..I wanted to check it out..!" Luna gulped, blinking rapidly. "You sure, boy?" Mars but in, bringing his own eyebrow upwards. "Is this an interrogation.." Moon glanced between the two adults he considered is paternal figures; They were now facing him, "Yeah.." Earth placed his hand on his lower waist, sloping his head to the side; Mars crossed his arms as he tilt his him.
"Ion' know what yo' dumbass is gon' do in the asteroid belt, but.." Earth bat his eyelashes "If it has sum' to do with Mercury.." He bent down to Luna's height, grabbing his ear roughly to which the moon winced. "You better bet I ain't helpin' you outta no mixup, got it?" They declared, letting go of Moons ear. "My son ain't no thuggie, I know that fo' sure." Earth returned to his normal height, propping his head onto his shoulder. "Now have fun!" They nudged Luna towards the asteroid belt.
The satellite mumbled something under his breath as he left his parents. Earth and his cocky attitude.. Mars doing whatever Earth pleases and for what? Likes? As if the two don't make out every damn millisecond. "Bullshit." Luna hissed, pushing a asteroid out his way, darting his eyes across the belt in search for Mercury.
"Ugh- Where'd that suspicious ass planet go?" He out his hands in his waist, making duck lips. What a hypocrite.
A/N: by that I mean on how he's calling earth zesty while he's the exact same thing 🤵🏾♀️
They flinched upon hearing shuffling from behind a couple asteroids, he gulped moving his hands to his elbows, rubbing them frightened. "Mercury if you're here..Sh-Show yourself-" Luna demanded, puffing his chest up. He immediately lowered his stance upon hearing more louder movements.
"I was joking." He glanced to the side, making a sheepish smile. Then, Mercury lunged at him, a knife raised in his right arm as a sinister smile painted his expression.
Luna shrieked, putting his hands up in defense; "W-WAIT MERCURY WE C-CAN TALK T-TH-THIS O-OUT!" The moon stammered, his eyes dilating as adrenaline quickly filled his veins. "I call bull." Mercury huffed, striking the knife at Moon who dodged swiftly. "P-PLEASE M-M-M-MERCURY I-I'LL DO A-ANYTHING!" The satellite begged, dropping to their knees getting in a pleading position. Hermes smirked.
"Anything?"

1 day, 5 hours after.
Luna's breath hitched as he sat in Earth orbit, staring into his sweaty palms. As his parents gossiped next to him. He paid no mind to them as thoughts ran throughout his head. What laid in his hands was a Swiss army knife. Every time his eyes caught a glimpse of it, tears clouded his vision. Their throat was dry with a lump stuck there.
Luna felt an asteroid pinch his side, forcing him to look in the direction of the boulder. He examined the rock, his core dropping as he read what was carved into it.
'TikTok.'
Moon hesitantly looked over at Mercury's orbit to see him staring at him with a wide smile on his face. He had his hands behind his back as he leaned his head to the side. Luna hadn't noticed how frightening Mercury had started to look-- It was out of character for him. Part of him wanted to help Mercury out of his craze so all this madness could stop before it got out of hand.
Well
It already did.
Luna squeezed his eyes shut, seething. He kicked the asteroid away. Hatred and sadness mixed up in his core, a sick feeling emerging in his stomach the more he pondered on what he's being forced to accomplish. And for what? Just for Mercury's sick pleasure. Who knows what he might do to him afterwards.
The satelite let out a shriveled huff, adverting his gaze to his planet. With a shaky hand, he tapped Earths shoulder. The egocentric celestial hummed, turning to face Luna. He raised his brow in confusion; why did Moon look so frightened?
"What happened, boo-boo?" Earth cupped Luna's face, worry over-taking him. Moon shook his head, taking Earths hands off his cheeks. "It's n-nothing. I'm f-fi-fine." He blinked hysterically, making the planets eyebrows furrow in concern. "Are you sure? You blink fast when you're lying to me." Earth crossed his arms, a frown on his face.
"Y-You know when i'm lying." Luna deadpanned. Earth sniggered, "I'm your mother, Luna. Of course, I know when my baby's lying.." His smile faded. "But seriously, is everything ok?" They quiered, squinting their eyes at Luna.
The moon nodded, "I jus-Just wanted to ask if I- I could.." He took a breath. "Could I g-go see T-Ti.." The words felt bitter coming out his mouth as he tried to keep his tears in. "Titan. Can I s-see Titan." He slowly made eye contact with Earth, who squeaked in surprise. "We're you just nervous to ask me that, hun?" He leaned down to Luna's height, a small smile on his face.
"Haha..Yeah." Moon looked away, swallowing down the lump in his throat. Earth cooed, pinching his cheek. "Awhh, Boo-boo, you don't have to be scared! I don't bite, trust." He rolled his eyes. "Now go see your little friend, be back by...8 pm, sharp." Moon nodded, backing off before making his way towards the asteroid belt.
Once he was out of Earths point of view, more tears swelled in his eyes as he prepared himself for the upcoming sin he was to commit. He choked up a sob, wiping his eyes and shoving the knife into his shorts near the waist area.
A/N: like just putting the knife there,,I shove my phone in my waist band area too.
Luna fixed his attire, clearing his throat as he steadily left the asteroid belt, passing through Jupiter's orbit and Saturn's, where the love of his life resided.
They hesitantly asked Saturn for Titan, the planet cooing. "You two are so cute!" They exclaimed, nudging Titan towards Luna. "Ma' stop." Titan groaned, looking the other way. He took a hold of Luna's hand, guiding him to the asteroid belt per Luna's request
It was silent the entire stroll. Well, it was really because the two were getting stared at by the other moons. Once the two had arrived at their destination, they took a seat on a log looking asteroid. It was uncomfortably quiet, with Luna deeming away from Titan. The larger moon cleared his throat, putting a hand on Luna's. "Is everything ok?" He asked worriedly.
Luna choked up, sniffling. "Titan, I'm so sorry." The smaller moon announced in a brittle voice as he slowly averted his gaze to Titan's eyes. "What?" The satellite murmured, cupping Luna's face. "What happened? Why're you apologizing, love?" Titan peered into Moon's glossy eyelets, wiping the small tears that fell down his face. "I.. I know who's the.." Luna hiccuped, embracing his partner into a hug.
Titan's eyes widened as he returned the gesture, rubbing circles in the smaller moons back. "Who is it.." He whisperers in a deep husky voice, giving Moon goosebumps. The satellite shook his head, "I'm sorry, T-Titan. I'm s-so sor-ryy.." They sobbed into Titans chest, reaching into their waistband to acquire the weapon. "Hey, Hey, it's alright." Titan broke the hug, gazing into Luna's eyes lovingly. "I love you." He smiled, wiping away the tear streaks from his partners cheeks.
Unfortunately for him, he was thrown onto his side by none other than our favorite planet, Mercury!! Luna gasped, horrified at the sight of the psycho. "Sorry, I got impatient." Mercury cackled, grabbing Titan by his hair and dragging him to a rough asteroid. "Choose a number from one to ten, Luna." He had a sinister grin on his face as he positioned Titans head over the asteroid. The moon decided to comply with Mercury's wishes. Hopefully, his fate wasn't to be too bad. Hopefully, Luna has something in mind.
The smaller moon whimpered, unable to speak from the cries that escaped his lips. He was bent over, grasping his stomach while covering his mouth, trying to muffle the weeps. "Hurry up." Mercury groaned, annoyed with Luna's sobbing. Moon shook his head frantically, denying Mercury's request. "L-Let him g-go!" They bawled, reaching for Titan.
Titan, on the other hand, showed no emotion as small tears of his own strolled down his face, small sniffling being heard. "It's ok." They reassured Luna, wincing as the moons face metamorphosed into a wracking expression, his eyes bloodclot and puffy as snot and sweat ran down their chin. Titan squeezed his eyes shut, trying to ignore his heart broken boyfriend.
"You two are so weird." Mercury announced, sticking his tongue out in disgust. "That's ironic for you to say." Titan hissed, glaring into the asteroid as he felt Mercury's eyes pierce the back of his head. "Haha, so funny." Mercy' scoffed, rolling his eyes as he lifted Titans' head up. "Last words, lil' man?"
"I hate you."
And with that, Hermes slammed Titans face into the boulder repeatedly, applying as much force he could. Luna squeezed his eyes shut, loud whining being heard throughout the asteroid belt. He grits his teeth, slapping his sweaty hands over his eyes, not being able to watch Titans demise. He let out sobs while arching his back over, covering his head. He didn't even wanna hear it.
"S-STOP I-IT PL-PLE-EASE!" Luna wailed, coughing. Mer' just laughed at his sadness, bashing in Titans face once more, grimacing as the blood splashed onto his own face. The ocean blue fluid splattered onto Luna's hands, sending the satellite into more terror as he gasped at the blue liquid in his hands.
Titans blood was on his hands.
His lovers blood shed on his palms.
It's all his fault.
"NO!" He punched random asteroids, kicking his feet. Luna was in so much devastation that he threw a tantrum. "L-LEAVE HIM ALO- hiccup lmao -ONE!" They pleaded. Oh my gosh, the planets were really deaf.
Before you ask, Ceres sees all this happening.
Titan's face was being scraped, pieces of his flesh being flung onto the asteroid with the more his head came in contact with it. Sure, he was in a shit ton of pain, but he had to conceal it for Luna. Blood spewed out his nose as he felt the bridge break. He gripped onto the asteroid, scraping his hands in the process. He choked up gooey ichor, painting his chin with the blue substance. He let out groans of discomfort the more his face was plunged into the rock. Titan could feel the life slipping from his fingertips as he gasped for air.
Mercury had his foot rested on Titans back, lifting his head up so Luna could see. "C'mon, Moonie.." They teased the depressive satellite. "Don't you wanna see his pretty face for the last time?" He snickered. Luna shook their head, weeping hysterically. "Look at me, Luna." Mercy' demanded, venom lacing his tone. The moon shakily lowered their hands, horrified at the sight of Titans putrid face.
It hurt Luna. It hurt him so much.
"W-Why are you do-doing this.." Luna sat upright, avoiding his partners revolting features. "Why? BECAUSE ITS FUCKING FUNNY, LUNA!" Mercury laughed, "ITS CALLED HAVING A SENSE OF HUMOUR!!" He flung Titans face into the asteroid anew, grimacing at the cold water that dribbled out the sides. He let go of the moons hair, wiping the blood off his face. "He's all yours." Hermes cackled as he 'walked' over to where Luna resided. The moon had his hands clasped over his mouth, silencing his noisy wails. "Don't fuck with me, Luna." Mercury whispered into their ear, his hot breath making Luna uncomfortable. "Next time I tell you to do something, get it done."
"Go to hell.." Moon growled as Mercury left his side. He hurriedly scrambled to Titan's lifeless corpse, cradling him. "Titan..I-I'm so so-sorry.." They hiccuped, holding his hands. "I..I lo-love you, T-Titan. I love you.." Luna cried, burying his face into the satellites chest. "Why.." He sobbed.
The knife he had in his waistband had poked him, reminding Luna of the weapon.
Maybe all hope wasn't loss.
The satelite steadily brought the knife out, staring at the tip, "I'm coming Titan..!" He forced a smile, plunging the blade into his chest.
They cried out, grasping Titans arm in anguish. He heaved, bending over. Luna coughed up blood, his vision going blurred.
That wasn't enough.
He grabbed the weapon out his chest, ignoring the vital fluid that spewed out his cut. With much force and determination, Luna slit his throat, falling into Titan's arms.
In muscle reflex, Titan's hand held onto Luna's.
So there they lay, hand in hand and deceased.
The funny thing is, the asteroid formed a heart with Titans blood.

"LUNA." Earth hollered, crossing his arms angrily. Luna hadn't come back at 8 like promised, and now his earthlings are facing tidal changes. "Where is that boy.." They sighed, scrunching up his nose. He was then tapped on the shoulder, bringing his attention to the right. There was nothing, and then he was tapped on his opposite side yet again, forcing a grumble out the worrisome planet. "Mars, this isn't the time for games." Tierra pinched the space between his nose, cursing under his breath.
The once confident narcissist had metamorphosed into a depressive state. He's still a narcissist, but y'know.
Mars, who was messing with him, stood in front of his troubled boyfriend. "Is everythin' alright?" He questioned, taking a hold of Earths hands. Earth grunted, "No! I can't find Luna, and I'm..Worried." He admit, looking away from Mars. Ares' eyebrows furrowed. "Saturn's lookin' for Titan too..Do you think—" "NO!" Earth shouted, pulling away from Martian. "No..That- That won't happen. That didn't happen." He gulped, putting a hand on his chin. "Maybe Luna is just..In the asteroid belt with Titan and lost track of time..! Y'know.." He convinced himself, forming a small smile.
"Earth.." The light russet planet winced. "Yeah, ok, fine." He sighed."I'll help you look for Luna, is that alrigh' with you?" They tilting their head to the side, crossing their arms. "Please." Tierra mumbled sadly. Mars smiled a bit, leaning forward to peck Earths cheek, "Hey, if anythin' happens, I'm here for you. Alrigh'?" He put his hands on Earths shoulders, watching the habitable planetoid closely. "Mhm.." Gaia nodded slightly, glancing away from Ares.
-
"TITAN?? TITTAAAANNNN!!!!" Saturn yelped, practically running around in circles. "Here we go again." Enceladus muttered, rolling his eyes. "This time, it's gonna be him in the asteroid belt with his mans, Trust." Mimas snickered with his nasally voice. "Real." Hyperion agreed, covering his laughs. "We can't be so sure of this." Iapetus but in, a stern look on his face.
