“Lulu please,,,” Mona tried to calm the girl down at the work place, but the girl seemed too upset.
“NO!” The girl shouted, and went past Mona to stop down the hallway,
“Lulu…”
“Don’t TALK to me!” Lulu yelled again, her food went missing, the food she’d be excited all day to eat, but it wasn’t there. Ashley had opened her door a bit to see the commotion,
“Mona?”
“Not now Ash… Lulu is having one of her “moments” again…”
Lulu was biting her bottom lip as she seemed to walk randomly down the hallway, Mona at some point at finally stopped the girl by picking her up. Lulu in response screamed and kicked the air,
“PUT, ME, DOWN!” Mona tried her best to calm the girl down, and looked over at Wario who was passing by,
“Wario, please help!” The man raised a brow and stared at the screaming girl, she looked like she would start crying, so the man sighed and came over to Lulu, trying his best to comfort the girl,
“Hey kid,” He began, “what’s up huh? Wrong side of the bed? Forgot something at home?” The girl sniffled and stared at Wario,
“SOMEONE ATE MY FOOD! THE FOOD FOR ME…” Wario raised his brows at looked over at Mona,
“I’d react the same way too…”
“Wario!”
“It’s true,” Wario looked down the hallway, and caught glimpse of the dark brown haired boy leaving his room, he seemed tired, but Wario needed his help. “Cricket!” He called, the teen stopped in place, he looked up and down the hall, then pointed to himself. “Yeah, c’mere kid.” Lulu was still kicking, constantly yelling “LET ME GO!” Over and over. The teen seemed a bit frightened at the girls reaction, he had only talked to her twice up to this point, but he still walked up to Wario. “Hey Lulu! Check it.” Lulu finally opened her eyes, and automatically stopped kicking. She stared at the tall boy and whispered,
“Hi Cricket…”
“H-hello uhm…” He stopped and seemed to think for a moment, the little girl stared at him, so Cricket looked at Mona who mouthed out ‘Lulu’. “Lulu?” The girl nodded, something about Cricket seemed to calm her, he just seemed so kind, so trustworthy. “What’s up? You seemed to yell a lot, are you feeling okay?” Mona finally put the girl down and sighed in relief, no longer needing to hold the girl.
“No…” Lulu admitted, and grabbed the sides on her skirt, she looked down and stared down at her shoes, “Someone ate my lunch… It’s missing…” Cricket aww’d and knelt down,
“Ya know… I’d be upset as well if someone did that to me.” Wario gave a smirk and looked at Mona, who scoffed and crossed her arms, but couldn’t help but smile. The little girl seemed to have some type of guilt come over her, she pulled on her skirt and sunk into herself, Cricket didn’t pick up on her body language, and continued to talk. “You know, my Master Mantis taught me some ways to help me calm down when i’m upset.” He put his hand on Lulu’s chin and made her face him. “Crying and letting everything out is something you can do.” Lulu stared at the teenager,
“Really?”
“Really. But if it’s anger you feel, and you don’t want to let people see it, go to a private room and let it out. You can always go into my room and let it out on my punching bags, even if i’m not in the room!” Cricket stood up and held out two fingers, “step two, calm down. Once you let everything out, you take a breather. That’s the stage you’re on right now since you’re not crying anymore, right?”
“Yeah,,” Lulu rubbed her eyes, as Mona rubbed her head, she definitely has calmed down.
“Perfect… And three. It’s to ready yourself up before you continue your day.” He held a hand out to Lulu, “I’m going to get lunch with the ninja sisters, if you’d like, you can come too.” He looked back at the man and woman standing there, “You as well Mr.Wario and Miss Mona.” Mona giggled and shook her head,
“No thank you, I have food that I brought.” Wario crossed his arms and scoffed,
“You should’ve asked me sooner, I just had my lunch.” Cricket shrugged and looked back at the little girl, she had gotten closer to him,
“I’d like to go…” And placed her hand into his, in a way, it was like he was family.
“That’s the spirit!” He lifted the girl up and put her on his shoulders, Lulu squealed with joy as she hugged his head and stopped, he hair was so soft, it smelled so… Nice?? It was like if you took every flower scent and mixed it into one beautiful set of hair. “I guess we’re both off to our lunchbreak Mr.Wario! We’ll be back soon!” Wario fanned his hand,
“Yeah yeah, just make sure the kid gets something to eat.” He took a bit before pulling out his wallet, and hesitantly, handed him $10. “Just don’t go around tellin people this eh?? Don’t want people thinking big ol Wario has gone soft!”
“Maybe you are going soft.” Wario turned around to see Ashley, and jumped a bit, Mona held her chest as she wheezed a bit,
“Were you… Just standing there the whole time??” Ash shrugged,
“I heard food, so I came out.” Mona, Ashley and Wario began to talk as Young Cricket and Lulu began to leave, Lulu couldn’t stop touching his hair, in fact she couldn’t stop hugging his head, he felt, safe. She liked being around him, it was like having a sibling she never had. Plus, she’d finally get food.
