𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻. 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟴 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿...
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗱.
"Alright sunbeams! Who can tell me what time it is now?" sun asked the room brightly, the children all screaming almost in sync "NAP TIME!" sun giggled and nodded "correct! Now, everyone to the nap time corner! I'll go get mister moon" sun announced, clapping his hands to make sure the children were paying full attention. The children all rushed over to the 'nap time corner', a fairly large area near the ballpit, decorated with dark blues and purples, and even glow,in the dark stars, sun giggled to himself as he remembered moon placing the stars there, he'd been excited to see the children's reaction to them, and the kids were amazed.
Sun made his way to the light switch, stopping right next to it "alright moony, you ready?" Sun asked moon, his tone hushed as to not disturb the children.

"Moony? Did you hear me?" Sun asked, only to be met with absolute silence once again. "Okay, moon this isn't funny, you're scaring me" sun waited for a response, and sighed when there was no such thing "..are you mad at me. ? Did I do something brother? Hello moony?" Sun waited for another 20 seconds and sighed again "well.. If you're mad or not, the lights are going off now.. Please tell me if I did something, brother" sun whispered the last part, before flicking the light switch, closing his eyes and reopening them in a yellowish void.
Sun waited for a greeting from his brother, like he normally would, or at least some overly dramatic 'at last! I'm free!' From him, but there was nothing "moony? Are you mad at me..?" Sun repeated his question with a desperate tone "please , just say anything, anything at all you're scaring me!" Sun was almost yelling now, ha sat on the 'floor' of the yellowish void, moon wasn't even letting him see what was going on outside, sun had his knees to his chest as he sat, counting the hours until nap time ended.
Sun awoke as the lights flashed on, he sat near the nap time corner, he didn't even get to look around before he saw it..
"...moon.. What did you do..?"
Sun stared wide-eyed at the scene in front of him.. Multiple children sat on the floor sobbing, while others laid bleeding and unconscious.. And only half a foot from where sun sat, a boy with blonde hair, now stained red, laid, he wasn't moving, and.. He looks dlike he'd been bashed against a wall multiple times, the child's nose was broken, and his chest looked.. Ripped to shreads, sun automatically scanned the child, along with calling authorities, a programmed response to a serious injury. Sun was frozen in fear, he didn't know how much time passed before security and Medicare came rushing into the daycare, breaking the 'no adults allowed' rule, but sun didn't even think of it. The child was rushed out first, the other unconscious ones following shortly after, and whole scene plaid out in front of sun, but he barely remembered it at all.
After the Incident, a new rule was added to the daycare. 'Keep the lights on.' Was the rule, sun had to announce it every time someone entered the daycare, he'd gotton good at it fast..
But moon never said a word. Not once.
The daycare was rarely used after the incident for a long, horrible 6 months.
Everytime the light went out sun would have no idea what was going on, but someone was *always* hurt by the time the lights came back on.
And thats how it was for 3 entire years, sun living in fear of his own brother.

Sun waved the last of the children goodbye, a small group, but they sure made a mess, sun giggled to himself as he started picking up the berrels, talking to no one..
He hoped moon was listening.
"-even though he was in the ball pit! Definitely the best game of hide and seek I've played in a good long while!" Sun said as he picked up the barrels, stacking them on top of each other one by one until he moved onto picking up the toys "-billions of crafts! There were so many I didn't think they'd be able to carry them all out the door! What an exciting day, huh, moony?" Sun said, he knew there would be no response, he continued cleaning as he hummed to himself, occasionally talking, until the daycare door opened.
*"hey uh.. Sun?"* the employee said, not walking into the daycare, mindful of the rules, sun spinner on his heels to face them "oh! Hello friend! Did the children miss something? Or maybe lost one of their crafts?" Sun said excitedly as he skipped towards the door "uh.. No, actually you need to come with me to parts and service, now" sun tilted his head in confusion "I've not finished cleaning though friend! The daycares a mess! Clean up clean up!" Sun said, making a sweeping motion with his hands and the employee looked around the daycare from where they would see from the door "looks clean ehough to me, cmon, I'm not arguing with you about this" they said and started walking off, sun quickly followed.
When they made it to parts and service, sun was powered off, unaware of what they were doing, as he sat along in the yellowish void, pacing back and forth "wonder what they're doing, don't you moony?... Yeah.. Me too" sun sat on the floor and sighed, counting the seconds, which became minutes, which became hours, exactly 7 hours, 42 minutes and 13 seconds he sat there talking to himself, then he woke up again.
The first thing sun noticed was the light sencor on him was missing- causing him to internally panic. Had they.. Removed moon? Was he gone now? No nonononononononononononono-
"..sun..?"
Sun quickly turned his head to his side at the sound of the familiar voice, his brother stood next to him, they were also in the daycare again- although sun didn't even notice, he was stunned silent
"I-is that really.. You..? O-or am I dreaming again" moon started and sun shook his head and ran to his brother, embracing him, moon was stunned for a second before hugging sun back
"I-i thought they got- got rid of you!" Sun said, if he could cry he'd be doing just that
"I-.. Th-this is.. Real.. Oh my god- SUN!" moon squeezed his brother as tight as he could.
After a whole 10 minutes of hugging, unable to actually get a coherent sentence out, the two brothers let go for each other, and sun was the first to speak.
"M-moon.. What happened.. To you?" *sun asked slowly, he wasn't actually sure if his brother knew what he was talking about, that was until moon sighed and sat on the floor.
"I-i don't exactly know, sun.. One second I would see exactly what was going on, I could talk to you.. And the next it was all just.. Dark.." Moon spoke slowly, and sun sat next to him, listening "it.. It hurt, it hurt so &$#@ing bad" moon added and sun looked at the floor, not sure what to say "..i thought I'd never hear you again- let alone actually 𝘴𝘦𝘦 you- I missed you so much brother" sun said as he looked back up at moon, who nodded "I missed you too sunny.. Y'know.. I heard you talking sometimes.." Moon looked at sun "it helped.. Y'know.. Hearing your voice" sun smiled, nodding again "im-im glad.. I was hoping you'd hear"
sun looked around the daycare and stood back up "hm.. The daycare won't clean itself, I should get to it" sun said as he looked back at moon, who nodded and stood up aswell "well, I'll help you this time, and how about you tell me about the kids today? I remember hearing something about a great game of hide and seek?" Moon watched as Suns face lit up "oh! Yes yes yes! You see, we were playing, and I thought they were in the playhouse.."