The other moons turned to face him, analyzing his movements. "Ia', don't put your mind in the gutter. I'm sure they're fine and were probably fuc-" "DON'T YOU EVER." Enceladus cut off Mimas, who started cackling. The larger moon of the two scrunched up his nose, flashing his braids out of his face. "Will you idiots at least think about it? Titan isn't that stupid to leave for that long, and the Earth's moon has curfew most of the time." Iapetus continued, stuffing his hands into his sweater pocket.
The other satellites went quiet as they realized what Ia' could've been yappin' about. "He..Has a point." Enceladus contribute, adjusting his spectacles. "If Titan isn't back then, maybe.." His breath hitched. "Forget it, just hope he gets back." They shook their head.
"And if he doesn't?" Mimas raised his brow. "I guess Ia' is the new biggest moon of Saturn." Enceladus shrugged. "Hooray." Iapetus deadpanned, turning away from the group angrily.
"What's up his ass? If I was gonna be the new largest moon of Saturn, I'd be happy!" Mimas snort, a shit eating grin on his face. "You should be the largest moon with how fat you are." Enceladus scoffed. The smaller moon pouted, "I'M NOT FAT!" He growled. "YOU CAN'T EVEN JUMP! YOU FAT LIKE JUPITER KINDA FAT." The other retort, putting his hands on his hip.
"I'M JUST BIG BONED OK.." Mimas whined, blushing in embarrassment. "BIG BONED MY ASSHOLE!" Enceladus turned away, throwing his hair back. "One day, I'm gonna be leaving here before you consume all of us with your body weight."
"O-OH YEAH? WELL, ATLEAST I DONT SOUND LIKE AN OLD PIECE OF SHIT!" The small moon crossed his arms, bearing his teeth. "YOU'D BE THE TYPE TO SAY..'Back in my day..'" He panted, "'Come here, sonny..I can't hear you..' ASS BITCH." They stuck their tongue out, blowing raspberries.
Enceladus rolled his eyes. He floated over to where Iapetus had gone, his expression softening. He could still hear Mimas' annoying callbacks. It sent a ringing throughout his ears, much to his displeasure.
They shook themselves, blocking out the annoying oversized asteroid behind him. He came to a halt at Iapetus' side, clearing his throat. "Are you uh..Alright?" Enceladus stared off into the distance, Ia' doing the same.
The larger satellite groaned, "Gee, I don't know, Enceladus. Maybe I'm totally alright with the fact that my older brother figure could be dead." Iapetus sighed. Enceladus made a tiny 'o' shape with his lips as he hissed. "Listen, Ia', I'm not like Mimas or Hyperion.. Maybe even Tethys." He avert his gaze to the taller male, relaxing his eyelids.
"I care about Titan's safety, and I know how important he is to you." They admit. Iapetus looked down at Enceladus, staring into his starry eyes. "Our height difference is really off." Enceladus suddenly blurted, which made a small laugh amit from Iapetus.
Daily reminder they can fly,,idk im embarrassed when i write them literally floating,,,
The smaller moon levitated up to Iapetus' height, cupping his cheeks. "This better?" He quipped, tilting his head a little. "Very much so." Ia', muttered as the two leaned in for a kiss. It wasn't too long, nor was it too short. It felt just about right. They pulled away, glimpsing each others lips before heading for another one.
Iapetus moved his hands around Enceladus' waist, bringing him closer. The smaller moon gripped onto Iapetus' braid, sending shivers down their spine. Ia' stifled a grunt, grasping Enceladus' shirt. He slowly set his hands un-
"TIIIATAAANNNNNN!!!!"
The two pull away, annoyed at their planet. "Fucking hell.." Enceladus murmured, fixing his shirt. Iapetus shrugged, gazing elsewhere, his lips tinted with a horrifically light cyan. "That fat ass with his fat fucking mouth- He probably absorbed Titan with his obesity." They continued in a croaky voice.
Meanwhile with Saturn, he was freaking the fuck OUT.
Jupiter had been trying to calm him down, trying to cover his own worry. "Saturn, please rela-" "NO!" The other Jovian barked, clasping his hands over his eyes. He could feel tears swell in his eyes as his throat went dry. "You don't..Get it." He mumbled, choking out a sob. Jupiter's expression softened at Saturn's depressive state. He wrapped a arm around their shoulder, "I know, And I probably can't defend myself either."
Satuu' sniffled, crossing his arms. "You don't know how important Titan is to me." He gulped, "I see him as my son, Jupiter." The tears slid down his face, something that happened often. "You wouldn't get that because your moons are just your..A team." Saturn faced the other way angrily. "I don't play favorites, Saturn." Jupiter squinted his eyes, "But, let's not argue." He sighed, removing his hold around the giant. "I'll go look for Titan."
Saturns eyes glistened as he nodded, wiping the salted water off his cheeks. Jupiter cracked a smile, smooching Saturn's cheek affectionately before retreating someplace else.
"Alright." He exhaled, fixing his reflectors. "If I were a moon..Where would I be.." They scanned the area intently, tapping their chin. He hummed, watching the asteroid belt. He thought of how it'd fall apart if his gravity were to magically disappear. It amused him.
Zeus shook his head, clearing his throat as he got back to the task at hand. "Danmit, where is this troublesome child.." He grumbled, leaning towards the belt with much 'interest'. He squint his eyelets, furrowing his brows.
His moons are probably making fun of him for wasting his time; this is way better than hearing Saturn whine and complain for eons. Jupiter nearly gagged as a revolting smell came near his nose. "Shit." He muttered, following where the scent was emitting from. Jupi' knew what was about to come of this. He obviously doesn't wanna see a rotting corpse, he just had to be sure it was both Titan and Luna.
Jupiter saw a few splotches of maroon, with a mixture of blue. His breath hitched as he took a closer look at where it came from.
Titan and Lunar. Holding hands..How sweet! Too bad they're both dead.
"Oh." Was all Jupiter could say as he analyzed the crime scene. His eyes trailed onto the asteroid with dried blood on it. Then his gaze darted over to the small heart formed with a darkened blue substance. Titan's blood.
"Oh fffuck.."
-
"LUNAAA!!!" Earth gripped his hair, bearing his teeth. Mars watched him closely, putting his arms over Earth's shoulders. "Earth, please calm dow-"
"FUCK YOU MEAN 'C-Cal-Calm d-down Earth!! Th-This isn't l-like you!!'" Gaia mocked, pushing Ares off, "I CAN'T FIND MY MOON MARS!" They exclaimed, putting their arms up in fury. "DO YOU UNDER-FUCKING-STAND??" He scoffed, rubbing their eyes in frustration.
"I understand but you don't need to swear so much— My kids are here." Mars gestured to Phobos and Deimos who were beside him, playing tag. They paused their game, "Hi!!" Deimos waved before resuming chasing Phobos.
"Mine isn't." Earth spoke monotonously, "I don't give a flying fuck about your asteroids Mars." He placed a hand on his hip, fanning off his partner. "What I do care about, is finding my SON! LUNNAAAA!!!" Earth yelled anew, moving farther from the Goldilocks Zone. "I know you're desperate, man, trust me." "BLAH BLAH BULLSHITTT— LUNARRR!"
"But Earth, I can't let you leave your orbit cause if anythin' happens to you-" "LUNA MY PREEECIOUSS MOON, IF YOU COME BACK I'LL GROUND YOU FOR ONLY A LEAP YEAR!" Earth huffed, "WHICH IS IN ANOTHER FOUR YEARS-" He strained his voice, ignoring Mars' lecture. "If anythin' happens to your lice, this is your fault! Ion' wanna hear you complainin' to me later." The russet planetoid crossed his arms, flying in front of Gaia.
"Move you fat-" "OH I'M FAT?"
"YES YOU'RE FAT— NO, ION' WANNA HEAR YOUR DUMBASS YAPPING ABOUT HOW JUPITER IS FATTER THAN THE SUN SINCE YOU'RE ALMOST AS BIG AS HIM! I'M THE HOPELESS ROMANTIC? LAST TIME I CHECKED, YOU WERE GOING 'W-WAHHH WAAHHH I MISS EARTHIE POO...MY POOKIEEE!!' OVER ME WHEN MY ORBIT WAS THE SLIGHTEST AWAY FROM YOURS."
"IM NOT AS FAT AS JUPITER AND HIS OBESIVE ASS GRAVITATIONAL BODY WEIGHT, HE PROBABLY- NO HE HAS ABSORBED THE- DIE, I AM NOT FAT YOU HOPELESS ROMANTIC!!"
Phobos and Deimos watched the two planets argue, a concerned expression on their face.
"WHATEVER, I'M GOING TO LOOK FOR LUNA!" Earth waved off Mars, drifting off. "FINE THEN!" Ares grumbled, pouting.
Tierra cursed under his breath as he scanned Mars' orbit in hope to find his moon. Then, an idea popped in his head, his face brightening a little. "Jupiter!"
Earth waved for Jupiter's attention, huffing at the Jovian who stared into space. "Jupiterrr!! Look down here you fatso— Are you that big you can't look down?" He exhaled, grabbing a nearby asteroid and throwing it with all his might, just enough to grab Jupi's attention.
"Hm?" The giant relaxed his eyes, leaning down to see what Earth wanted. "Can you help me find Moon?" The smaller planet queried, a look of determination on his face. "Oh, I..I know where he..He is Earth.." Jupiter gulped, glancing to the side, sweat falling down his forehead.
"AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!" Earth barked, catching the attention of the other planetoids. "Look, I didn't know how to..Approach this conversation.." Zeus put his hands up defensively. He could feel the other gas giants' eyes bore into his head. "W-What's that supposed to mean?" Earth's voice softened as his core dropped, their eyes widening as a wave of guilt and regret rushed over him.
"Earth I'm sorry..You're not gonna want to hear this-"
"Is my son dead?"
"Yes, Earth."
Earth fell to his knees, covering his face as tears flew down his cheeks rather quickly. He let out a wail, thinking of all the times his son was with him, the guilt of not taking the situation seriously. This is the consequences of his actions.
His boyfriend warned him.
Even Venus warned him.
His son warned him.
And he didn't listen.
Now he's gone.
"No..No not my baby..." Earth trembled, shaking his head. "Th-This can't b-be real.." He heaved, staring into his palms, sniffling.
"Wait then-" Saturn tapped Jupiter's shoulder, shaking in fear. Jupi' hesitantly looked over at Saturn, his chest tightening at his husbands sorrowful expression. "Wh-Where's Titan?" Saturn held his arm roughly, more tears washing his face.
"I'm sorry, Dear. I'm so sorry." Jupiter embraced Saturn in a hug, rubbing circles in his back. Saturn choked, gripping onto Zeus, weeping heavily. "It's gonna be alright," Jupiter made them 'sit', allowing Saturn to fall in his lap.
He winced at their weakened state, still, comforting him. Saturn's words were drowned out with the sobbing that escaped his dry lips. Jupiter could hear the satellites gossip among each other. It pissed him off; Sadly, he couldn't scold them due to his husbands trembling form in his hands.
"My p-poor baby..." Saturn cried, hiding his face in Jupiter's chest. His eyes were red and puffy, they even burned due to the amount of tears he cried in one sole day.
On the other hand with Earth and now Mars,
Mars was doing the exact same thing as Jupiter. He left his moons to annoy Venus for the time being so they couldn't disrupt his moment.
"They took my baby from me, Mars.." Gaia breathed out in a brittle voice, keeping Ares close to him. "Th-They took h-him away..." They let out another loud sob, gritting their teeth. "I know, I'm sorry, my love." Mars caressed Earth's cheek, staring into his glossy eyes. "M-My ba-baby..Oh.." Tierra sniffled, "It's all my fault.." They hiccuped. "No it's not..Don't say that." Ares held them closer, pecking their forehead. "Awh.."
-
Behind the Sun, Mercury was celebrating. "We did it!!" He did a victory dance.
‘Yeah!!! We made Saturn shut the fuck up!!’
"Woohoo!!" Mercy' clapped his hands together, spinning.
‘Yasss!! Earth got humbled the fuck up!!’
Mercury giggled, still dancing in glory.

"So," Mimas started with a cheeky grin. "How's it feel to be the biggest moon?" He giggled. Iapetus eyed him, Enceladus doing the same. "Do you have no sympathy?" Enceladus retort, cocking his head to the side. "Well." Mimas trailed off.
The larger moon scoffed, "I can't believe you." He scrunched up his nose in disgust. "This is why your oversized you piece of shit-" "STSAOPRPP"
Iapetus groaned in annoyance, "Don't start arguing you idiots." He announced, going between the two before they started yelling. "Ia' you're not defending this fat-"
"Enough, Enceladus."
The moon went silent, balling up his fists as he seethed. Iapetus glanced at the two moons, a sigh escaping his lips as he did so. "Ok yeah, whatever, I'm gonna go talk to Hyperion since he's the only one who understands me!" Mimas snort, drifting off.
"Yeah..Don't come back." Enceladus murmured, a nasty gaze stuck on Mimas. Once the satelite had left, Enceladus started a long rant on how he's fat and needs to kill himself.

Io opened his eyes, confused about his surroundings. It was pitch black-- Other than the fact, a few asteroids were present. He couldn't see nor feel the Sun's magnificent rays. It was just..Dark.
Creeped out, IO put his knees to his chest, furrowing their brows.
