Rain's pov.
Today is our six month anniversary, so I want to suprise my hubby by making him something special.
After asking my mama what would be a good way to suprise him she told me that I could make something for him. Afterall something that comes from the heart and is made with love has more meaning than something you buy in a supermarket.
This is why I am going to bake him a cake, well try since this would be my first time to ever set foot in a kitchen. Except for watching my drop dead handsome hubby cook, aagh, he is so hot.
"Rain get back, no time to think you have work to do! Fighting!"
I looked up some recepices and they all looked pretty simple. Just get the few ingrediënts, mix and bake. How hard can it be?
Well hard enough if you forget buying stuff cause your hot hubby decided to tease you through texts.
After groceries shopping for an hour or two I got back at Sky's dorm.
I could use P'Phayu's kitchen but he will get mad if I broke something so Sky’s it is.
It took me 3 days of begging and a week of buying him food but atleast I can work without any more distractions.

I have been unpacking and sorting through different sites to find a chocolate cake with coffee taste.
It took a while but I finally found it. A chocolate cake with coffee frosting.
Everything went well, I had all the ingrediënts except flower, vanille extract and buttermilk.
No worry if we don't have it we can always use something else. But what is buttermilk, do I have to melt butter and milk and mix our does it come like that out of a cow?
"Alright Rain you are smart so lets mix some rice till it looks like flower and for buttermilk? Hmmm oh I have some orange juice and coconut water in the fridge. Vanille can be skipt I’ll just use some more chocolate. Not like you will taste the difference!"
"Can you use orange juice for a cake?"
"Who knows maybe I should find something else, na no time to waste my hubby is waiting!"
Alright let's do this. There are only four steps, Rain fighting you can do this!
Step 1 the oven. Well it looks alive to me. How am I supposed to know if it's hot enough? Should I put my hand in it?
"Maybe Sky knows, no Rain you can do this alone!"
Since I don't know how to use an oven let's use the microwave instead. Problem solved!
Next sugar, oh I have it or is this salt, hmm looks like sugar to me so one cup. This coffee mok will be big enough for a cup right? And 1/2 tablespoon salt? Hmm what is a tablespoon, ah let's just follow our feeling. One hand should be enough!
I kept following all the steps, although I did change some ingrediënts and used my feeling sometimes. It ended up looking pretty good if I say it myself.
Now the only thing left is baking everything. Okay the microwave is on 350 Watt for 30 minutes. That should be right, so let's start frosting.
I was about to make my frosting when the microwave made a strange sound and started smoking.
So my cake is finished or what? I thought it would change color. Looks like it should be done and I saved time cause it only took 20 minutes.
See why should you use an oven if you have a microwave rhat could cook everything you want.

Another 10 minutes later the frosting was done. To make sure it really tasted like coffee I added some extra coffee grinds and complete coffee beans to my mixture.
It sure smelled of coffee so it should be done.
I glaced my cake and out I went. My hubby will be so proud of me.
Sky will clean his kitchen and he may need a knew microwave since this one almost destroyed my cake! Why did it catch flames, such bad quality. Maybe P'Prapai could gift him a new one.

Phayu’s pov.
I came home and expected my darling on tge couch but Saifai told me he hasn't arrived yet.
Strange he should have been here an hour ago. Maybe I should give him a call?
It became even stranger when he didn't pick up but one call to nong Sky and I found my baby.
It didn’t take long after that. 2 hours later he walked in with a beautiful big smile on his face covered with food and a box.
Looks like my naughty boy ruined Sky's dorm. Poor nong I will text Prapai to go safe him from his missery.
Afterall I know how clumsy my Raindrop gets when he tries to make something and looking at him now it should be a mess.
I wanted to kiss my baby but I didn’t grt a chance.
"P'Phayu please take a seat at the kitchen table I got a suprise for you." He was so happy and skipped his way to the kitchen pushing me forward.
The box waw placed right in front in me while Rain stared at me so he wouldn’t miss any reactions.
Slowly I opend it and found a pretty good looking cake with some missing frosting. It smelled really nice and the smell of coffee couldn’t be missed.
"P' what do you think. It is for our 6 month anniversary, do you like it?"
"It looks beautiful baby, did you make it all alone?" I asked while pulling him in my lap for a cuddle.
Rain scooped some cake on a fork and started to feed me the first bite.
"So good baby, the best cake I ever had!"
IT WAS HORRIBLE, SO SALTY AND UNCOOKED AND WHY DID IT TASTE LIKE THERE WAS SAND IN THE FROSTING!
" REALLY P' LET ME TRY IT! " He looked so happy, my sweet darling is so proud I need to save him.
He was about to taste it himself but he will get upset if it taste bad so I ate it before he could.
"P'Phayu I want to try it." He gave me his puppy eyes.
"You can't darling I want to eat it all! Can't your hubby eat more na?" I said extra sad and it worked.
It took me a whole hour to finish this whole cake and left me hanging above a toilet all night long.
Lucky for me Rain went home for the night or he would be upset seeing me like this.
Let's just hope that their won't be a cake next time.
Or that Sky will bane him from entering his kitchen ever again because my stomach will die if I have to eat this often.
