Will casually walked through the doors of Nico’s school, bringing with him a yellow glow. All eyes turned to him, people were shoving past each other to get a good look at the newcomer. They whispered about his glowing hair and bright blue eyes, the words a hushed wave of sound. Will smirked, he usually got this reaction from people, especially mortals.
“Hello there!” Will heard a voice say to his back. He turned around to find a brunette girl with green eyes staring at him flirty.
“Hey!” Said Will back, a little uncomfortable.
“I was wondering if you would like to go out with my friend here sometime soon?” The girl said, grabbing by the shoulders a blonde girl who looked really embarrassed.
“Umm… I would love to but I'm dating someone.” With this, he turned around and continued to walk through the hallways looking for his boyfriend.
A few other girls walked up to him, flirting and showing off. They talked to him for minutes as he walked. They draped themselves over him, wanting his attention, but the most he gave was a glance or a few words. He wore what he usually did, a T-shirt, cargo shorts and snickers, but somehow that just attracted people even more. They flirted to their heart’s content, but he mostly ignored them, until he had to ask the question.
“Do any of you know where Nico is? Short, dark hair, wears black a lot, highkey emo?” Will kinda yelled so that everyone around him could hear. He heard a few giggles and whispers, but after a few seconds, the crowd realized he was being serious.
“You mean the strange kid? He’s usually by the bathrooms in the back, nobody else ever goes back there.” Said the same blond girl that (kinda) asked him out earlier.
Will thanked her and left the crowd to find Nico, they followed him anyway. Nico, as suspected, was in the exact same spot the girl had specified, with his headphones in his ears and his backpack in his laps. When he looked up and saw Will, his face lit up, literally, a soft glow reflected onto his pale skin. Nico took off his headphones while Will helped him up and pulled him into a hug. The crowd started whispering about them, but Will couldn't care less. He took Nico’s head and pulled him into a long kiss. The audience gasped at this and Nico gave them a deadly look. After this Will and Nico, holding hands, went to camp half blood.