They felt a weird presence. Possibly someone..Staring at him.
IO stared into the distance, seeing a strange figure approach slowly. She tried to shuffle back, only to bump into some asteroids. In the blink of an eye, the figure was closer to him. And who else could it be? None other than fucking Mercury.
The moon gasped in horror, trying to get on his feet, just to no avail.
The fuck? Why can't he sta-
Mercury forced IO to look at him, a sinister smile on his face. The satelite whimpered as Mercury pointed a knife at him. They squeezed their eyes shut, preparing for the upcoming agony he was to experience.
Nothing.
Hesitantly, IO opened his eyelets, just to see the blade heading straight for him.
-
With a hoarse scream, IO awoke, breathing heavily. They scanned their surroundings, fearfully, just to see Ganymede beside him, sleeping soundly. IO gulped, soon wincing at the stinging sensation off his throat. They soon started to cry, covering his face as they hiccuped.
His chest hurt. Everything hurt. They wanted everything to stop; All this madness was overwhelming.
Every sob IO let out was silent. Just the sound of him sniffling and wheezing. Luckily for him, that was enough to awake the larger satelite next to him.
"Wh-Wha.." Ganymede rubbed his eyes groggily, averting his gaze to IO's trembling form. It took him a while to notice what was happening. "Eh- IO what-- What's wrong..?" They put a hand on the others shoulder in attempts to comfort him. They gasped, realizing what he just asked. "Oh..Fuck I'm sorry I-" Ganymede pinched the space between his nose, sighing.
In guilt, Gany pulled IO into a small hug, rubbing his arm soothingly. "It's alright..Alright?" They reassured, keeping their gaze at IO's tearstruck face. He bit his lip, keeping the smaller satelite close to his large frame. He and IO barely had conversations in the past. Now they won't at all. Gany felt sympathetic towards the (radioactive) moon. He cherished every moment the two had together.
Just thinking of IO put a warm smile on Ganymede's face; the thought of her beaming expression as he cracked one or two jokes. Even though the comedic comments weren't great, Gany still wished to hear them.
"Fuck.." He grumbled, shuffling in his position with IO. Their core ached with every wheeze that escaped IO's mouth. He just wanted to kiss that mou-
.
Ganymede shook his head. There was no way he was catching feelings for IO. Him of all people. Besides, he already has a girlfriend, and that'd be shady. A long sigh emits from his own mouth as IO's repeated sniffling finally came to a halt. Ganymede noticed their dull state, the way she clinged onto his own arms. Part of him wanted to hold him close and wipe his tears away. Sure, he could, but guess what? Gany' is a insecure little bitch who's determined to live up to his name.
Whatever, IO's alright now, and that's all that matters to him.
-
Deep into the far end of the solar system. Well, more exactly Uranus' orbit.
A moon, just slightly smaller than the largest, trembling while unable to sleep. Oberon. He was frightened from all of this madness. He wanted it all to stop, instantly at that.
Oberon jumped at the slightest amount of noise, whimpering at every asteroid that flew past him. There was something in the distance. That's what's preventing him from sleeping soundly like his counterparts. Horrible things could happen if he dared to rest his eyes.
They whined, hugging himself. What if he could stop all of this? Put an end to it. Maybe he wouldn't be seen so weak anymore.
However, they were fearful of losing their life. That was interrupting his thought of justice for his friends and family.
Do it for Ariel, Oberon.
Do it for the tears she cried.
Do it for her.
"I..I no no wanna..." The moon winced, rubbing his hands in fear.
Do it for the vine...
Oberon gulped, complying to what his gut was telling him. Always trust your gut, right?
He took a quick glance at his fellow satelites before rushing into the abyss, a look of determination on his face. They finally had the chance to redeem himself after all these years.
They steadily made his way over to where the figure stood, cluching his jacket sleeves frightfully.
There he stood, face to face with the demon in front of him. He was shocked to see it be Mercury of all people, but that doesn't matter. He's stopping this once and for all.
"M-Mr. Me-Mercury s-sir.." Oberon looked down nervously. "I.. I know it's y-y-you that's do-doing all this and.." He took a deep breath, gazing up at his predator. "I want you to stop!" They puffed up their chest. "You don't have to-to-to be this w-way! You.. You can.." A small smile creeped up the males face.
"You can make a change.."
..
"HE-HE-HELL NAW!!" Mercury laughed, lunging at Oberon with much force. The satelite squeaked, nearly falling back from the power. "St-Stop th-this! You don't have to -" "WOMP WOMP."
Mercury pushed Oberon down, grabbing onto his right leg, twisting it. Oberon let out a shriek of pain as the tears he held back started flowing down his face. A purple mark had already started to form where his knee area was. Good, that's to make sure he doesn't get away.
Mercury flashed a sinister smile as he raised his dagger above Oberons left eye. The satelite's pupils dilated as the blade was shown to him. Then, it was pelted into his eyeball, a sickening screech being heard as well. Oberon tried prying Mercury's arms off himself, but sadly, due to his soft personality, he wasn't strong enough to face the beast. A deep, dark red splattered onto Mercy's face while squishing noises mixed with the bubbles popping from Oberons blood. They lifted the knife again just to slay Oberons socket again, making sure any form of his eyeball was removed. He grimaced at the gooey liquid mixing with their mashed out eye. Hermes cackled with every splash of the irony substance that painted his face and hands. It brought a surge of happiness through him, his crazed gaze meeting Oberons mouth.
The repeated screaming was muffled when Mercury grabbed a hold of the moons' tongue. They sniffled, squeezing their only eye shut as Mercury started to slice his flesh. Oberon choked. Flailing their arms around in agony as the planet continued to tear off their tongue. It burned him, tears mixing with his blood and sweat. It pained him.
What would everyone think of him now? He was already feeble towards the others. They're a failure.
Once finished, Mer' pat Oberon's cheek, signaling for him to open his eye to which the satelite complied hesitantly. Mercury waved the scarred piece of flesh in front of him, bringing more tears to Oberon's eyes. He sobbed, with each tease Mercury put onto him. Then the planet waved with his hand, a goodbye as he plunged the blade into their other eye. Oberon wheezed, a gut curling scream escaping his lips as Mercury slashed his eyeball. The planet was intrigued, Oberon had different colors of blood. Wonder if they have flavou-
Mercy' shook off the thought for some other time, resuming to slaughter Oberon's eyelet. He removed the weapon from their eye, sticking his fingers in the socket, squishing the matter. Mercury made a joyous sound as Oberon gurgled, scratching the planets hands away.
"Be right back." Mercury declared, climbing off of Oberon's shaking body. He sped off someplace else, leaving the moon to himself.
Nows his chance.
Oberon used l his strength to flip himself onto his stomach, dragging his body weight in what he thought was the direction of Uranus. As much as he despised the planet, he was in need of his assistance and fast. But sadly, they were too slow, as Mercury had already arrived back holding a bottle of bleach. Oberon didn't realize this, of course.
The planetoid put his foot on Oberon's back, receiving a squeak in return. He carefully took the cap off the bleach bottle, sniffing the scented substance before grinning more widely. Mercury kicked the moon over so he was facing him, and with that, he started to pour the liquid into Oberon's sockets, all over his body. The satellite let out a horrid shout of terror and agony, rolling around in utter discomfort as the acidic water burnt his skin.
He scratched his arms, clawing at the empty eye sockets, his mouth hung open as he choked on the bleach. Mercury cackled at the moons desperate attempts to flee away, only for the bleach to follow his every move. Sadly enough, the bottle was empty and all that was heard were yelps and sobs from Oberon's burning and bloodied lips. His body tinged red, a mix of light blue and dark red painting his face. His throat was hoarse and hurting from his cries and of course, the bleach that ran down his esophagus. Soon enough, he'd die from toxins; or from blood lost. Who knows!
Mercury, pleaded with his work, dropped the empty bottle. They wiped their face off with his oversized shirt then taking it off, ripping it and throwing it somewhere. No need to get caught so early.
Mercy' casually made his way into the inner system, whistling happily. As he passed the asteroid belt, he heard distant giggling. Jackpot.
Hermes smirked, standing in place in hope for Ceres to catch him. Lucky for him, they did.
Congrats on the new shirt, Mercury.
-
"Uranus..?" A small voice called out quietly, alerting the Ice Giant. "Yes Miranda?" He'd answer, averting his gaze to the moon instead of his journal. "Uh- Uhm...Oberon's missing and um-" "WHAT."
Miranda winced, fiddling with her fingers. "He was here last..In his orbit. We don't know where he could be.." She shrugged sadly, looking away. Uranus furrowed his brows, scanning the area. "Keep lookin, you and Titania. Me and Umbriel here will watch over the smaller moons, that clear mate?" He announced, clearing his throat. Miranda nodded, straightening her stance. "Stay together." Ura' appointed, to which Mira' gave him a thumbs up, dashing off to whereas Titania stood.
The large moon was staring into space, a sorrowful expression on her features. She was fearful of what could've happened to Oberon. Although the two had nothing in common, there was one thing. Both liking each-other and just being afraid of rejection, like any other.
Titania clenched her fists together, cracking her knuckles. "Let's move." She demanded drifting off further. Miranda's eyes widened before relaxing as she followed the larger satellite. "Oberon!" Mira' hollered out, putting her hand to her mouth to increase the volume of her soft spoken voice.
"Wherrree arree youuuuu!" They continued, her voice brittle and filled with worry. "Awh," Miranda wheezed, crossing her arms as she watched the area. This was unfair. What'd Oberon even do?
"This is so not worth it.." Mira' complained, earning a glare from Titania, "Is Oberon's life not important?" They hissed, raising a brow as Miranda gasped. "No that's not what I mean! I meant it like..." She pondered, "This whole murder chase, it's so stupid; I hate it." They explained, rolling their eyes annoyed. "Like, I get if you have intrusive thoughts..I do too but..You need serious help..Mentally, then they're probably gonna say: 'Oh I don't need help and you guys all wanna gaslight and manipulate and just hurt me!' like..that's not.." Miranda ranted, swaying her hands about as she reported the inside thought. "You can be right but still," Titania took a breath "This is how things are..Strange enough and a lot of people are scared to open up and heal in the worst ways possible."
"Ever heard of the Night Crawler?" Tita' smirked. "Ugh, stop, I still get nightmares from that thing." Miranda groaned tiredly. "Nightmares? Didn't Uranus tell us that when we were like young as hell?!" Titania giggled at the smaller moon who pouted. "STOPP!" She whined.
"Wait," Titania came to a halt, Miranda complying with her, "What's that?" She quipped, her breath hitching at the large shadow. Mira' tensed up, a shiver running down her spine as she slowly approached the figure. "Mira' You shouldn't-"
"My god.." Miranda gagged, clasping her hands over her mouth as tears swelled up in her eyes. "What? What happened?" Titania came forth, her gaze lingering on the....Carcass.
Oberon's Carcass.
She gasped, dropping to her knees as she felt around for his pulse. "No..No, NO!" Titania whimpered, holding his rotting form close, ignoring the dried sticky purple-ish liquid that stuck on her clothing. "Ob- Oberon no.." She started to weep, staring into his..Well, nothing.
She felt sick to her stomach, averting her gaze to his chapped lips, then to the rest of his cold body. A loud wail escaped her mouth as she covered her face, trying to prevent Miranda from seeing her in this state. "Why...WHY.." Tita' shook aggressively, gritting her teeth as her cheeks got red. Her eyes getting puffy and started to hurt from the salty water that spewed from them. She wanted her planet.
Titania took one last glance at Oberon's rotting corpse, ashamed at the mashed out eye matter that seeped from his sockets. The small flys that crawled in and out his head. It's like she could feel the scratching and buzzing of the pests. There were fat maggots already chomping on his flesh, probably due to the colder temperatures in the outer system, his body decayed faster. It had a purplish tint to it, not to mention the fact he was slightly bloating. The satellite backed away from the bodily carcass, gagging at the horrific stench she hadn't noticed earlier due to her melancholy emotions.
"Let- Let's go.." She sniffled, wiping her eyes as she turned away from the body. Keeping her guard up as Miranda followed, disturbed. A few tears were flowing down her own face as well. Oberon was like the little brother she never asked for— Alongside the rest of Uranus' 21 moons. There was something off about Titania's reaction, she was hiding something..
Soon enough, the two satellite reached back to their planet, and as soon as that happened, Titania broke down. "Mon fillé what happened?!" Uranus questioned, scooping Titania up into his hands bringer her close to his face. "He- He's gone Uranus..He's GONE!" Tita' sobbed, letting out gut wrenching wails, although it didn't compare with Earth and Saturns from the previous day. "Ohh..You poor thing.." The planet cooed, his core breaking as he heard the news of his moons death. It haunted him, he knew it was to happen soon enough but eh just didn't know when, who or how.
Honestly, it pained him to see his most fierce moon being in a broken state like this. "Shh..It's gonna be alright, mate." He soothed, using his finger to rub Titania's back. "I..I li-Like liked him...I never got to t-tell him I'm-" "It's ok." Ura shushed her, patting her head. "Don't worry about it." They comfort, holding back his own tears.
If Titania was like this, what does this mean he'll have to do for the other 24 moons.
"Awgh.." He muttered.

Chapter 14: Mars.
Chapter Text
-------
"It's alright, Hun." Mars pushed Earth's hair out of his face, pecking a kiss on their cheek. The once egotistical and joyful planet had gone dull, since the death of his moon, his son, he'd just given up on life. Mars was trying their hardest to bring at least a small smile out of them. Playing cards..Asteroid dodgeball..Nothing seemed to work.
