Summary
Fairy World's been keeping a secret for a long time--fairies are part of the Seelie Court, whereas there are other, more vicious fairies and dark creatures within the Unseelie Court. For hundreds of years, the two have been separated. (Anti-fairies are nominally in the Unseelie Court but aren't always considered evil enough to pass muster). Desperate for a way to prove fairies exist, Crocker and his ancestor Alden Bitterroot join the Unseelie Court. The fairies and their godchildren are tasked with intervening--but their plans go awry when it seems that the Unseelie Court has a predilection for fairy godmothers. The Unseelie Court, particularly their king, Asmodeus, like nothing more than to "take fairy godmothers down a few pegs." Asmodeus sets his sights on Wanda...and things escalate from there.
