Work Text:
"AUGH!" Enid exclaimed all of a sudden into their quiet dorm.
Concerned by the nature of the sound, Wednesday set her book that she had been reading down and quickly got up from her bed.
"Mi Loba, what ales you?" She said as she crouched down next to Enid.
Wednesday could now see Enid was panting as her face morphed into a painful expression.
"I-it hurts-s." She stuttered.
"Mi sol, what does?" Wednesday asked, checking over Enid, but saw nothing that would indicate pain.
"St-stomach." She panted out as her grip on her stomach tightened.
"Let me get you my heating pad."
Quickly making her way to her closet, the raven rummaged through her belongings as fast as she could. A second later, she found the heating pad.
"Here, hopefully, this will help sooth you." Wednesday said as she moved Enid's arms out of the way to place the pad on her after she plugged it in.
A few minutes later, Enid started feeling better.
"Thank you." Enid said with a bright smile.
Just nodding her head Wednesday asked, "What caused this?"
"I don't know," she shrugged her shoulders. "One minute I was scrolling on my phone, then the next it felt like my guts were being ripped out of my stomach." Enid quietly giggled, finding the notion funny.
"Hm." Wednesday said in thought.
"Can you cuddle with me so I feel better?" Enid asked with puppy-dog eyes.
". . . Fine, but only because you feel bad." Wednesday said not being able to resist Enid's plea.
"Aw, come on, Willa, admit it, you secretly love cuddling." Enid said as Wednesday crawled into her bed.
"Don't push your luck, Sinclair." Wednesday grumbled as she settled herself in the wolf's arms.
"You love me." Enid chuckled
"Of course I do." Wednesday huffed, "Now close your eyes and try to sleep so you can feel better faster."
"Aye, aye, captain." Enid yawned.
"I love you." Wednesday whispered after a moment.
"I love you too, Willa."