The blue planet whined, glancing to the side as tears swelled in his eyes. "I miss my baby." Was all he could mutter, pursing his lips. "I know, dear, I know." Ares comforted, caressing Earth's tear stained cheeks, wiping away the one that slowly strolled down. It was unusual for Earth to be this depressive; it physically hurt Mars to see them in such a state. Though, Mars wouldn't give up for Earth. He won't give up to see that once proud and boastful planet again. Hell, he'd die to see that side of the Earth.
With Ares smooching Gaia's cheek yet again, he huddled them down to sit on his lap, holding them gently. Despite being larger, Earth was somehow able to fit in Mars' hold(fatass). "Go sleep, y'need it." They spoke in a breathy voice, making Earth huff. "We're planets. We don't need sleep." The habitable planetoid shut his eyes, taking in the warmth of the Sun. "Do it, for me?" Ares pleaded as Earth sighed, shifting around in their arms.
A warm smile fell on Mars' face as Earth murmured a small "Goodnight." As he drifted off to a nap. It made Mars feel better as the planet hadn't slept in the couple days of mourning. Even if they don't physically need sleep, it's still good to rest the mind.
Even for a bit.
Maybe Mars could use a bit of sleep, too. After all, he deserved it.
He slowly shut his own eyes, keeping a good grip on his partner. They allowed their body to relax as he took in the feeling of the cold 'breeze' on his face mixed with the ever emerging sunlight their sole star had in store. Mars finally felt at peace, his mind slowly, but surely was shutting off for the 'night.'
Sadly, in those mere seconds of him trying to doze off, Venus came over to bug him out-- Again.
"Mars." The acidic planet spat in his gruff voice, venom lacing his tone. What's got him so riled up? Mars opened his eyelets, groaning. "Mmph.. Yeah?" They yawned, glimpsing Earth's resting form. He wrapped an arm around them, focusing his gaze on the taller planet before him. "So," He cleared his throat, "What is it?" They raised a brow suspiciously.
Venus scoffed, "What else could it be?" He crossed his arms. Mars thought for a moment, looking everywhere but at Venus; Shrugging, he responded, "Well..Ion' know.." Aphrodite pinched the space between his eyes, shaking his head. "Seriously? You haven't noticed anything off about him?" They used their eyes to direct Mars to look at whomever 'him' was. Ares, still confused, avert his gaze to behind Venus. His mouth form a small 'o' as he noticed. "Oh.. Yeah, why?"
Aphrodite exhaled, "Good to know I'm not absolutely losing it." They 'sat' down next to Ares. "Listen, I'm not exactly one to jump to conclusions, but -" "Sure, you aren't." Mars interrupted him, making Venus furrow his brows. "Ha ha." They grumbled, "As I was saying.. Don't you think he could well..Y'know." He mumbled. Mars sighed, "In all honesty Ve', I thought so too, but I can't see him that way." They explained, unsure.
"Also, why aren't we saying his name-" Venus chuckled, "That little piece of shit has impeccable hearing; it's just to be safe." He glared at said person, scrunching up his nose in disgust. Mars nodded, understanding. "What's makin' you think he's doin' all this?"
"Well.. I mean, look at him, dawg." And Mars did so, staring at the star and planet.
Sun looked stressed, seemingly afraid of Mercury while he stared intently at the Sun, an eerie grin on his face as he did so. Mars got uncomfortable as Mercury glanced over at him, making them look back over to Venus. "Well." Ares started, gulping; "I think they switched roles." He muttered, laughing slightly.
Venus rolled his eyes, "And you?" He quipped, resting his chin in his hands. "What?" Mars tilted his head in confusion. "What's making you think he's the screw up?" Aphrodite repeats, fixing his gaze on Mars who "Oh!"ed. "It was like a lil' before Jupiter's moon, IO got uh hurt." "When the fuck." Mars raised a brow, "Hm?" Venus grumbled, "Are you going deaf, Mars?" They nudged his side to which Mars scoffed, "Well sorry for being half awake!" Aphrodite shook their head, "When in hell did Jupiter's moon get jumped?" He spoke again. Ares trailed off, "Don't worry 'bout it.." They coughed, "As I was saying, Me, Earth and Luna saw him passing to the asteroid belt and Luna suspected it was him and then I joined it too cause..Well, He was also like..Arguing with the Sun before..? So.." They explained.
"Ain't it weird how Luna dipped like two days after IO got jumped?" Venus raised his brow, looking at at Mars sternly. The smaller planet thought for a bit, realization hitting him like bricks. He felt sick to his stomach, "Adding on to that, is that before he went missing, he went into the asteroid belt where I'm pretty sure he was in. And, When Luna got back, he seemed scared shitless so.." They murmured, shifting to a more comfortable position, being careful to not wake Earth.
Venus shook his head, "It's that mother fucker alright." They scoffed in disbelief. Mars bit his lip uncomfortably, avoiding to look at him. Mars felt disgusted, appalled at the smaller planets actions. This wasnt like him. He wouldn't do that, for sure. "Fuck, man.." Ares grumbles as his eyebrows furrow, wrinkling his tanned face.
"What're we supposed to do then?" He asked warily, his breathing was uneven as he thought of the outcomes. "Literally nothing." Aphrodite crossed his arms, looking over at Mars' uncomfortable expression. The red planet had paled in color, his breaths shaky, and Venus swore he could hear his core pound. The larger celestial who fancied in beauty put his hand on Mars' shoulder, batting his eyes at the shorter being. He moved himself closer, allowing Mars to lean his head on Venus. "Relax, dude."
Mars shook his head, putting trembling hands on his face as he panted. He felt dizzy and sick to his gut. His cheeks got flushed as tears started to swell up in his eyelets. Venus noticed what was occurring, squinting his eyes in disbelief. They blinked, rubbing Mars' shoulder comfortingly as he whispered words of affirmation. The smaller plant had showers of sweat running down their face, and his temperature rose, which was unbelievable considering he was mostly cold. Ares' quickened breathing made him stifle a small cry as he grit his teeth, wrapping an arm around his stomach, clenching it.
He was slightly annoyed. Earth was still lying in his lap, sleeping soundly while he experienced a panic attack. How unfair.
Venus sighed as he stared into the distance, embracing Mars' heated atmosphere. Maybe he should back away- His own surface is scorching hot anyway. Albeit, if he were to move, Mars' panicked state could worsen, and he was trying to bring him from that. "Take your time." Aphrodite muttered, closing his eyes, feeling Ares' trembling body on his own. Thankfully, it didn't last too long as his breathing became shallow. Mars' sniffling came softly. He lowered his hand from his face, allowing it to join his other hand wrapped across his abdomen.
His features were stained with tear streaks of his own. All these pent-up emotions he hid just to care for Earth.
Earth..
Mars directed his eyes to look down at Earth. He cracked a small smile at how comfortable they looked. Maybe he could finally get his rest. The one he's been craving for days on days on end.
And so, Ares shut his eyelets, taking in the darkness as it consumed him whole.
Just as he felt himself slip into unconsciousness, Mercury's sinister stare flashed in his mind, forcing them to jolt awake. His eyes widened as he was stuck in the same position, frozen in terror.
Groaning, Mars leaned off of Venus, sitting up straight. "There goes my sleep schedule.." They mumbled. The larger planetoid raised a brow. "What're you on about-" They quipped in their usual gruff voice. "Eh.. Nothing, man." Mars shook his head, glancing down at Earth.
——
Mars was alone in his orbit-- Well, Phobos and Deimos were there, but who cares. Earth had recently woken up and decided he had to interact with someone else other than Mars. Which Mars himself was overjoyed with; he could finally get some time to himself. All the drowsiness he carried was finally catching up to him as he yawned, rubbing his eyes. He needed to sleep but also needed to watch Phobos and Deimos. Sleep yearned for him, just as he yearned for it, too.
With heavy eyelids, he shut his eyes yet again just to groggily open them back. Mars could hardly see with how low his lids were. He grunted, slapping himself. Why does he even feel tired? Planets don't need sleep..Atleast that's what he thinks. Is he even thinking? Maybe the lean is finally getting to him.
Phobos flew in front of his face, a worrisome expression present. "Mars, you should sleep.." He murmured. Ares stared at him . Well, one eye was looking the other way since he's very much tired, he got lazy eye. Mars nodded, closing his eyelets and reopening them. "I'm.. I'm gonna...Uhmm.." They yawned, "I'll be ffff.." Phobos cringed at his planets attempts to make coherent sentences while being practically half awake. "Go to sleep." They demanded in a squeaky voice. "Noo.. I'm gonna...Uh.. Like.."
"Mom, do you even know what I'm saying-" Mars peered somewhere else. "Uh-huh...Maybe.." He mumbled. "Yeah, you don't. Have a good night's rest, Ma'." The moon drifted off to where Deimos was, crossing his arms. Ares rolled his eyes, putting a hand on his cheek. They sighed, tilting their head to the side. He glimpsed the asteroid belt, seeing something in it but shaking it off quickly.
He's not even thinking straight.
Gay a
"Don't you miss Luna, Mars?" A eery voice called out drawing Ares' attention towards it. "Uhmm.. Yeah." They murmured sleepily. The person chuckled, backing deeper into the belt. "C'mon, Martian. He's in here Y'know..Waiting on you." The Voice persuaded, venom lacing his tone. Mars raised a brow. "Reaally..?" They swooned, yawning yet again. The figure disappeared into the depths of the asteroid belt, leaving Mars curious. "Mystery person wwaaaitt...!" They babbled, rubbing his eyes as he slouched over, slowly making his way into the bombardment of asteroids.
The two satelites watched their planet leave them, confusion taking over their emotions. Where was he going-?
In the asteroid belt, Mars lazily looked around for whomever the person could be. "Uhmmm... Luna?" They quiered in search of.. What is he even looking for?
Mars scratched the back of his neck; something was telling him it was unsafe, but he was too out of it to notice. "Mars.. Don't you wanna see Luna..?" The voice taunted, making Mars grit his teeth as he rubbed his temples. "I... Do..." They motivated themselves, pushing forward to the task he had. "You won't see him with that attitude."
Ares groaned, "I.. I wanna see Lu.. Luna.." They exclaimed, determination lacing his tone. Suddenly, he tripped over something, which, of course, brought him to his senses. "Awh- The fuck-" Mars sat up, soothing his head. He slowly took in his surroundings, eyebags present under his face. "How in hell..." They breathed out, perplexed.
"Take your time, Martian." The eery voice sent Mars into panic. It was none other than who he dreaded the most. The idiot who brought tears to the innocent. Killed the innocent. Tortured those who disagreed with him. Maybe he could be considered the devil himself.
"No..." Mars' breath hitched as he slowly looked up at Mercury, his eyes widening at the psychotic glare the planet gave him. Shivers ran down his spine as he paled. Tears swelled in his eyes. He knew what was about to happen. His life was to be taken away from him in a matter of seconds.
Mercury loomed over him, a sharpened axe in his hands. He put a finger to his chin, watching as Mars flinched in fright. "I ain't even hit you yet!" They giggled at the planets tearstruck face. He waved his hand at Mars, laughing at how he backed away, whimpering. "Hah..You thought I was gon' hit you?" Mercury taunted, making Ares cry more. "I aint gon' hit you get yo' dumbass up." Mercy' sighed, putting a hand on his hip. Mars hesitantly nodded, slowly creeping away from Mercury.
"Seriously, Mars." The planet scoffed. "You just proved my point that you guys don't like me." He pinched the space between his eyes, lunging at Mars with his weapon. Martian yelped at Mercury's weight on his stomach, shivering. He shut his eyes as Hermes traced his stomach area. Small whines escaped his lips as he prepared for the pain.
What he didn't expect was the sharp pain erupting from his left arm. His eyes jolted open as a shriek left his dry mouth, agonizing sobs echoing throughout the asteroid belt as he felt his arm get amputated. He kicked around, reaching out. The torment he felt made him sick. They could hear Mercury take the axe out of the freshly formed wound, wailing as he gripped onto their arm.
Mars screeched as Mercury tore his arm off, a loud tearing sound being made, a light blue blood spurting out his mouth. His vision was clouded with tears, feeling the blood roll down his chin. He gurgled, the control over his left arm soon disappearing as only the bone was present. He choked out a cough, trying to pull himself away from Mercury since they were focused on his salvaged arm.
Ares weakly drifted away from Hermes, holding back the vomit of blood from spilling out. Unfortunately for him, he hit an asteroid, which made him gasp, catching Mercury's attention. Panicking, Mars crawled away from the assassin, whimpering hysterically. Due to Mercy's speed, he floated over to Mars, trailing his axe behind him. As the smaller planet approached Mars' trembling body, their sobs increased, echoing throughout the asteroid belt. "Awhh.. Why're you crying, Martian.." Mercury teased, smiling widely. Mars only bawled, clinging onto his shoulder, feeling around where his arm once was and wincing at the stinging sensation.
"Not gonna answer?" Hermes tilted his head to the side, putting his foot on Ares' stomach, pressing down into it. They gagged, clenching their jaw in pain. "L+Ratio+Can't Relate+No Arm?+Skill Issue+Plot weakness!" Mercury lifted the axe above his head, stepping off of Mars' abdomen. "This might hurt." He pointed out, applying much force as he slaughtered their stomach, satisfied at Mars' screams. He exterminated him, anew, blue gooey blood splattering onto his face as he did so. Mercury cackled, ripping apart Mars' foreskin, jamming the blade into his guts.
