Madotsuki is sitting near the shores of the Pink Sea, holding a fishing rod to hopefully catch a fish here. All in the while, Poniko approaches her out of interest of what she is doing. She looks at Madotsuki fishing, and almost couldn’t hold her laugh. Madotsuki hears at the laugh and looks at her sternly. “What is so funny about it?” Madotsuki says in a stern tone. Poniko lets out a smug smile, and says in a sneering tone. “Why in the hell do you even try to fish in this shallow sea? In fact, there is no single living fish that exists here, so you’re just wasting your time.”
Hearing what she said, Madotsuki’s face goes from normal to a snarl, and points at Poniko, saying…
“What do you mean it’s a waste of time?! I explored the dream worlds of the Nexus and seen things that’s beyond human comprehension, things that are impossible in the real world! And you dare to say that what I’m doing is illogical? Bull-crap, I’ll prove you wrong!” Madotsuki swiftly looks away from her and all can Poniko do is scoff at her and look towards the sea.
For a while, it seems that there’s no fish caught for the last 10 minutes. Poniko looks at her with a stuck-up face, while Madotsuki is focusing on what she is doing, not looking at her. Then, the fishing rod moves a little bit by a fish, which makes Madotsuki alert, and she holds the rod firmly so as not to lose it and the fish. All in the while, Poniko’s face goes from over-confidence to astonishment as to what is going on right now. Madotsuki stands up, and goes backwards and pulls the rod as hard as she can. She grunts, trying to take out a seemingly a large fish. Then, when she finally takes it out … A large whale goes out of the water, going up to the sky. Madotsuki drops her fishing rod with awe. She and Poniko open their mouths with shock on their faces of what they are witnessing. Then, the whale goes head straight down to the sea. It hits the sea and causes a large splash wave. Having no way to escape from it, they look at it as it’s approaching them. It then hits them, soaking their clothes in result. They look at each other, and Madotsuki begins to laugh at her, like mad lady. Then, she begins to speak at her.
“Hahaha! See now? I told you I’ll prove you wrong, and I did! There IS living fish down under the sea.”
She speaks proudly and grins. All in the while, Poniko scornfully looks at her. “All right, all right, you won, but stop being a jerk shoving it to my face. It irritates me!” She says. “Ooh, mad cause your hypothesis is wrong? Don’t worry, it’s not the end of the world.” Madotsuki gleefully says to her. Poniko sighs and crosses her arms.
“Okay then… By the way, are you going to go now?” She asks her frankly.
“Hm…? Oh, yes… I’ll go to my way to find places that I haven’t find yet.” Madotsuki answers her. She then uses her Bicycle effect and rides it. Before she goes away, she shouts at Poniko. “Goodbye and take care!” And then waves at her. Poniko looks and weakly waves at her. Once Madotsuki is out of the view, Poniko looks at her soaked outfit and lets out a long weary sigh. She walks back to her home with the drops of water going down from the outfit.
