Chapter Text
This story is meant to be an experiment for me to try to tell a story where the written word and visuals intersect, not separate, but both integral to the narrative. The point of the experiment is to explain what I lack in vocabulary, or rather, cannot be explained in words, using animated visuals. Thus, the visuals become part of the story, not merely a supplement to the written word. Neither of the intertwined halves of the story will make sense without experiencing both in the intended order.
In truth, I must admit that although the end result is not entirely what I had anticipated at the very beginning, I am still glad that this part of Elyon's story arc is complete. I am unsure if I will ever continue this narrative, or start a new one with more original characters to try and expand on the idea further, mixing written story and animated visuals together.
There are two endings to Elyon's tale, each following a different path diverging from a common point, the crossroads being the Yesod chapter. After that, lethobenthos and Malkuth go one after another, or kairosclerosis and Da'at.
Thank you for reading this junk I've been tinkering at for 2 years now. Doesn't really matter if you don't like it, or anything. Reading it through is enough for me. Leave a comment or anything - I don't particularly care at this point.
14th Jun 2025 update: After double-checking, Gevurah (Chapter 7 in the order) has been re-added because somehow it had escaped me while I transferred my story chapters to AO3. Apologies for the seemingly incomprehensible jump from exulansis to Chesed.
