Inside the Nijigasaki School Idol Club room, the members were having a meeting around the table for the upcoming school fair while the first years were sitting and slacking on the far side of the room. Shortly before the meeting will be finished with Yu already standing from her seat, she asked the members for the last time.
Yu: …Alright everyone, we’re setting up our own stall for this fair. Any suggestions?
Ayumu: Hmmm… I was think about putting up takoyaki or ramen shop Yu, but it’s already occupied by the other clubs.
One by one, the members immediately responded, with Ai stood up from her seat.
Ai: How about a monja shop?
Karin faced her while sitting.
Karin: That might take some time to setup.
Ai: Aw...
Ai remained standing while looking at someone who speaks. Yu asked Kanata while on her nap.
Yu: Say Kanata, you’re good at cooking right?
Kanata: M-me? I might get sleepy while cooking… Zzzzz.
Emma raised her hand and replied.
Emma: I want to try a bakery!
Setsuna stands up with her both hand lean on the table.
Setsuna: Hey, what about the flaming side dishes?
Lanzhu who sits next to Setusna responded with her eyes closed and her both hands applaud together.
Lanzhu: [Clap!] Oh and Lanzhu’s authentic servings too!
Mia knew what’s up with the two and scratches her hair with her disappointing looks.
Mia: Jeez… We better off make burgers than these two lethal chefs. [Continues scratching her hair]
Yu faced Mia.
Yu: Sure, but uhmm… there’s already enough burgers all over the campus so…
Kasumi stood up with her both hands raised and shouted from the sofa on the far side of the room.
Kasumi: I wanna serve the cutest koppepan!!
Shizuku closed her eyes while facing at her.
Shizuku: Like always… [Smiled]
Rina: Maybe we should have some special smoothies.
Shioriko: Yeah, those sounds lovely!
Yu: Ummm everyone… hold on a second everyone because… [She closed her eyes and yells] I can’t choose just one!!
After few minutes has passed with the entire club room chattering, Yu has already decided.
Yu: Alright everyone, it’s been decided that we’ll have bakery at the school fair!
This announcement excites Emma.
Emma: Buono! Mmmmm!!
Ayumu asked her why she choose that option.
Ayumu: But why bakery?
Yu: It’s because, it’s easier to setup, and we could learn some basic cooking and preparation too.
Kanata woke up from her nap before taking another nap shortly.
Kanata: That looks fun.
Ai: Yeah, I wanna try too!
Shioriko suddenly received an urgent call from student council on her phone. She picks up the call and answered.
Shioriko: Yes. Uhuh. What? You need our help? Okay, we’ll get there soon.
Shioriko takes a sigh after ending the call.
Shizuku: What is it?
Shioriko: One of the singing club needs our help.
Rina: Sounds like a trouble.
Kasumi: Don’t worry about them, we…
Shioriko: It’s urgent so we need to split up while some will take charge at the stall before we’ll return shortly.
Kasumi: Then who’ll be in charge at the stall?
The scene immediately cuts to Kasumi at the stall, along with Emma who was standing right next to her. Their stall is at the center of the crowded school fair along with other stalls.
Kasumi: [Yells] Why just the two of us?!
Emma: [Chuckles] They know we’re the only members who loves bread, although I haven’t baked some lately since I got into this school.
Kasumi: Oh… and Shiotti said they need more volunteers so we’ll be in charge here while waiting for them.
Kasumi asked her while walking towards the box.
Kasumi: So, what do we got here?
Emma replied while also checking another box.
Emma: I found some flours, eggs, cooking book, stove and oven, I think they brought some ingredients needed make a bread.
Kasumi: They got more cooking tools too…
After few minutes of setting up their stall, they’re now ready to bake and Kasumi raised her right fist to begin their bakery shop.
Kasumi: Alright! Let’s start baking!
Emma: Yay!!
Kasumi: Although I only know how to make Koppepan a-and… that’s it.
Emma: Then we should make some assorted breads…
Kasumi showed a cooking book about the other types of bread around the world.
Kasumi: …like this?
Emma got her excited on her feet with her eyes shining upon seeing all types of bread.
Emma: OOOOOOHHH!! I’ve been wanting to try this! And this one too! Thank you!!
Emma immediately hugs Kasumi tightly. Their chests were seemingly pressed on each own as they hugged together.
Kasumi: Oof, Emma!
Shortly after, Emma and Kasumi are working together to prepare some bread a few hours before the school fair starts. Emma showed Kasumi a sample of croissant she finished baking.
Emma: Look, look!! I’ve been dreaming about this!!
Kasumi: That looks tasty! Lemme try it!!
Kasumi takes the croissant and took a bite.
Kasumi: Mmmm! This looks great even if it’s just a sample!
Emma: Well, I tried a multi-layered bread and turns out pretty good.
Kasumi: Huh? Multi-layered you say?
Kasumi looked on the bitten croissant, turns out is real, much to her shocked.
Kasumi: 324 LAYERS?! [Chocked]
Kasumi choked in her surprise, grabbing her neck with her left hand while her right hand is reaching out for something. Emma rushed to the water dispenser nearby and fills a cup from it, then rushed again and gave it to Kasumi. She hurriedly emptied the cup and burst in her relief.
Kasumi: [glop, glop] Ahhh... hahh…
Emma: Are you alright, Kasumi?
Kasumi: I’m fine, Emma, thank you! I was just surprised how good is that croissant.
Emma: Is it?
Kasumi: Yeah. [Ting] Oh, I wanna show you something Emma!
The oven rang upon finishing baking that Kasumi had prepared.
Emma: What is it?
Kasumi suit her gloves and pulled something out of the oven.
