Camo was excited, he knew what today was. He looked at Yuri who was sleeping next to him, he almost couldn't contain his excitement. Suddenly it hit him, he didn't even get her a birthday gift! Camo felt like a bad friend for forgetting.
Camo didn't even know what she liked other than helping others and food. Wait! Food! Camo knew what he was going to do
Quietly he grabbed a whisk and medium sized bowl. He grabbed and put chocolate, sugar, and a pinch of salt in the bowl and proceeded to whisk it together. In a small saucepan, he brought milk to a simmer, then transferred to the bowl. He let it stand for 1 minute. He whisked it together for 1 minute until smooth. Then he added egg whites and peppermint extract and whisked for 1 minute until well combined. He put the mixture into two separate cups and chilled it using icy wind.
He then grabbed the whipped cream and dolloped the cups and then sprinkled with peppermint candies.
Camo smiled at his creation, it smelled good and he finished just in time as Yuri woke. As Yuri yawned she sniffed the air
"Is that peppermint and chocolate I smell?" She asked looking at Camo with a confused look
Camo smiled "Happy birthday Yuri!" He grabbed one of the cups and slid it over to her. She smiled at Camo and her eyes shown as she looked at the Chocolate dessert.
Yuri sniffed it before she started to eat, taking her first bite she made a purring sound and wagged her tail.
"It's delicious!" Yuri meowed happily with a smile on her face. Camo grabbed the other cup and sat next to Yuri, he smiled at her and she smiled back.
