Sonic was brewing his tee in a kitchen, as he hears knocking to his main entery door. His ears turning to the sound immediately. After them Sonic turns his full body and sees mobian coming in thru the door. It was Shadow. As Shadow faces his boyfriend a light smile on his face appears.
— Hi,- Shadow says.
— Hi, um, why would you randomly come to my house? Or did you just came all the way here to see my beautiful face?- Sonic replied with a cocky tone. Blue hedgehog had no idea why Shadow came to his house. Shadow don't do such a surprises very often, 'cause he lives far from village in a cave and it is not much fun to get to Sonic's shack, that's why Sonic was confused.
— You don't remember, do you?- Shadow's smile fades out and he crosses his hands.
— it depends on what exactly are you talking about,- Sonic gazes at his partner for a second. — Yes, I'm sorry, was it that important?
— Movie night today, you were supposed to get us snacks and choosing the movie was on me,- Black and red hedgehog says and get further to Sonic.
— I see, It is very important,- Shadow’s smile is back and now it's getting brighter. — well,- Sonic looks at his tee getting cooler. — I guess now I have to do another tee, don't I, huh?- Blue hedgehog return his cocky tone and gazes back direct into his boyfriend’s eyes for a few seconds with a smile, as gives Shadow a lil kiss on a cheek and quickly returns to a counter to hide his huge blush and looks for infuser for tea. — Would you like any sweets for tea?
— No,- Shadow stoped for a second as a hideous smile on his face stated getting brighter. — Except for you, sweetie,- Sonic blushing even more now.
— That is so sweet of you, Shads,- Sonic said still not facing his partner.
— Are we making sweet puns now?
— I don't now, you started it! But I don't mind if you want to,- Sonic said sweet. And after finishing making tea he leaved it to brew and turned to black and red hedgehog.
— Oh, I think I'm done with them. But if you don't, I would like to continue, sweetheart!- Shadow looked at him with those eyes and slightly tilted his head to the side, which made sonic laugh and have gay panic at the same time.
— Oh stop!- Sonic said jokingly, while he continued to laugh.
After drink was done making, hedgehogs sat down in the kitchen, placing their drinks near them on a table.
— Thank you,- Shadow says out of nowhere.
— You're welcome! But for what exactly?- Sonic being gentle, while black and red hedgehog looks at his tea cooling.
— I don’t know, I mean you've done so much for me and I just feel like I have to be more grateful. There is also a lot of stuff that I don't mention, but still thankful for, like this tea you know,- Shadow smiles and grubs his cup, as he finally looks into Sonic's eyes. — Thanks for it by the way.
— You're welcome, Shads!! But take it slow, or will burn yourself!
— Strange to hear it from you, faker,- Shadow giggles, while looking straight into lovely emerald eyes.
— I heart you too, Shadow,- Sonic says it in a cute and mockingly tone, while smirk on his muzzle gets brighter. Shadow acting suspiciously shy for a few seconds, as he says.
— You look really pretty,- He rolls his eyes, blushes and comes further to Sonic and leaves him a kiss on a cheek, then looks into Sonic's confused and 'in love' eyes for few more seconds, after turns to shelves with snacks.
— Let's see what you got here, in the end of a day snacks were on you as I said earlier,- Shadow says blushing really hard, he loves cheek kisses!
— Exactly as you said earlier, Kytsyun’a,- Sonic says, looking at his boyfriend, as if he is his a treasure.

— So what did you choose?- Sonic asks while taking a seat on a couch and looking at Shadow playfully.
— I believe it called "Harry Potter and something else" I forget what else is,- Shadow says confident until sees look Sonic gaved him.
— But you said you haven't seen the movie you've chosen, there is no way you haven't seen it,- Pause where Sonic mockingly stares at Shadow, who starts to be more and more embarrassed by Sonic's stare. — At least you've read books?
— There were books?- Shadow starts feel even worse like he's guilty for some reason, until he sees Sonic getting exited
— Wait! Am I about to introduce you to Harry Potter?- Blue hedgehog's eyes start to shine from excitement.
— Yes?- Now Shadow was completely confused.
— Good,- Sonic says satisfied and starts to play film.
During the film Sonic was talking a lot and explaining everything, rather it needs explanation, or not, sometimes mentioning spoilers for next movies, which Shadow blamed him for. By talking Sonic was disturbing Shadow from watching a movie. Also by talking a lot Sonic hasn’t fall asleep before the end of the movie, as he usually does.
But in the end of the day Shadow was fine with that, with spoilers, with Sonic bothering him. Even though he would tell Sonic not to do this again, he would turn a blind eye to Sonic's imperfections, after every his touch. Shadow doesn’t like when anyone touches him.. but Sonic. Even knowing that Shadow feels scared every time Sonic gives him a light touch like grubbing his hand it feels like a disaster and everything in a way. At the same time! Anytime it happens hedgehog's mind is about to blow up, but don’t. And in a some way it is when he feels alive. Even known that he is the ultimate life form and he doesn’t need anyone, but… but Sonic, Shadow needs him more then anything. In a good way of course. It is just that he can’t imagine the world without him anymore. Someone can call it an obsession, but it is in a way, in a good one. He just can’t stop staring and smiling at Sonic while blue hedgehog is laughing about his own joke somehow connected to Harry Potter, which Shadow can’t simply understand, 'cause Sonic interfered with understanding the plot.
Shadow could talk for hours with Amy about how he cannot get his eyes of Sonic, when he is around. And Amy would listen, because she is good friend, maybe even too good to tolerate Shadow non stop talking about Sonic. There were other things they would discuss, but the one was regular.

After the end of the movie blue hedgehog almost immediately fell asleep thinking his boyfriend did too, well he almost did. Last thing Shadow remembered before awaking was Sonic's cute sleepy muzzle and a smile on his own face. He was just happy, cause his boyfriend was. And realizing that he is the one who made him happy was even nicer to feel. “Good night”- Shadow said to Sonic, who was already dreaming, before doze off himself.