Ares gurgled, warm blood flowing out of his mouth uncontrollably. Mercury removed the axe from his victim's body, throwing it to the side. They bent down, trailing his finger around his open carnage. Then, he shoved his hand in, grabbing whatever he could get a grip on and tearing it out of its socket. Mars let out a loud, gut-wrenching wail, seething at the ever recurring anguish. Mercury tore out Intestines, grimacing at the squishy organ that moved in his hand. It fascinated him how the Intestines would wiggle around, its like they were alive.
He set it down, allowing it to just..be there. Mercy' then resumed his task, grabbing another fragment from Mars' grotesque stomach. By now, the life had started to slip from him as Mercury could see his lungs slow and his core weakend. It made Mercury overjoyed. He just wanted to finish the job so he could do what he yearned for. And so, the celestial continued ripping out Mars' insides, squishing and playing around with his organs, a wet squelching sound being made each time.
Once It was mostly bones seen within the red planets carcass, ocean blue blood spraying onto Mercury's face from reflex. The planet happily held Mars' lung, enjoying the soft texture of the meat. And with his sharp jaws, he took a bite into the organ. He sunk his teeth into the bloody flesh, satisfied with the taste of iron. Azure blood pooled out the lung and Mercury's mouth, the planet sucking onto the raw flesh. It was tasteful to him, of course. Sweet, and mixed with bitterness.
Hermes continued to gnaw out on the sacred sapphire meat, tears of joy pricking his eyelets. It made him happy to have such a meal.. A meal others wouldn't get. He was special for this. So it's best he treasured every moment of this. Mercy' put the half eaten lung down, picking up the liver. He knew he wasn't supposed to eat it since well.. The liver produces vitamin A, and too much of that is poisonous. So, the planet kicked the liver clean, embracing the sour taste of Mars' blood. His mouth, hands... His whole body really was just painted with the larger celestials goopy juice.
It riled him up. The sensation he felt on his tongue made him delighted. He dropped the liver, reaching towards their lung again, taking another bite out of the savory carnage.
Mercury sat.
Feasting on Mars' insides.
Cruel.
Disgusting.
He will pay for his sins.

----
"Cut it out, Venus-" Earth grimaced, dodging the asteroid that was thrown at him. He and Venus were playing a good game of asteroid dodgeball in order to cheer up Earths spirits. "Hell naw," Venus snickered, throwing more asteroids at the planet before him. "I'm takin your WWE belt from you." They retort, smirking.
Earth rolled his eyes, "Oh puh-lease, Me and Mars play this game all the time, and I'm always the winner!" He'd boast, throwing the asteroid back at Venus who yelped, just barely missing it. "Yeah, whatever, Im not Mars, though, so ya' never know!" The acidic planet spat at Earth whose smile soon disappeared, "Where is Mars.." He murmured, hands falling to his side as he thought. "After you woke up, he just went to his orbit; He looked pretty tired." Earth glanced back at Venus before nodding, agreeing to play more. Although he said this, Earth continued searching for Mars, his thoughts constantly wandering back to his partners whereabouts.
Venus was quick to notice this. "Are you paying attention to this game at all?" He asked, putting a hand on his hip. "Y-yeah, it's just... I can't help but want to help Mars," he replied, staring out into space. Venus was visibly worried by Earth's reaction; knowing how close the two were, he had to wonder why it seemed like Earth was suddenly so worried about him. But then again, Tierra had already lost one close person towards him. He obviously doesn't wanna lose someone else.
"I get that you both are close, but I'm sure that Mars is fine," Venus reassured the planet. "He's strong, and he can handle himself." They cracked a smile, watching as Earths expression brightened by a bit. "Hah.." The habitable planet sighed, "Sure."
Aphrodite knew Gaia better than this. "Do you wanna look for him?" He suggested, moving closer to the other. Gaia nodded profusely, determination painting his face. "Yeah."
Venus smiled slightly, taking Earth's hand in his. They guided the celestial body towards Mars' orbit, not thinking much of it. Mars' orbit wasn't too far away from Earth's, so the journey shouldn't take too long.
However, to Earth, it took billions of centuries with his determination to see Mars. Something was telling him not to go for his own good. It bothered him greatly, and Venus noticed that.
"You good?" Aphrodite breathed out, catching Tierra's attention. The slightly taller planet nodded, furrowing their eyebrows. "So, Ve'.." They'd start, clearing his throat. Aphrodite hums, signaling he was listening. "What were you and Mars talking about when I was asleep..?" Earth muttered, eyeing Venus, who grunts. "It was about..That Planet.." They trail off, looking the other way. "Which is..?" Tierra cocked their head to the side in curiosity. "Can't say his name, but, I kinda.. Pissed him off before."
Earth's eyebrows furrowed as he thought. 'Pissed him off--?' They gulped, looking down. Then it hit him. "Oh," He started, glancing back up at Venus. "Mer-" Then Venus covered his mouth, making Earth squeak. "I already told you I can't say his name, idiot.." The hot-headed celestial scolded, removing his hand from Earth's double colored lips. Gaia, stunned from the rapid action, slowly nodded, hugging himself. "Okay.." They murmured silently. A sentence crept up his throat, but he held it back. Mercury was recently acting weird, so whatever it was about, it wasn't good.
Venus was visibly glad Earth dismissed the conversation. He didn't know how to tell him that Mercury had supposedly murdered their son.
Furthermore, they had already reached Mars' orbit, where they couldn't find him. "What.." Earth whispered out, worry tinging his tone of speech. "Somethings wrong." They continued, his breathing getting shallow. "It's around 8 for Mars; he should be right here." Gaia shook their head, perplexed. Venus, on the other hand, just knew what happened. His throat went dry as he gazed down, gulping. "Earth.."Where's his kids- OUR kids? Where's Phobos and Deimos?" The egocentric planet huffed as he looked around, stressed. He darted his eyes about in search of the tiny pebbles.
"Phobos? Deimos?!"We're right..Here?" Phobos raised his brow. "Oh! You're small.. Right." Earth enunciated, squinting his eyes at the two asteroids- In his point of view. (IM CACKLING) "Gee, we didn't know." Deimos scoffed, crossing his arms. "Hmph, where's your mother?" Earth quipped.
Yes, mother.
Both him and Mars are male, but their moons call them 'mom' cause well.. They act like one, so they've adapted to being called a feminine noun.
"Mars..? We don't really know.." Phobos scratched the back of his head. "He was really sleepy, but then he started talking to himself and went into the asteroid belt." Deimos continued for his sibling, shrugging slightly as he did so. Earth's worry increased as he stopped squinting his eyelets, a sick feeling emerging in his stomach.
"Venus, let's go." Earth demanded, clenching his fists. "What?" Venus' eyes widened as he stared at Earth, astonished. "I said let's go." He repeats, gripping onto the acidic planets arm harshly, dragging him towards the asteroid belt. "Wh- What about your Earthlings?!" Venus protests, snatching his arm from Earth's grip. "I don't care about them, alright!?" Gaia shouted, throwing his hands up angrily. "I don't care about my stupid Earthlings, okay?!" They sniffled. "Nothing is stopping me from finding Mars.. I- I'm not gonna lose someone else, Venus.." Tears started to prick his eyes as he stormed off, leaving Aphrodite behind.
Phobos and Deimos shared a look of concern as they floated up to Venus' face. "What's goin' on?" Deimos quipped, leaning his head on his shoulder. "Uhm.. Don't worry 'bout it.. You two just.." Venus trailed off, scanning the area for an excuse. "Play mini asteroid dodgeball..?"
Phobos and Deimos stared at him before Phobos muttered out. "We're literally the smallest moons. I don't think there's an asteroid smaller than us." The satellite rubbed his elbow awkwardly.
"Heaven help me."
-
Meanwhile, with Earth, he was scavenging throughout the asteroid belt, searching for his boyfriend. Normally, he'd have Luna do that for him. Doing things for him. How selfish he was back then. Maybe that's why this was happening to him. Karma, possibly.
Earth pushed down the thought, resuming to the task he had. They pushed past asteroids, kicking tiny ones that blocked his pathway. The habitable planet could sense the panic of his Earthlings-- Why was it so cold? Why're they in the asteroid belt-
"Hm?" Earth piped up, feeling as if he touched something below him. He looked down, horrified at the sight before him.
Ceres.
His body looked mauled and mutilated, bite marks trailing down his forearm and legs. His neck was twisted, a smile being cut into his cheeks, dried blood, and snot staining his mouth alongside vomit. Oh, and also to mention he was shirtless; there were cuts all over his stomach, and holes were maggots dug in through. Ants of all kinds were peeling his skin off. They were bloated, his carcass a deep purple and blue. Ceres' chest was opened up, his deceased form being overtaken with flies, maggots, beetles, and other forms of death mites as if it were a bowl of rice. His tangled hair was fanning out around him with cockroaches nesting in it along fly eggs. His pale plastic skin was painted with dried dark crimson blood. His pelvis struck out. There was a horrific smell, too.
Earth squealed, covering his nose as he steered away from the rotting cadaver. Ceres' body had taken the smell of an expired Sunday dinner, making Earth choke. He muttered a few curses, hopping over Ceres' lifeless form as he sprinted off. "Ew, ew, ew, ew!" They gagged, rubbing their eyes. Earth groaned, clenching his stomach as he bit on his nails, their eyes widened.
If Ceres was here, where was Mars?
"No, no, no, no..!" Gaia exclaimed while shaking his head. They slapped themselves, dragging their bottom eyelids down in frustration. "Mars, no!" They exclaimed, rushing through the asteroid belt in worry. Earth tossed away asteroids, kicking them with much force. He darted his eyes around the mass of rocks in hopes of finding where Mars resided. "Mars! MARS?!" He cried out, tears starting to prick his eyes anew, his voice quaking. "MARS, WHERE ARE YOU?!"
Earth grits his teeth, wrapping his arms around himself. "MARS!" He frantically hollered out, hot salty tears creeping down his face like an ant. The water crowded his vision like clouds, and he grumbled, squinting his eyes shut. "MAAARSS!!" He choked out, covering his face. His throat felt sore as he coughed out. "M-my god, where are yo-ouu.." They spoke hoarsely, looking around. Then, his nose started to pick up another scent- A foul one.
"Oh my god." Earth's breath hitched as his eyes widened. "N-No- NO, MARS!" Their lips quivered as Earth ran, following the distasteful smell. Millions of thoughts ran throughout Earth's head- He could sense his Earthlings, panicking and natural disasters forming on his surface due to his frantic behavior. It didn't matter to him anymore, all what mattered was him finding Mars. Dead or alive.
The stench became stronger with each inch Tierra came forth, making his fountain of tears sprout faster, sobs starting to escape his lips. Then, he saw a pool of a deep ocean blue, making his shriek as he threw himself over to the puddle.
Mars.
His Mars.
The love of his life.
Mars' arm was torn off, maggots swarming the inside of his flesh like a bee's hive. Flies buzzed about, pitching onto the deceased. There was a ginormous gash from his chest to his lower abdomen, his organs gone. Earth could see his charred, black core. No light shone from it. Just darkness. Alongside his empty carcass were millions of ants, maggots, beetles, cockroaches, and other insects of all sorts. Cockroaches helping one another carry pieces of Mars' flesh someplace else while others ate him. Whoever did this really did a number on him. It was easier for the death bugs to devour his cadaver. Mars' eyes were still open, tear streams running down his cheeks, dried up blood splattering his chin. His ribs were broken. More bite marks trail around their body.
Earth nearly fainted as he dropped to his knees, staggering. He was at a loss for words. He felt sick.
He was sick.
"M..Mar.." Earth hiccuped, taking a hold of Mars' cold only hand. "Mars..." They wailed, hot tears falling down their face. Earth sniffled, struggling to pick himself up. He couldn't stay here, not anymore. "Mars.. I miss.." They choked out, fanning away the horrid smell from their nose. "I misss yo- youuu..." They bawled, covering their face with his hands much like a baby. "Why.. Why is this happening agaaiin..." Earth wept, coughing hysterically.
He missed Mars already.
Just as much as he misses Theia.
Tierra groaned, slowly moving away from Ares' dead body. They hugged their stomach, mouth gaping open with drool dripping from it. He gagged, feeling vomit course up his throat. Earth covered his mouth, drifting off slowly. The tears that escaped his eyelids burned, his face red and puffy as he tried to pursue the snot running from his nose.
And then,
He puked.
Earty bent over, releasing all he had in store. The image of Mars and Ceres' dead body had disgusted him enough to retching. The toxic smell from his spew made his scrunch up his nose, more sticky liquid pouring out his mouth.
By the time he was finished, Earth felt numb. He wiped his mouth off with his-- No, Mars' jacket sleeve. The same one he begged Mars himself for. Just the thought of his beloved brought more tears to his burning eyelets. Earth babbled, rubbing his elbows to keep himself warm.
What a foolish idea it was for him to venture into the asteroid belt in search of his already presumed dead partner. He was stupid. Arrogant. Stubborn. Etcetera. Earth deserved this. He needed a reality check.
As Earth made his way out of the depths of the asteroid belt, he shivered, breathing out a cold steam. "Maaarrss..." They bawled, shutting their eyes. "I miss you, Marrss..." He trailed off, hoping someone would hear him. "I'm cold, Mars.." They sniffled, struggling to keep up with his own feet as he stumbled out the belt. "Wah..." Earth could feel his strength give out as he toppled over into something.
