A Letter from Hoshikawa Yori

Summary:

A letter for Mugino Minato, 60 years later.

Work Text:

Everyone might say that we're disgusting when we share our happiness then. But, I'm grateful we kept it for ourselves. There's only me and you in a hole called Happiness and Home.

I enjoy playing with you every day in the gardens, in the trolleybus, on the tapestry, in a cave, wherever you are in it. I'm happy to go to school with you, do our homeworks together, and spend my teens with you. I'm glad to see you go home from work, clean the house together, and share our stories every day. I'm happy to grow old with you, with every laugh and love we give each other. And, I'm glad you left me first. Without having to see you sadly abandoned by me.

Minato, you're a good man that I can easily love. When you see me as a home, then I see you as my world. Now I lose my world, my Minato. See you in the next life, Minato. Let's see each other again even if we don't know what we're gonna be in the next life. I'll keep loving you no matter what you look like. I'll find you wherever you are. May your next life be filled with happiness. I'll see you again and I’ll always be yours, my love for the rest of my life.
