Summary
"Shouldn't have wished to live in more interesting times." Yesterday, Brychan was just a sailor with some basic weather magic, working on a merchant vessel sailing from the Moonshaes to Baldur's Gate. Now he's been kidnapped by mind flayers, infected with a parasite that is slowly turning him into a monster, and stranded on a remote stretch of the Sword Coast with six other infected victims.
Though he had occasionally dreamed of adventure as any young man does, Brychan finds himself quickly in over his head as he and his new companions face cultists, monsters, and the secret triumvirate chosen of the Dead Three. He'll need to find a way to harness the tempest inside himself to have any hope of protecting the companions he has quickly come to care for, especially Karlach and Wyll.