Someone.
Venus.
Venus held Earth, Phobos, and Deimos, watching with concern. Venus cursed under his breath, bringing Earth closer to him, allowing the planet to embrace his heat. "Earth..?" They muttered, tilting up Earth's chin so he could look at him. "Veenuuss.." Gaia cried, burying his face into Aphrodite's chest.
"I'm cold."
"I know."
"Mars is.."
"I know."
Earth allowed himself to go weak in front of Venus, sobbing into the hot-heads chest. He wailed, hugging Venus. The two moons who stood by didn't exactly understand but still tried to comfort Earth. They wonder when Mars will be back to do so.
Venus wasn't the best as consoling people, much less himself. Curse him for driving Mercury off the edge.
"Heaven help me." He mumbled, sighing.

'Lil' boy, what is you doin'
"Plotting."
'What for'
Mercury flashed a smile, looking up from his hands. "You see Earth, right?" He cocked his head to the side, putting his hands on his hips.
'Yah
What about the twink'
"Wha-?" Mercury shook his head, grumbling. "Whatever.. Anyway, I'm gonna give him a big surprise!" They chirped, putting his hands together.
Big like Drake'
'
"Yeah! Big lik- Wh- WHAT!!" Mercury gasped, catching the attention of the Sun who glanced at him weirdly. "Are..Is everything ok Merc'?" The star asked quietly, to which Mercury nodded, baring his teeth. "Oh.. Okay.." Sun turned the other way, continuing to daydream.
"What the fuck is up with you?!" Mercury whisper-shouted at The Voice who snickered.
'We have the same humor calm down'
"Tch- Don't care!" Mercy' pinched the space between his eyes, sighing. "As I was saying, a big surprise." They repeat, crossing their arms.
'Wow, enlighten me.'
"Nope!" Mercury giggled, "It's called a surprise!" They put a finger on their lips, a grin plastered on his face.
'Wowww.'
The planet watched Earth and Venus intently, waiting to surprise the golden boy at any second, minute, or hour. It thrilled him to see their reactions. The hour of joy they'd experience.
He just had to wait for the right moment.
All it takes is patience, the smarts, and the bravery he held.
'Your ego is big
Big like Dra-'
"STOP IT."
The two planets heard Mercury shout, averting their gaze to the small planet ahead of them.
Venus and Earth stared at him before looking back at each other. "You see what I mean?" Venus scoffed, pointing at Mercury. "He's been talking to himself for seconds! I'm starting to think he's lost it." They explained. Earth shrugged. "I know.." He mumbled, rubbing his elbow. "Mars told me." Tears pricked his eyes, "A-And I never listened to him.." He choked back a sob, wiping his eyes. "It's all my faul-"
"Hey, don't say that.." Venus came closer to him, putting his hands on Earth's shoulder. "It's not your fault, plus, we still don't know who the killer is.. So, we can't just jump to conclusions." Aphrodite cupped Gaia's cheeks, steering away his tears. "But-" Venus shushed him. "Don't worry about it." They removed their hands from Earth's face, dropping them to his side. "Time will tell.. Hopefully." Venus muttered the last bit to himself, crossing his arms.
"What'd you say..?" Earth queried, making Venus squeak. "Nothin'.." He waved Earth off, watching as the planet glared at him suspiciously. "How do I know you aren't the murderer?" Earth raised a brow, swaying his hip the side as he placed his hand on it. "Dumbass, how would I be the murderer if I was here with you when Mars died.." Venus deadpanned, trailing off at the end of his statement. Earth fell silent, looking down. "You're right, I'm an idiot.." The habitable planet murmured.
Venus winced. "My bad," He started. "I know that's still a sore spot for you.." They admit, guilt taking over his feelings. He hated feeling sympathy. It made him look weak; Something he wasn't.
"It's.. alright." Gaia swallowed the lump in his throat, turning away from Aphrodite.
"Woohh.. That was depressing."
The two planets perked their heads up at the Voice, turning in the direction of came from.
"What."
Mercury stood before the duo, clapping his hands slowly while a smile was pasted on his face. Earth and Venus shared a look of misanthrope, inching closer to one another. "What do you want..?" Venus grumbled, crossing his arms. Mercury seethed, keeping the warm grin. He breathed through his teeth, replying to Venus in an atraxic manner. "Why so serious?.. I just wanted to talk." They cooed, putting a finger on his lips. "Well, we don't want to talk to you." Venus scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Earth never said that." Mercury glared at Venus, who returned the gesticulate. "Now, Earth, I know things have been quite hard for you these past days." Mercy' started, floating closer to Earth. Earth's breath hitched as he took a step back. "I wanted to cheer you up!" Mercury flashed a real smile, putting on his baby doll face. Just enough to gain Earth's trust.
Earth put his hands up in defense, glimpsing Venus, who stared at him-- Seeming to tell him no. But as he took a glance back at Mercury, the expression they had reminded him of Luna. Luna when he'd beg to go see Titan.
Gaia whimpered, almost tearstruck at the memory of his moon. "Luna..." They whispered, gulping. Mercury cocked his head to the side. "Pardon?" "You remind me of Luna.." The larger planet sniffled, wiping his eyelets. "What do you want to do, Mercury?" Earth cracked a small smile at Mercury whom beamed up in joy. "Earth, are you seriou-"
"That's wonderful Earth!" Hermes clapped, taking a hold of Gaia's hands and dragging him towards a different part in his orbit much to his surprise. "Earth!" Venus shouts, reaching for them.
"Anyways, I was thinking we could play a game of.. asteroid dodgeball?" Mercury suggested, making Earth raise a brow. "Asteroid dodgeball..? You liked that game?" He quipped, retracting his arm from Mercury's grasp. "Duh! Venus just wouldn't let me come over and play it with you guys.." The smaller Rocky planet admits, trailing off. "Don't worry 'bout that, tho!! Let's just play the damn game."
Earth chuckles. "You're eager." He points out, smirking. "Of course, this is literally my first time." Mercury grits his teeth, his eye twitching. "Alright then," Earth starts, pull an asteroid out of absolutely nowhere. "Heads up!" Then, be throws it at Mercury whom flinches, dodging the boulder by a hair. "Hah.. Very funny." Mercy' pinched the space between his nose before grabbing said asteroid and flinging it back at Earth.
Earth yelped, moving out the way before it hit him. "Shit, you're good at this for a beginner-" Then another asteroid was pelted at him. He missed that one too, returning it back to Mercury, who grimaced, parrying the attack.
Venus watched from the sidelines, worry over-taking his emotions. Something was going to happen. Something terrible.
Earth and Mercury's asteroid brawl was more violent than usual. Mercury throwing the asteroids as a rushed speed while Earth struggled to dodge them. "W-Wait Merc- AH-" Gaia barely missed a rock, shrieking as it flew past his arm. "Mercury, you're throwing too fast!" He acknowledged, moving out the way. Hermes didn't respond. He just kept a large smile while bolting the asteroids at Tierra. Aphrodite wanted to say something-- Anything. He wanted to put a stop to this. He can't, though. He froze.
Earth tried boomerang the boulders back at Mercury, failing as they just flew past him at a speedy rate. He whimpered, covering his eyes from the rocks. Maybe if he didn't see them, they wouldn't wanna target him.
Loud incorrect buzzer!
Earth didn't feel any asteroids, nor did he sense them past. So he assumed his idea worked! They removed a hand from their left eye, soon regretting it as an astronomically large asteroid pelted his surface, his lithosphere cracking on impact. Almost immediately, fire started to burn on his surface, his face blinded by the heat.
Earth let out a scream, gaining the attention of half of the celestials in the solar system. He could feel the wildfire spread throughout his lands and oceans. Earthquakes and landslides take place as Earth grasps his head in agony, bending over in pain. He heard the Earthlings cries of death. He felt the panic they had. It made him dizzy.
Then it hit him.
"My- MY LIFE! MY LIFE, NO!" Earth wailed, coughing up smoke. Mercury dropped the asteroid he held, his mouth agape in awe. He did it. He actually did it. He did what nobody would've dared doing. He's superior.
He was snapped from his thoughts as Earth's weeps continued. "W-WHY IS THIS H-HAPPENING AGAIN?!..NO!" They hollered, falling over and arching, his arms covering his burning head. Blood seeped onto his fingers, dripping onto his- Mars' jacket sleeve. He had his right eye shut, the left one disintegrating from the hellfire that erupted on his surface due to Mercury's attack. He could feel his surface turn char, lava and magma forming instead of his beautiful oceans— His green mountains replaced with a dark, black stone, his trees afire. The humans.. The humans were dying, and at a quick rate. He knew they were huddled with their families, sobbing as they awaited the end— There was no use in attempting to escape this plague.
Venus was snapped out of his shock, rushing to Earth's aid, pulling them close. "F-Fuck- FUCK, YOU IDIOT-" Venus cursed Mercury, cradling the shaking Earth. "I-It was an accident!" Mercury put on a worrisome act, furrowing his brows in 'concern'. Venus glared at him, averting his gaze to Earth, his weeping state. Venus seethed, there wasn't anything he could do about this. Earth's life was dying.
"I-IT BURNS- L-LET ME GO-O!" Gaia shrieked, retracting himself from Aphrodites hold. Aphrodite let him free, watching as Gaia covered his burning face, smoke filling his orbit. He screamed in anger-? Sadness? Whatever it was, it was core-chilling. Venus stared in discomfort as Earth was slapping himself, trying to put out the fire that burnt his atmosphere. He watched the blood flash around as Earth flailed around, thrashing in his own grip. It was sickening to see a planet fight himself in such a manner.
The other planets also stared at Earth, uncomfortable, sorrowful, etcetera.
"GET IT OFF- G-GET IT OFF!! AGH-" Earths wails were loud, strained. It probably stretched throughout the entire Solar system. He cried his voice out, drool spilling down his duo colored lips. They were no longer double colored. Just black.
"Earth-" Venus started, glancing elsewhere before clearing his throat and putting a comforting gaze on Earth. "I'm here for you when you're ready." He spoke rather softly in his rough voice. Earth tried responding, though all came out was his frustrated screaming and sobs. "But, I need to help you-" "NO!"
Venus furrowed his brows. "Listen to me, Earth." They grit their teeth, watching as Earth breathed heavily, shaking as he held the left side of his face, his other arm clinging onto his forearm. Earth heaved, moaning in ache, growling. "I know this is hard for you, really, there is no hurry-" Earth's right eye twitched as they groaned loudly. "NO YOU DON'T! Y-YOU DON'T, YOU DON'T!" They shook their head, pursing his lips. "I do." Venus came closer to Earth, "You helped me when I lost my life," They opened their arms as he cursed under his breath. "So I'm doing the same for you." Aphrodite breathed out, watching as Earth stifled his own breath.
Then, Tierra rushed into Aphrodite's embrace, trembling as he let out more agonized screams. He held on tightly to Venus' shirt, blubbering his core out. Everything burned. His once dazzling face, his entire body was heated. Smoke crowded Venus' vision, he coughed out, blowing the smoke out of his face as he let his pupils trail to Mercury who stood there. "Leave." They spoke coldly to which Mercury flinched. "W-Wha-" "Go to your orbit, and don't fucking come back." Venus hissed making Mercury go stiff. The smaller planet glared at Venus before huffing and returning to his orbit, holding in his cackle.
Back with Earth and Venus; Venus was rubbing Earth's back, wary of how sensitive he was. Earth's horrific shouts of affliction, his twitching. Some might think he was being over dramatic, but if you were burning, losing your life and partially dying, how'd you feel? And no, Earth couldn't fucking dodge. When you're scared, your brain goes in a state of panic where you freeze automatically. It's a form of reaction. Everyone does it.
Everyone.
Hell, even Venus would do it.
It doesn't matter anymore. Earth was in anguish, and Venus had him in his comfort. Despite Venus' incapablity to soothe people, he was determined to help Earth now that their mindset wasn't fear and he could actually comprehend Venus was trying to assist him. Just this once he'll do that for Earth. And in this once, there shall be more to come.
Earth's screaming had died down recently. He just had quivering charred lips with his face stained with ashes and burn marks. A red irony substance still seeped from his missing eyeball. He covered it with his hand, small sniffles escaping his mouth. He blubbered, not breaking his hug with Venus. Then, he started to cry violently again, muffins his sobs with his darkly toned hand. "Mmy- My li-liffee..." They hiccuped, choking out a wail. "It's gon- It's gone.. All my h- hard wor- work.." Earth trembled, hoarslg weeping, his cheeks burned a dark black, Grey teats making their way down his burn stained cheeks.
Earth's right eye got heavy, as he slowly met Venus' serious demanor. "My eye stings.." He commented, trying to feel where his eye could be. "Veenus.. I c- can't feel my e-eye.." Venus perked up at that, looking down at Earth's tired body. His mouth nearly dropped from the sight. "Holy fuck, Earth.." Aphrodite gulped, steering his view to something else. "Wh-Wha..?" Gaia kept searching for his eye. "Where's my eye, Venu-" Then it hit him.
A/N: Literally
Earth covered his face with both hands, starting to bawl hysterically once more. "WH-WHHYY.." Earth shouted, tigthening his grip on Venus. "IT BURNS.." They coughed, Venus rubbing his stern more. Earths wails and begs roared through the thick atmosphere, silencing anyone nearby. All that was heard was Earth's loud weeping.
This was gonna be a while.

