"Doctor," Fury said, greeting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s chief medical officer as he entered his office. "Is there something I can do for you?"
"There's nothing Ieft for me to do for Agent Coulson," Dr. Baxter said. "He refuses all medication. He doesn't even sleep anymore. If you want him to live, you need to take him to Barton. His husband might be his only hope."
Fury clenched his teeth ad rose to his feet from behind his desk. "Fine, I'll take him to the tower. This isn't going to go well," Fury said.
"Then maybe you shouldn't have separated them, sir," Dr. Baxter said.
"Maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself, Doctor," Fury said, stalking down the hallway and rode the elevator to medical. to see Coulson. When Fury entered his One Good Eye's room, he was startled by how pale he looked. "I'll get you a wheelchair," Fury said.
"Where are we going, sir?" Phil asked.
"To see Barton," Fury said.
"You're taking me home?" Phil asked.
"I'm taking you to Avengers Tower," Fury said said.
"The Avengers have a tower?" Phil asked.
"Tony changed the name on his tower," Fury said.
Phil smiled.
