I've been sitting on this playlist since before ClydeThistles posted the last chapter (last two chapters???) of the Piano AU, wanting it to be perfect, but we're our own worst critics and i guess it'll never be perfect by my reckoning, what with the balancing of instrumentals and so on. So here it is!
If you can listen in order, it follows thematic elements of the fic, from both Yennefer and Tissaia's POV, and several of the songs herein are actually straight out of the fic (the Rachmaninov, Schubert, and Beethoven, along with "Who Now Will Sing Me Lullabies" and "The Very Thought of You", with many thanks to Clyde for her help in selecting some of the pieces.
In another universe, i managed to work "Estranged," by The Ting Tings into this, but i never could get the right transitions into and out of that jarringly different track, so feel free to imagine that as a song that Yen sprawled across her sofa listening to on loop during the estrangement.