Chapter 17: Putting Puzzle Pieces Together.
Chapter Text
----------
It was quiet in the solar system. Something it hardly was. Usually, there'd be chatter amongst the two gas giants. Neptune would annoy Uranus with his curiosity. Earth, Venus, and Mars would be playing a game of cards. The moons are doing their own thing while Mercury would gossip with the Sun.
No,
Not anymore.
It was dead silent.
Not a soul had their mouth open.
It was quiet.
Earth sat alone in his orbit, staring at his dark hands; streams of magma filling it. His lips were dry, obviously, smoke escaping his mouth with every breath he took. His body ached; It pained him to even blink. Earth closed his eye, allowing a stream of pitch black tears to roll down his cheeks.
Gaia huffed out a black mist, slowly wiping his tears, wincing as they did so. His voice was sore from all the screaming and crying they did this past day. Earth looked up at the stars, pondering on the previous events that occurred. "Mmph.." They mumbled, 'laying' on their side. "Maarrsss..." He trailed off, hugging himself. "What do I do, Marss.." They murmured, more wet tears swelled up in his singular eye. He put a hand over the bandage, which covered his burning scars and well--eyee socket. "I miss my baby.." Earth sniffled, his mindset roaming onto Luna. "Lunaa.." More soft sobs escaped his chapped lips as he thought of his decedent son. "You didn't.. " Theh hiccuped, sniffling. "You didn't deserve this.. My baby.." He choked, a lump present in his throat.
Earth could sense someone approach him, that person being none other than Venus, of course. Venus scoffed at how Earth dawdled, kneeling down to them. "Earth," He started in a breathy voice. "Can we talk?" They quipped to which Earth let out a shaky exhale, putting his hand over his lips. "Earth.." Aphrodite put a hand on the bandaged area of Gaia's head. Gaia whimpered, shifting his position.
"It's about him." Venus admits, caressing Earth's cheek. Earth hums, trailing his fingers to Venus' hand. "It's something I've wanted to tell you for a while, but.." Venus hisses, rolling his eyeballs. "I didn't want you to react badly and cause havoc.. Especially in the state you're in.." They explained, coughing. Earth raises his brow slightly, glancing over at Venus. "I.. I know who the murderer is." Gaia sat up immediately, wincing at the overwhelming stinging sensation before looking at Aphrodite with a wide eye. "..Who?" He muttered as Venus gulps.
"Mercury.."
Earth gasps, looking away and at the 'floor'. "Listen, before you think I'm crazy and he wouldn't do that, hear me out!" Venus scooted closer to Earth, wrapping his arm around him, wary to not aggravate his scarred form. He took a deep breath before he continued. "When be went missing, the deaths were happening, plus, when Saturn found him he was supposedly in the asteroid belt-- But if he was, wouldn't Mars or Jupiter find him instead?" Venus advocated, watching as Earth's expression metamorphosed into one of a baffled person. "That's not it either; didn't Mercury go into the asteroid belt at the same time Luna went in? And then the day after, Luna and Titan die." He continues. Earth's throat ran dry at the mention of Luna.
But it was true.
How could Mercury not be the assassin after all these obvious clues?
"Luna.." Earth whispered, gulping as he motioned for Venus to resume his statement. "And Mars, He said you and him were talking about Mercury before, and you were teasing him about being afraid; It makes sense why that piece of shits so desprate to make you miserable.." Aphrodite enunciated, crossing his arms as he scoffed, the spite he had for Mercury growing with each thought.
Earth went silent, staring at his trembling hands. A burning hatred formed in his core, sadness, despair. He balled his hands into a fist, gritting his teeth. They didn't care about the burning agony they felt by moving an inch. All that mattered was Mercury.
That demon.
He killed Mars.
He killed Luna.
His moon
His baby.
He killed his baby.
Earth stood up, straightening his posture as he carefully made his way out of the goldilocks area. "Earth? Where are you going..?" Venus perked up, his gaze tracking Earth's every move. Though the lifeless celestial didn't answer, he had an idea of what he was about to do. "Earth, wait!" Venus scrambled to his feet, rushing over to the stubborn planet. "Don't do this, you don't know what he can d-" "Do you know who I am, Venus?"
Venus went silent. "What?" He asked quietly. "Do you know who I am." Earth glared at the slightly shorter celestial, a black mist which came off of Earth's barren surface surrounded the two. "I am one of the few planets in this entire fucking solar system that has a few screws gone; that bitch is messing with the wrong person right about now." Earth stated, moving Venus out his way. "You're lucky I didn't decide fuck you over right now for lying to me." He declares, continuing his journey to Mercury's orbit. Venus' breath hitched as he went stiff, his gaze listerning on Earth. This wasn't going to end well.
A/N:  cue that one HOME song
The one where tip finds the whole Lotta people.
"Mercury." Earth states, his heavy eyes piercing through Mercury's. He could see the evil run through him, the smarts he supposedly obtained. "Ye-Yes..?" Hermes stammered, putting on a baby doll face as he backed away from the Earth, ready to put on a act. "Cut the bullshit." Gaia hissed at Hermes who squeaked. He took a rough grip on their arm, raising it in the air to which Mercury flinched slightly. "Wh- Wha.." He mumbled, his eyes glued onto Earth's deadly stare. "Don't act dumb, fuckass." They grumbled, pulling Mercury up to his face. "Do you know who the fuck you're messing with?" Earth quipped, raising a brow. Mercury went silent, looking off into the distance. Earth squeezed his arm, forcing Mercury to avert his gaze back to Earth's sickening eye. He was much more frightening up close. Makes it worse he's pissed off.
"You don't, right?"
Mercury slowly shook his head at Earth, who giggled. The larger celestial let go of Mercury's arm, grabbing him by his shirt colar. "Do you think murdering random people in the solar system is the solution to you and Venus arguing? Hm?" They tilted their head to the side, ignoring the mild headache that he felt. "I-I-" "ANSWER ME."
Mercury squeezed his eyes shut as Earth shouted. He could feel the gaze of the other planets watching the commotion. He was screwed.
"Mercury, I want you to look me in my ONE fucking eye, and tell me you're not the son of a bitch whose been terrorizing everyone." Earth pushed him, dropping his hands tk his side as a sadistic smile spread across his face. "TELL ME." Mercury shivered, looking away as he stammered. "I-I.. I d-" He started fiddling with his fingers, sweat pooling down his face. "'I-I' Is that all you can say?! Hm? 'I-I-I'? YOU WEREN'T STUTTERING WHEN YOU WERE OFF KILLING DIONE!" Gaia exclaimed, pointing at Hermes. "Awh, you gonna cry, Mercury? YOU GONNA CRY? COME ON CRY, BABY! WAH, WAH, WAH."
Hermes scoffed, putting a hand on his chest as Gaia teased him, a few tears swelling in his eyes. Embarrassing!!
"WAHHH, WAHH, YOU NEED A TISSUE? YOU WANT A BOTTLE LIL' MAN?" Earth bent over to his height, a wide grin spread across his face. Earth was actually insane. "WAAHH, WAHHH, I WANT MOMMY, I WANT MILK, I WANNA BE HELD, I WANNA BE COMFORTED!" Earth mimicked a crying motion with his hands. He stood up straight, his smile falling instantly as he pointed behind him. "Get out."
Mercury whimpered, his eyes widening in shock with his breath hitching. "W-What..?" They said in a bridle voice, holding his chest feeling more tears well in his eyes. "Get. Out." Earth deadpanned, venom lacing his tone as he made his eye half lidded. Hermes gulped, averting his gaze to his feet, many thought racing throughout his mind. "Exit, go on." Earth ushered, roughly pulling Mercury in front of him. "Earth, please don't do this- I- I can help hi-" Sun begged just for Earth to flash him a glance, one forcing him to be quiet. Earth let out a heavy sigh as he watched a Mercury slowly make his way out his orbit, not looking behind him. "Yeah, stay out there and rot in hell, you f####t." He wrapped his hands around himself, setting his eye to linger on his mist. It was gonna be a while till all the after effects cleared up.
Not to mention his splitting headache.
Earth huffed, enduring the agonizing pain that erupted. It ached him greatly, but with how furious he was at Mercury, he couldn't help but ignore it just to humble the bastard. He heaved, feeling a wet substance trail down his cheek. Tears.
He stifled a cry, falling to his knees, placing a hand on his head. He breathed heavily, moving his hand down to his mouth. He hadn't even notice Venus came over to him, helping them to their feet. "It's ok, I gotcha." Venus assured, holding Earth close to him. Earth felt weak in the knees, like he had actually beat Mercury to a pulp. "It's over now, it's all over." Venus choked out, a sigh of relief leaving his body for the first time in forever. "It's all done; Mars would be so proud of you, Earth." They rubbed their back, allowing Earth to sob into his chest.
It's over.
It's finally over.
Not for him.

Chapter 18: Death Is Life, Is Death, Is Life.
Summary:
Sinner sinner chicken dinner :3
Chapter Text
-----
"20.9.20.1.14, h-he's co-coming..!" 12.21.14.1 piped up, their arm holding tightly onto 20.9.20.1.14's. The taller person hummed, a feeling of hatred emerging in his stomach as the enemy they've been awaiting. He finally took his time to the Kuiper belt. "I see that, 12.21.14.1." He huffed, 'breathing' out heavily. 12.21.14.1 cracked a smile, leaning their head onto 20.9.20.1.14's arm, snuggling into their sleeve. Soon, he could feel 20.9.20.1.14 slip out his grip, disappearing into the shadows.
"..20.9.20.1.14?" 12.21.14.1 mumbled, looking in the direction 20.9.20.1.14 headed. He scratched his head before realizing the events that were about to occur,
"Oh no."
-
Mercury coughed as he swiftly put himself into the Kuiper belt, yet again, it all felt so familiar. It was familiar to when he first came here. Mercury felt a shiver go down his spine. It frightened him— Not as much as Earth cussing him out. Not to mention the hard F he slapped! It was embarrassing. No, Mercury didn't feel bad. He felt embarrassed. Embarrassed to be called out in front of everyone. No matter, he can just toy with the rest of the dwarf planets. They're stupid enough.
...
Maybe Earth's right. Maybe he's taking this too far. After all, his goal was to kill Venus, and everything would be fine. And he's been here losing his mind.
‘Oh, em gee, you finally realized!’
....
"You've got to be kidding me.." Mercury grumbled, pinching the space between his eyes as the ever annoying voice in his head erupted into laughter.
‘Nah, I'm just happy you realized what you've been doing wrong :3’
Mercury rolled his eyes, scanning the Kuiper Belt. "I'm an idiot.." He admits, furrowing his eyebrows as a frown formed on his face. Mercury sniffled, a feeling fear emerged in his core, something he hadn't felt in a while. Something was telling him it wasn't safe to be here- Atleast not anymore. Something was here. Someone. Some People.
Mercury shivered, feeling the hairs on his neck stand up as a sudden cold breeze swept him by. Mercury breathed out, watching cold air escape his lips. He hugged himself, slowly drifting further into the Kuiper Belt in high hopes of warmth. The warmth of the Sun. He regret not appreciating their heat enough. No, he wasn't catching feelings again. He just missed him-- or at least missed his overpowering heat. The only reason he missed it was due to he fact he was shivering cold, nothing else. The Sun can suck on it for all he cares.
Whatever. He doesn't care about the Sun. He doesn't need him in his life. Screw the other planets. They didn't understand how it felt to be him. How to be the smallest planet. To always have the fear of getting smaller - or worse, being demoted. That didn't exactly matter anymore. The Earthlings are extinct.
It was all cause of him and his selfish thinking.
Eh, who cares.
Mercury cleared his throat, rubbing his eyes as he pushed past some asteroids in the hope of finding comfort there. As he finally found a comfortable area, he set himself there, laying down on a pile of asteroids to laze back. How naive. Hermes sighed, looking up at the stars calmly.
He shut his eyes, soon getting used to the breeze. And when he reopened them, they weren't expecting the sight they saw.
"Heyy."
Mercury gasped in fright, jolting upwards almost immediately. He looked around frantically, putting a hand on his heaving chest. "What the fuck.." He mumbled, still breathing heavily.
"Why so serious?"
Mercy' yelped, quickly averting his gaze to wherever the voice erupted from. Frightened, Mercury stood up, still looking every which way that sound came from. Giggles echoed around him, making Mercury worry more. Here's a secret: Mercury's afraid of ghosts.
And 4.9.15.14.5 was using advantage of that.
Hermes shook his head, taking deep breaths as he left the area he was at. "Nah," He chuckled. "I aint dealing with this." They laugh. "I am not doing thiss!" Mercury speaks in a sing-song voice. They dash off further into the Kuiper Belt, adrenaline coursing through his veins. Off in the distance, saw a silhouette, one of a man — A tall man. 20.9.20.1.14.
Mercy' skid to a halt, swiftly changing ink his direction to the right. "Fuckfuckfuckfuck, fucking FUCKASS-" They grumbled, pushing down their prideful feeling. 20.9.20.1.14 and 4.9.15.14.5.
Titan.
Dione.
"He's g-gonna get away, Titan..." Dione murmured, maneuvering herself next to Titan, putting her scarred hand over her tainted blue lips, a deadly glaze on their opponent. "No worry, 1.18.9.5.12 can deal with him." Titan cocked his bloody head to the side a crack sound being made as he bit his bruised lips. "1.18.9.5.12..?" Dione squinted her eyes. "Isn't she l-like.. Dumb now?" She queried, tapping her chin with said hand. Titan slowly set his sight on the smaller moon beside him, feeling more blood drip from his eyelets. "Don't underestimate." He assures, "Ever heard of that hit game 'The Last Of Us'?" Titan smiles slightly, becoming one with the shadows— Disappearing. Dione looks to her side to see nothing soon glancing back in the direction Mercury had flew through. "Hm." She shrugs.
