Pierre can't believe the dream they have been seeing for so many years is finally coming true. He is still looking at the message that Charles sent to him in glee.
“Everything is sorted. The announcement would go out today. Did you talk to Yuki yet?”
Oh right. He was supposed to talk to Yuki and convince him to stay with him and Charles just like all those years ago.
“I am just about to do that now,” he replies.
Pierre opens his chat with Yuki.
“Do you want to do a do over sleepover like we did back in 2021?”
Yuki's reply is immediate. “NO! You two are super gross together. Not happening!!”
“Please,Yuki. It will be fun.”
“Watching you and Charles make doe eyes at each other despite being married for 10 years is not fun for me.It's bad enough that I am sharing a car with you.”
“Despite what you want to say we know you love us,”
“Not enough to subject myself to the torture. I would rather hang out with Arthur. He would agree with me.”
“Rude!!”
“I said what I said. I will see you in Le Mans.”
“As you wish. See you soon. We will get Pizza and Fries one night instead.”
Yuki sends him a thumbs up indicating that the conversation is over. Pierre shakes his head. Despite all these years Yuki hasn't changed a bit and he loves that about him.
He goes back to do the task he was doing before the text from Charles arrived. He sees his daughters looking at him annoyed.
“Désolé, mes amours. Papa needed me to do something for him,” he apologizes to them as he goes back to coloring the drawing with them. He drops kisses on their heads for good measure.
He watches as their frowns melt into smiles.“It's okay, Dada.” His younger daughter, Amelie smiles at him, before going back to coloring her drawing.
“Juliette?” He asked his older daughter who was still looking at him.
“When is Papa coming home?” She asks him.
“He will be back tonight. We are going to have dinner together,” he assures her.
Juliette starts chattering about what they should make for dinner now that her Papa is coming back from work with occasional comments by Amelie.
Pierre sits back and enjoys the moment. He can never get enough of his family. His best friend and the love of his life, Charles and their two amazing daughters. If somebody would have told him that this would be his life one day. He wouldn't have believed them.
Not only did both he and Charles win world championships before retiring from F1, they got to build a family together like they always wanted. All their dreams came true. They have two daughters like they wanted and the only thing left is a third baby on its way.
He still remembers the way Charles had teased him about being ready for a baby after they did a video with Squeezie. Little did Charles know then about the dreams Pierre had about their babies over the years.
It took them a few years to get talking about it but once they did they never stopped talking about creating a family. Their happy family is a result of all their dreams they have woven together.
Breaking news. Team GL owned by Pierre Gasly-Leclerc and Charles Gasly-Leclerc are going to enter their first Le Mans race this year with 3 cars. Their team had been racing in the juniors series until now. This year they have decided to take the big leap to the bigger stages. The engine is going to be supplied to them by the Ferrari hypercar team. This move has been in the works for a couple of years now and we are finally going to see it come to fruition.
The two cars #10 consists of Charles younger brother Arthur Leclerc, Mitch Evans and Alex Lynn and #16 consisting of Stoffel Vandoorne,Callum Iliot and Marcus Armstrong are going to compete the entire championship while the car #26 consisting of owners Pierre Gasly-Leclerc and Charles Gasly-Leclerc and Yuki Tsunoda.
“Pierre and I have always dreamed of racing Le Mans together. I also had the same dream with Arthur. Today our dreams are coming true and I can't be any more excited. I never had the opportunity to work with half of these racers. It will be a fun experience. I am particularly looking forward to teaming up with Yuki,” says Charles.
“Charles and I have discussed a lot about this over the years. One thing we were clear about always was that we were going to share a car and two that we wanted Yuki to be our third teammate. Luckily for us we managed to convince Yuki to come race with us. Though it wasn't easy. Yuki kept complaining about it being gross,” laughs Pierre.
“Pierre is right. It is gross being teammates with them. They are disgusting in love. It can get annoying when you are trying to work and all they can do is stare at each other,” Yuki comments over the phone when asked about Pierre's comment.
We at Motorsports Italy wish the team well for the upcoming season at the world endurance championship.
It's media day at Le Mans and Pierre is already done with the media duties. He had gotten lazy in the last few years about doing media stuff. It is now coming back to bite him. All he wants to do is play with their daughters and show them around the track but they would rather be with uncle Lorenzo right now.
