"Who, when, where, how and most importantly why..." I said as I got up from my chair where I was scribbling on my notebook after flinching a bit from the sudden knock on the door as I answered it.
I was wondering who it could've been at such a late hour only to see my friend Clay, he holds out a letter to me "I got the letter thing u asked me for" he says and smiles softly when I take the letter.
"You already got it? How tho?-"
"I- uhm... let's say I just did some off camera work"
"...."
"Do you finally see now that the joke isn't funny-"
"Shut."
"Anywho- you should get ready to go to the manor, better to not waste that much time..."
"Yea... you're right, welp bye Dream I'll see ya later!"
"Bye bye, don't die during the investigation!"
"I won't now get the fuck out of my room-"
After slamming the door shut I decided to get ready to leave for the manor. "It'd be better if I brought all the investigation records with me..." I thought to myself as I picked up all the papers that have all the stuff written on it about the investigation, soon enough after a few minutes I finished packing my stuff- all of a sudden flinch at the sudden sound of falling only to see a music box, THE music box...
It was of a dark gold color and had an handle with a dark red tint to it and on top of it there was a design of a snake eating its tail.
I sigh as I pick it up and put it in the suitcase. "Time to disguise myself I suppose" I open the closet to get stuff to alter my appearance a bit but then I notice a hairpin, THE hairpin...
It resembled a blue butterfly with some jewelry on it...
I let out a groan as I put it in the suitcase as I put on my coat and am finally ready to leave. I sigh as I pick up the little mirror I have and look at myself one last time making sure I look normal.
"Greetings, I'm... hmm... I'm Bernadette, a pleasure to meet you!... yea that'll do it...."
