-child emancipation is a legal thing where someone under the age of 18 is no longer under the care of their parents and are legally considered adults (this is common amongst child actors so they can work longer hours and get more roles) I think this practice would be especially common in Blackrock bc i think the general culture is hinged on career success and not so much emotional needs being met. Idk abt the other blackrock phighters but i feel like this definitely happened to hyperlaser. the practice is a lot less common in other regions but still happens. I hc that it also happened to boombox and he was the one who wanted to be emancipated
-blackrock reminds me a lot of the soviet union and the soviet union is well known for producing some of the shittest cars in human history. for this reason i think blackrock cars suck even tho theyre supposed to be all technologically advanced
-hyperlaser drives a really poorly designed car and subspace bullies him about it. even worse is biograft pulling out statistics of how likely his car is to explode with him in it and he's just there like 'putting the fuel line next to the engine isnt bad design ok'
- because blackrock cars suck subspace doesnt have one and uses biograft instead. he has gotten pulled over multiple times because no one can figure out if robots can legally be on the road
-zuka is terrible driver with diabolical road rage and still wonders where rocket gets it from
-rocket is an even worse driver who has totaled so many cars zuka stopped helping him pay for new ones and now nobody wants to be in a car hes driving. his current car was bought off of facebook marketplace and looks like this: (image woulsnt work im crying so here here is his piece of shit car)
-it was the only one he could afford and sword thinks it looks like a toy car and bullies him for it
-boombox is the definition of "i listen to everything' im not kidding he has something of every genre in his playlist
-rockets favourite song is 'not pretty enough' by kasey chambers and whenever he hears it he sings it like hes going through a divorce like full on crying and screaming
-boombox looks almost identical to his mom. like his horns are a mirror image of hers so when he was a teen he used to file them down but eventually stopped doing it after he started living on his own because having to maintain it knowing why he was doing it in the first place made it harder for him to move past things (mommy issues core)
-medkit hates sweet foods and will often refuse to eat them
-skateboard is an avril lavinge stan. his favourite song is in fact NOT sk8r boi
-boombox's gear is pretty much a long term project he's been working on for years. it was broken when he first got it and he's fixed it and has been adding things over time. its his pride and joy and hes super proud of it. despite this, he lets people think he just bought it from boombloxx because he thinks it looks better for his 'branding'
-despite the fact that hes literally only 3 inches shorter than them, skateboard and slingshot bully boombox relentlessly by calling him an elf and shit. sometimes when theyre meeting up to hang out they pretend they cant see him and deliberately look over his head to try and 'find' him. poor boombox has given up on telling them to stop
-banhammer is a sore loser. like its genuinely really bad he'll lose a game of uno and start screaming and destroying everything in sight. everyone calls them his toddler tantrums behind his back
-because each region hates each other at least a lil bit there are more than likely negative stereotypes abt the people who live in them (demons from blackrock are violent and apathetic, demons from playground are dumb and sheltered, demons from thieves den are basically hippies and demons from lost temple are spoiled and snobby)