“You got to work dada. We can play later,” Juliette had scolded him earlier before this interview. Charles had done an extremely good job at instilling good work ethics in them.
He has another idea. If he can't play with his kids he can certainly drag Charles away for some alone time instead. After all, Charles still follows him wherever he goes.
He finds Charles finishing up his interview. He tries to drag Charles to go with him but he refuses. “Pierre, I still got interviews to do.”
“Come on Charles, please,” he gives Charles a suggestive wink.
“I got work to do,” Charles tells him, a bit reluctantly.
“We can skip it. The girls are busy with Enzo and I was wondering if we could start talking about our third baby?,” Pierre says, thumbing at Charles' waist.
“Third baby? You seem to be in a mood,” Charles grins at him.
“I have been thinking about it for a while now. I wanted to be sure before I brought it up with you,” Pierre replies.
“And you are sure now? Here in the middle of this paddock?” Charles questions him.
"Charles, you know what my parents were doing here in Le Mans, right?" Pierre smirks at him.
Charles blushes when he realizes what occasion Pierre was referring to.
“If they can accidentally create a baby here, we can certainly start discussing it, no?” Pierre winks at Charles as he walks away because Charles is getting called by his media guy urgently.
"Pierre, stop, Yuki can walk in on us," Charles breathes out, even as he gives him more access to his neck. They have finally found a moment to be together alone. Pierre is going to take full advantage of it.
"Let him. He is being very annoying," Pierre continues pressing kisses down his neck. It is true. Yuki hasn't been subtle at reminding them how gross he finds them.
"You won't have it any other way," Charles pulls Pierre's head back to look at him challengingly.
Pierre's answer is interrupted with the door opening and Yuki walking in. “I knew you were doing something gross,” he says deadpan.
“Yuki,” Pierre groans. He swears he loves this guy so much but isn't pleased that Yuki is interrupting them by barging into their driver's room.
“I was just saying Practice is about to start in 15 minutes. You still need it to warm up,” he reminds them.
“What do you think we were doing here then? Pierre jokes. Charles slaps at Pierre's chest in embarrassment.
“Whatever, we don't want the owners to be late do we? I am going to go see what Arthur is doing right now. Ciao” Yuki rolls his eyes and leaves the room.
Pierre turns back to Charles “now where -” Charles quickly interrupts him with a deep kiss.
They kiss for a minute before Charles pulls away sheepishly. “Yuki is right, we can't afford to be late. You will have to wait” Charles pats Pierre’s cheeks.
Pierre groans at his luck it seems he can't find any moment he would like to have this weekend after all.
Practice sessions went as they expected them to happen. They knew they had a solid car to fight the midfield with an occasional podium. The team's progress in the championship has been proof of that. #10 even podiumed in Spa. Pierre hopes they can get a podium this weekend as well.
His thoughts are interrupted as Charles and Yuki drop the Pizza and Fries on the table.
“Pizza,” their girls scream before diving into it. “hot,” Amelie starts complaining.
Charles starts chuckling “that's what you get for not blowing on it before eating it,” he helps Amelie by blowing on the pizza trying to cool it down enough for her to not burn her tongue.
“Why do we always get pizza and fries when we meet uncle Yuki here at Le Mans,” Juliette asks them, happily munching on her fries.
“It's because that was the first meal that uncle Yuki bought for us the first time we were at Le Mans together,” Charles explains it to her.
“That's right. You dads here kidnapped me to Le Mans and I was just trying to be nice to them,” Yuki tells Juliette.
“Kidnapped?” Pierre laughs at him.
“You didn't give me any choice but to come on the trip with you and then you made me share a room with you. That's kidnapping,” Yuki nodded seriously.
Pierre and Charles look at each other and smile. No matter how much Yuki denies it they know he loved every but of it.
“Uncle Yuki, why didn't you bring Yashi with you?,” Amelie wants to know.
“Yashi had to attend a wedding with her mother,” Yuki tells her.
“You should bring her to Milan soon. I miss playing with her,” Amelie instructs him.
“I will,” Yuki gives her a smile.
“Oh, now that Amelie is asking you to visit us. But you won't when we ask you to? That's not fair Yuki,” Charles pouts at him.
It's because I love her and Juliette. They don't annoy me as much as you two do.” Yuki teases him.
Charles and Yuki start to banter. Pierre can't thank God enough for blessing him with this life.