Kasumi: Tada!!
Emma: Ooohh, Baguette!!
Kasumi: I tried this one for you! Here!
Kasumi handed her freshly baked baguette to Emma. She immediately pick up and tried biting. While munching the piece of baguette, she closed her eyes, gently touched her left cheek with her left hand while her right hand holds baguette before pronouncing her iconic phrase.
Emma: Buono!! Mmmmm!!
Kasumi smiled with her eyes closed while watching her munching the bread.
Emma: This is so good, Kasumi!!
Kasumi: I’m glad you really like it Emma!
Just as they finished conversing, a mysterious familiar customer who has bright orange hair, blue eyes and likely on her 30s has just arrived at their stall,
Customer: Uhmm, excuse me?
Emma and Kasumi: ???
Emma and Kasumi glanced aside at their customer momentarily before Kasumi took a surprise.
Kasumi: OH! Our first customer!! (Wait, I think she looks familiar… or maybe just my imagination, oh well...)
Kasumi’s body moved around to face at their customer.
Kasumi: Welcome to our cutest Nijigasaki Bakery Shop!! How can I serve you?
Customer: I would like to buy a whole plain bread! And oh, a baguette and croissant too!!
Kasumi: Okie, and okie!!
Kasumi leans her body close to Emma to whisper.
Kasumi: She seems familiar isn’t it?
Emma: Really? I don’t remember exactly, but she looks like an idol too.
Emma packed a whole bread and baguette before handing it to the customer. Then she paid with whole ¥1000 bill, but before Kasumi hands the change, the customer asked politely with a wink and a bright smile.
Customer: Keep the change!
Kasumi: Thank you…
Upon her saying that, a light feathers blew past her face. Kasumi immediately turns her head on Emma.
Kasumi: D-did you see that?!
Emma: Yeah…
Kasumi: I don’t remember exactly, but it’s definitely her! A famous legendary idol!
Emma: Maybe it’s just our imagination…
Kasumi turns her head back while talking and saw something that shook her.
Kasumi: Well, I gotta check those customers… Eh?
Much to her surprise, their stall was instantly jampacked with crowded students wanting to buy at their stall. Kasumi is quite inexperienced to server as many as these customers. She slowly steps backward towards Emma and reaches her both hands on Emma’s left hand like she need some help.
Kasumi: Emma… Do you think we can handle them with just two of us?
Emma: Maybe… They haven’t returned yet…
Kasumi: [whispered] Urgh… Where are they?
…: Sorry for keeping you waiting, Kasumi and Emma!!
Someone yelled from behind. They turned their heads back to see everyone from School Idol Club has finally arrived.
Shioriko: [Pants, pants] Just in time isn’t it?
Emma: Everyone…
Kasumi: Shizuko!!!
Kasumi cries then hurriedly hugs Shizuku, much to her relief.
Shizuku: It’s alright…
Ai: Such an easy task isn’t that easy.
Setsuna: Wait, are those…?
Ayumu: I think so.
Yu: It’s their customers, and it’s crowded!!
Rina: [Took out Rina-board with surprised reaction] So many of them...
Lanzhu: So what are we waiting for?
Kanata: Let’s start helping them shall we?
Mia: You bet!
And so everyone started helping each other while serving their customers.
Ai helped Kasumi baked some cheap breads. She draw something on a sign board written with “We’re cheap!!” to draw attention.
Kanata was seen advising Setsuna and Lanzhu how to baked properly.
Setsu accidentally trips herself while carrying breads and clings on Yu’s body. Ayumu was just right behind them was surprised.
Karin and Mia are seen serving the customers with Shioriko also assisting them.
And Emma is seen helping Shizuku on selling the famous croissant to the customers.
After few hours of non-stop serving their customers and the sun is about to set, their bakery was a success, with the entire members having celebrations at the front of the stall.
Everyone: CHEERS!!!
Yu: Finally, it’s over… Good job everyone!
Ai: That was really fun!
Ayumu: Yeah, and I learned a lot of stuffs too!
Karin: At least it went well.
Kanata: (Lecturing Setsuna and Lanzhu): That’s how you two cook properly.
Setsuna and Lanzhu: I-I’m sorry!!
Shioriko: We had served some special buns, right Mia?
Mia: Mmph mmph!! [Nods her head while munching some buns]
Rina: We’ve learn something new today.
Shizuku: Yup, you heard it right, Rina!
Yu then walks to Emma and Kasumi to thank them.
Yu: And especially both of you, Emma and Kasumi!
Emma and Kasumi: Thank you very much!
Kasumi then turns her body facing at Emma.
Kasumi: Uhmm Emma…
Emma: What is it Kasumi?
Kasumi is seen blushing upon talking.
Kasumi: I wanna say something, although it’s kinda embarrassing…
Emma: Don’t feel shy…
Emma raised her right hand and pats on Kasumi’s head. Kasumi feels shy at this point.
Kasumi: I… Mmmmm…
In a sudden moment, Kasumi leans on Emma and gave a light kiss on her left cheek. After she leans back, Emma was surprised with her wide eyes opened, raised her left hand and gently touch her left cheek where Kasumi kissed it.
Kasumi: I love you, Emma!
Kasumi smiled while they stared each other.
Emma: Thank you.
Emma responsed by hugging her tightly and kissed her forehead. After she kissed her, Kasumi was about to burst herself with her eyes shuts, her face turns completely red, holds her own cheek with both hands, and screams loudly!
Kasumi: A… AAAAAAAHHHH!!!
Emma closes her eyes and everyone around them smiled, with Ai giggled at Kasumi’s reactions. Everyone started chattering as they began walking away from the site under the dusk.
