Work Text:
Gunships Research Transports Space dragons are aquatic, having evolved to suit the harsh conditions of the universe’s sea of stars.
Description (Same as alt text): In the foreground to the far left is a vaguely triangular blue and silver starship with two enormous viewports that you miiight imagine were eyes except they’re clearly viewports because you can see the silhouettes of two passengers and some furniture, a hallway, and the back of a display surface inside. There are also a pair of sensors that might be eyes. The suggestion that this might be a dragon and not a starship at all is supported by what appears to be a sinuous snake-like body trailing off back toward the distant star, translucent against the starscape. But that’s silly. There are no dragons in space. And those definitely aren’t guns back there, nope.
Second image description (same as alt-text): Planning sketches of ARTdragon, including ideas for a multi panel comic with closeups, and a few different design elements that I didn’t have time to try out. These fever dream ambitions include ARTdragon stealing a planet, ARTdragon with clusters of judgmental glaring eyes, and ARTdragon with rows of tiny t-Rex arms on its underside for its legion of drone limbs.