-
Hermes panted as he raced through the bombardment of asteroids, sweat pooling down his face alongside his heavily beating core. He came to a stop, trying to gain his breath. Mercury gulped, clutching his chest as he felt a sharp pain erupt throughout his body. "F- FUCK!" Mer' howled, bending over in agony. They seethed, drool slipping through his teeth and trailing down his chin. The pain went on for about 2 minutes, forcing Mercury to fall over on his side, clutching his abdomen.
Mercury heaved, wiping the saliva off his chin as he slowly sat up, still holding his stomach. Mercury doesn't know what just happened— Usually when he uses his speed, nothing like this ever happens.. What went wrong today? Mercury shakes his head, ignoring that thought.
Click, Click, Click!
Mercury freezes, trailing his eyes up to in front of him. 1.18.9.5.12.
Mercury gulped, not moving an inch. This situation feels like when Earth explained that game his Earthlings made. Hermes shut his eyes closed, not able to bare staring at 1.18.9.5.12 any longer. She hadn't moved from in front of him, that's for sure; her repetitive clicking noise hadn't died down. Every minute. Click, click, click! It annoyed Mercury, however if he were to move by a centimeter, 1.18.9.5.12 would probably acknowledge him.
Then, he felt heavy 'breathing' in his face. She was intensely close to him. Fuck.
Hermes slowly opened his eyes, struggling to keep in the gasp that tried escaping his chapped lips. The eye whites that 'stared' into his own sent chills down his spine. Mercury could feel his eyes water, as 1.18.9.5.12 refused to move from her position, instead getting closer to Mercury to which he responded with moving his head back slightly. A hoarse moan escaped her broken jaw, drool seeping from her mouth. More clicking noises being made as she tilted her head to the side. Mercury cringed in disgust as he heard the sound of 1.18.9.5.12's neck bone crack. Slowly, 1.18.9.5.12 made her way to stand up 'straight' her right arm bent in an inhuman way. Her legs were also crooked with bruises covering her body.
1.18.9.5.12 gurgled, steadily maneuvering away from where Mercury sat, roaming the area some more. Hermes covered his mouth as he finally let out the breath he had been holding. He tried to steady his breathing before 1.18.9.5.12 came back over to investigate the sounds of Mercy's rapid exhaling. Hermes swallowed the lump in his throat as he slowly crept away from the spot he had been in, glancing over at 1.18.9.5.12 every now and then. They huffed, making a quick leap for it, instantly regretting that option as he heard 1.18.9.5.12 make her god awful clicking sounds. They became louder, signaling that she was close.
Mercury froze in the pose he was in, sweat raining off his face. They sensed 1.18.9.5.12 approach them, her whimpers growing. Hermes let his eyes rest again, keeping his mouth closed as 1.18.9.5.12 loomed over him, her drool dripped onto Mercury's neck, forcing him to stifle a gag.
‘EWWW THAT NASTY AS FUCK.’
Mercury cursed under his breath, the tingly sensation of 1.18.9.4.12's saliva mixed with sweat produced an uncomfortable feeling for our boy Mercury. His breath hitched as 1.18.9.4.12's messy hair touched his neck, signifying her head tilt; It's like she was attempting to hear him when she did that. Her shrill croaking burned Mercury's ears, making him wince.
Thankfully, 1.18.9.4.12 got distracted over a different sound, making her let out a big boisterous screech, immediately rushing over to 'examine' the rambunctious clatter. Mercury gasped, collecting himself before he bolted for it. A wave of relied washing over him. He hadn't noticed the figure that acquainted him in escaping. Their pure core of moondust. They wouldn't hurt a soul. Even during this situation.
Hermes coughed as he ran, droplet of salty sweat flying down his face as a waterfall, and his breathing became shallow.
You got asthma shnawg
Mercury groaned loudly, ignoring the Voice's comments. He heard laughter echo in his mind, forcing their head to spin. Mercury's head started to ache, the sensation making him whimper as he dashed about the Kuiper Belt. Their dizziness caught him off guard when they ran into a figure.
An oddly tall one.
Mercury averted his gaze to the ghost who he had run into. His eyes dilated, the fearful emotion returning almost instantly. 13.1.18.19 took a tight grip onto Hermes' arm, raising it into the air as he murmured. "Going somewhere?" They cooed, giggling afterward. Hermes yanked his arm away, continuing to speed off. They heard 13.1.18.19 cackle in the distance as he raced away.
"Voice- V-VOICE, HELP ME, PLEASE!"
‘no’
No? "NO? EH- WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'NO'?!" Mercury huffed, his eyebrows furrowing in anger. Nows not the time for games.
‘How do I help you if you can't help yourself?’
Mercury raises his brow in confusion, an audible gasp escaping his lips. "Wh- What do you-" He breathes out, nearly tripping over an asteroid. "What do you mean?!" He puffs.
‘WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'VE BEEN SPEAKING TO THIS WHOLE TIME.’
Hermes gulped, coming to a stop to catch his breath before he replied. "U-Uhmm.. I don't know?! I just call you Voice!" They admit, hearing the voice sigh loudly.
‘Oh my gosh, Mercury-
I AM YOU.’
Mercury's eyes widened, his breath hitching.
‘YOU'VE BEEN SPEAKING TO YOURSELF THIS ENTIRE TIME, DUMBASS.’
Mercury could feel tears swell up in his eyes.
‘Now go deal with this yourself, PEACE.’
Hermes choked up, putting a hand over his agape jaw. They slowly fell to their knees, sniffling. He felt salty tears creeping down their face, soft gasps escaping his mouth. There was something wrong with him.
Something seriously wrong.
"I-I-I'm a mon..ster.." They hiccuped while bawling.
This entire time, he's been talking to himself.
It pained Mercury deeply. To realize how terrible of a person you are is devastating, even worse when you notice you're actually insane and deserve to be in an asylum hidden away from everyone and taped to the ceiling forever in the dark with nobody feeding or talking to you.
Sorry, that was deep.
Hermes continued to sob into his hands, all the guilt he felt piled up on him. His emotions spilled out at the wrong timing. If only he had never pleaded for help. If only he wasn't foolish to listen to his intrusive thoughts. If only-
"It's ok."
Hermes' breath hitches, his eyes trailing up to the scenery, as he sniveled.
"I'm still here."
Mercury wipes his eyes, "Wh- Who's there?" He questions, whimpering.
"A... Friend.."
The planet, rubs his eyelets, scrambling to his feet as he snuffles. "You sound like Luna... Are you-"
"Maybe, Maybe not."
Mercy' furrows his brows, taking a breath. At least he isn't completely alone. "Luna, I'm really sor-"
"SHH! You have to hide!"
The planet stifles a gasp, his ears picking up the shrivel of 1.18.9.4.12's croaking. He groans lightly, ducking underneath an asteroid, keeping his breath steady.
"I'll distract her, you stay hidden."
The ghostly figure shuffled away, keeping an eye on Mercury. Once in front of 1.18.9.4.12, he spoke in a hushed voice. "1.18.9.4.12.." Luna put his cold hands onto 1.18.9.4.12's pale shoulders, feeling her shiver under his touch. "Leave him alone, 1.18.9.4.12.." They rubbed circles in 1.18.9.4.12's shoulders, watching as she relaxed her muscles, cocking her head to the side, her bone snapping. "Go.. Go to 15.2.5.18.15.14, 1.18.9.4.12." Luna lightly pushed her in the opposite direction. Despite 1.18.9.4.12's difficulties in understanding, she got the memo, hesitantly making her way away from Lunar's soothing touch. He was an angel.
Luna isn't like the others.
"You need to leave." Luna enunciated, twisting his head to glance at Mercy' whom was behind an asteroid. "Wh- What? But-" Mercury was cut off with Luna appearing in front of him. "Go." Luna hissed, vanishing in thin air. Mercury, frightened, decided to comply to avoid anymore problems with these haunted figures.
It's either he's gone fully insane, or his victims are coming for vengeance.
Maybe he's hallucinating.
Mer' gulped, staring off into the distance, he could see the ice giants converse. Probably about him, who knows.
Mercury shook his head, spinning on his heel and flying further into the Kuiper Belt. Luna only told him to leave the place, not the entire Kuiper Belt. Mercury chuckled, thinking he outsmarted the mere moon. His hazel eyes glistening with tears. His cheeks were red and puffy, his eyelets burned.
But they don't care, Luna's on his side anyways. Nobody can hurt him.
Or so he thought.
Hermes' smile disappeared at once, whispering filling his ears. Due to his impeccable hearing skills, they could listen to the conversation clearly.
"What do you mean, 'don't kill him, 1.18.9.4.12?!"
"I don't want you all to h-hurt him."
"So, he can hurt us and get away with it?"
"T-That's not w-wh-what I meant, 18.8.5.1."
"It sure sounds like it."
"H-H-Hurting him w-wo-would make us non-none other than like t-them, would it no-not?"
"Mmph.."
"Dawg, what."
Mercury snickered at the last comment.
"Whatever, Luna we're doing this wether you like it or not."
"Titan.."
Mer' had to admit, he felt remorse for Luna. It's his fault, after all. Maybe he should let the moons gets what they want.
No, You have so much to live for Mercury. It's not your time.
"You got this, Mercury." He affirmed, slapping his face softly. "I got this." They exhaled deeply, pulling his shorts up. Once again, hopefully for the last time, Mercury zoomed past the debris of asteroids, a trail of dust and smoke behind him. He rushed through the Kuiper Belt, a look of determination painted his face as he bit his lip.
Perhaps all this wasn't real and he's actually running from nothing.
"Running from your sins, are we?"
Mercury yelped, ramming himself into a spirit his body feeling sick as he did so.
"Shii' You good, fam?" The ghost winced, looking behind them to stare at Mercury's sprawled out body. "Mphh.." Hermes turned over onto his bottom, facing the person. "Alright, I'm gonna kill ya' now." Dione smiled sweetly, making Mercury shriek as he dashed off. "Dawg, I didn't even hit you yet!!" Dion pouted, placing a hand on her hip. Soon, 13.1.18.19 appeared beside them, his face in shock. "That gave me a ptsd attack." They choked. The moon raised her brow. "What?" "The: I didn't even hit you yet; I got Jump-scared."
Meanwhile with Mercury, he was practically circling the Kuiper Belt, a shrill screech blew from his lips. They wheezed with every 'step' they took. He heard the laughter of the spirits behind them, it's like they wouldn't leave him alone.
Obviously.
Mercury hadn't noticed the person behind him, and how they slowly put a hand on him. Mercy' shouted, averting his gaze to behind him, shock overtaking his body.
It's them
It who he dreaded to see again.
The first.
Pluto.
Pluto's dangling eye stared up at Mercury, a twisted feeling emerged in the larger planets stomach as he held back his vomit. "Oh my gosh.. Pluto I really fucked you up.." They commented, immediately covering their mouth, noticing what he just blurted. Mercury could hear Pluto growl as they took a step back. "Pluto, I'm sorry.. I wasn't thinking straight a-and I- I swear.. I swear I understand your ange-"
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND MY ANGER."
Mercury went silent, beads of sweat crawling down his chin. "You don't." Was all Pluto said before he motioned for someone to come forth. "This ends, now." His voice was brittle, pieces of his flesh dangling from the side. Honestly, you could hardly tell who he was. Then, Titan appeared by his side, glaring daggers at Mercury. "Get. Him."
And then the chase resumed, anew.
Mercury made a run for it, feeling Titan's eyes on his stern boosted his adrenaline. The fear of becoming ghost dinner haunted him. "Sinners need to be punished, Mercury." They heard Pluto's voice echo throughout his mind. "Quit resisting and it might not be as painful." The dwarf planet persuaded, toxins lacing his tone.
Titan was hot on his trail, cold air pressing his skin. Mercury groaned, kicking asteroids out his view. Suddenly, he was pulled behind one by someone else. Luna.
That angel..
"Shh!"
Mercury complied, being completely still and quiet. "Titan won't hurt me, however, he will hurt you." Luna explained as he stepped out in front of Titan's sight. "What are you doing?!" Mercury could hear Titan bark, he sensed the steam of this conversation. "Nothing, what are YOU doing." Luna retorted.
"I told you, we're getting rid of Mercury for once and for ALL." Titan hissed, "Why are you being so difficult!" They grumbled, hiding his mangled face. "I dunno," Luna made a gesticulate for Mercury to go. "Why are you being difficult?"
Mercury's mouth went agape as he stumbled to get up, rushing past the two. "Wha-" Titan muttered, looking past him. "Luna, you made him get away!" "Did I doo thaaaat?"
Hermes silently thanked Luna for aiding him yet again. They were a true sweetheart. Earth raised him well.
Enough of that, he has more things to worry about, for instance, the fact Pluto is still possibly hunting him.
Mercury could see the edge of the Kuiper Belt, hinting he was almost out. A small smile was present on his face as he passed the asteroids with glee, not slowing down. Unfortunately, he tripped over one, scraping his hands.
Turning over, To see what was in front of him, he was met face to face with Pluto.
Well,
That'd be an underestimation.
Pluto had no face.
......FINISHED
