Chapter Text
A bright, golden light.
A faint voice.
A cold-but-warm water around him, lowering, draining.
He lays atop a stone plinth.
(All he sees is white. He does not need to see to recognize the feeling of freezing slate below him.
From where does he recognize this feeling, he wonders.)
“Open your eyes.”
That voice again- He strains to hear it, but all he hears is the draining of the water around him, the gentle lap at the edges of a tub, until-
“Wake up, Link.”
And Link awakens.
