Jazz threw the comb onto the counter in frustration. She couldn’t get her hair to do what she wanted. Even after an hour of work. It always went this way. And she had even started super early to make sure she had time.
It had to be perfect. This was her first gala with Cass as her girlfriend. She couldn’t mess this up. Yet, there she was near tears over her hair.
There was a gentle knock on the doorframe and Jazz looked in the mirror to see Cass standing there with a stool in hand.
“Please, let me help.”
